I recently switched to Verizon. The reputation of Verizon for world class customer service proceeded itself. And has not disappointed from the moment I became a customer. The level of service I have experienced is rare and exceptional in this world yet seems ubiquitous within this company. I had trouble with obtaining a return label. For the life of me I could not figure out this dilemma. I went to the store and was helped by Patrick and Johnathan who is an impressive young manager. I need them to know how much they are appreciated!! Please pass along this message: Dear Patrick, Thank you for today! You really helped to put me at ease with my situation. Honestly I would not have been able to navigate the process of printing a label for my trade in return without your help. You literally took my phone issue into your hands. You even boxed my return and all I needed to do was drop it off at the UPS store. You were also so gracious with the sweet lady whom you simultaneously assisted! We were pleased and impressed with your attention to detail! You are incredibly patient and relatable. Also you know how to be so sweet towards ladies. I bet you make your parents proud! When you told me you were only working there for three days I began to believe this: you have a great future ahead. This particular location is fine, but always busy. My main complaint is with Verizon at large. We ordered a phone to be delivered with their holiday deal witch included a couple other things. We told them our current address, but found our account said an old address and they were shipped to the old one. Before those things got delivered, we called Verizon and told them to change the address. The two other things ended up getting delivered, but we were able to get our hands on them anyways. The phone was caught before being delivered, but instead of being shipped to the correct address, it is being returned to sender and we have to place a new order. This whole process shouldn't have happened because we told them the correct address to ship to. I want Verizon to do something to make up for this. read more

The only reason they even deserve the One star is the service provided by Mark at their Jordan Landing location in Utah. I am a five year customer with Sprint. I was looking at cell phone plans on other carriers to see if switching would save me money. Long story short, it won't. However, through an inquiry Verizon created an account for me with my phone number that Sprint owns, however I never authorized it and my Sprint service never disconnected. I called to ask them NOT to send me a SIM card, but the agent that spoke with me on the phone said, "Just don't use the SIM card. We can't stop from sending it to you. The Verizon service won't activate or charge you unless you use the SIM card on your phone." That was very wrong, and very inconsiderate customer service. Well, I ended up getting a bill for my "First Month" of service on a plan I never used, for a phone number Verizon NEVER acquired the phone number for. I had to spend over 2.5 hours in the store with Mark who was amazing at handling my situation, and he was able to confirm Verizon was wrong in doing what they did to me, he cleared all charges, and he cancelled any plans set up without my authorization through Verizon. The next day I received a bill for over $130.00 and I brought that back in to Mark. He credited the entire amount back so I had $0.00 owing, which I shouldn't have anyway. Mark told me that I will receive Another statement from Verizon and if there is another balance to... COME INTO THE STORE AGAIN... so he can take care of it. UPDATE: Two weeks after he corrects the issue, Verizon sends a bill saying I owed $4.86... UGH! So now I get to go back again in two days so Mark can help me wipe out that balance I don't owe them. VERIZON IS HORRIBLE IN EVERY POSSIBLE WAY! ** I used to work for them AND I used to have their service. read more

Run don't walk away from this Verizon store and Verizon service in total. We signed up for Verizon service during a promo giving us new phones after bill credits. We traded in our old phones and everything seemed fine. 5 lines in total. The first month our bill was over $300 which the rep said was due to taxes and fees, but we paid the tax in store we thought. They told us that it would get fixed by the next month. Fine. The next month came and we got another bill for over $300. This time they told us that it was due to a billing issue and that it would be fixed by next month. I originally singed up at the other Verizon store in Herriman, but came to this store because I was in the area. The personI spoke to assured me that this was not normal and that my bill would be fixed by the second month. This went on month after month for 4 months before we finally said forget it and cancelled all of our service with VZ. Went to two different VZ stores and spoke to 5 agents who all told us that it was a mistake and that it would be fixed. It never was and we needed up paying over $300 a month for four months when our bill was suppose to by no more than $150 a month. Verizon has lost customer forever and I will be telling all my friends and family even strangers to watch out. read more

We brought in a new phone and asked Aldo at Jordan Landing Verizon to help us get it set up and transfer the data over. We didn't realize what a huge job this was going to be because the old phone's memory was so full. Throughout the long process of getting the data moved, Aldo was nothing but cheerful and kind, even when it took until after closing time. This is the worst Verizon store I've ever been to. I went in 5 months ago to get my Business account set up. Well the general Manager Cody, is anything but helpful. He managed to create the shell account but couldn't figure out how to sell me a phone. Moving on to Blaire with Verizon for Business out of this same store, she's IMPOSSIBLE to get ahold of. She has been less helpful that the general manager who simply directs me to call Blaire again. Never. Ever. Bring your business here. Lol they don't want it!! I still have no phones! Just a billing emails from a shell account with no actual services. I went over to AT&T at Jordan landing and wow!! In and out in 45 minutes and they finished the rest so I could return to work!! I walked into the store after finishing up an order with a customer rep over the phone. I was transferring from another carrier. Let me just say we were met with distasteful service. Customer service rep with fro didn't want to give me his name and was rude. 100 percent canceling my order, rethinking the transfer of my carrier. I'm not even a Verizon customer but I went to this location to switch service to them. I was stopped at the door and asked for my number, I told him I wasn't a customer but wanted to switch over. He took my name and a number he could text me on when it was my turn since only so many people are allowed in. He said 3 were ahead of me. I literally watched about 5 different people walk up and go in the store and get helped, but I waited. And when I say I waited I literally waited an HOUR and after seeing 5 or so people get helped in front of me and even the "manager" walk out and motion in an elderly man that it was his turn when i had been waiting over 30 min when I saw him pull up. So I left and I never even got ANY text so I was clearly forgotten. Guess they don't want my business. That's fine, I'll go to a different location and give them my money. read more

Stopped by to check the status on my 2 year contract because I'm wanting to upgrade my phone. It turns out im eligible for an upgrade one day after the phone I want goes OFF sale for 50% off. Verizon said they couldn't do anything for me and also couldn't price match another store that does have a sale when I'm eligible. So much for rewarding a customer of 15 loyal years. They recently remodeled this location. The whole layout is completely different. I like the old layout better, this new floor plan makes it harder to walk around and browse the store. I like how you can check in when you arrive to put yourself in line for an employee to help you. I was slightly irritated that when I checked in I was told it would be about a 5 minute wait but actually ended up waiting 20 to 30 minutes. read more

Do not go here. The old layout was WAY better, the remodel of this location was one of the worst things they could have done. The center island makes an obstruction that is difficult to see employees and customers, and the general layout lacked forethought. I tried expressing my concerns/giving feedback with the multitude of changes that have taken place at this location, and the manager threatened to throw-me-out. I was shocked! In the past 10 years I have gone to this location, I have never been treated that way. I figured out why, I was too close to the customers around me, and they were all listening in, I couldn't tell because my back was to them; I wasn't even talking that loud. The impression I get when you go to the "new Verizon" is to: shut up, do what you are told, and pay whatever we tell you that you need to pay. Awards that this location should receive, are: * High turn-over * High pressure tactics * Poor customer service * Poor store layout * Inadequate management I stopped going to the stores all together, i call *611 from my phone and talk to customer service. Customer service ALWAYS takes care of me, and they'll mail new phones to you, you don't even need to leave your house (or apartment). Total waste of time, space, and resources. Went in with a problem with my bill. The lady I spoke with was helpful until I told her I was being charged for a line I had canceled and unexplained roaming. Suddenly she couldn't help me "we can't do anything here, you have to call our 800 number." I asked for a manager, after she went and explained our situation the manager was magically unavailable. I asked if after 20 years with Verizon they wanted me to leave and go to a competitor. She still refused to help.... what kind of dumpster fire is Verizon becoming?! Somehow this experience was almost worst than the hour I spent on the phone with a moronic call center woman the night before. This might be the final push T-Mobile I needed... get together... Thanks for your reply below. I can't help but notice you tried to emphasize my roaming charges, while ignoring the fact you are still charging me for a line I canceled last year, and you refuse to address this in store... your customer service reminds me of the "Pop-copy" sketch from the Chapelle Show. read more

Came in the day before and was told it would be an hour wait. So we scheduled an appointment for today at 12:00. We arrived and it was ten minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. We waited another 35 minutes before leaving. They had four employees in the store and one was literally just standing there. The staff were polite, but they clearly don't understand the point of making an appointment. read more

If you want an unreliable phone and bad customer service buy an Apple product today from Verizon! We have had issues with our iPhone7 plus since day one with calls dropped. They refused to switch out our phone with a refurbished one even and kept suggesting changing our settings in our phone. It constantly says "No Service" but instead of admitting to selling an unreliable phone and switching it out they keep telling us it's not their problem. We had to make a 911 phone call and in the midst of telling emergency dispatchers our location the call dropped and it said No Service. Now the phone completely refuses to work at all. Biggest waste of money! Worst customer service. Don't waste your money on over priced service that won't get you anywhere. read more

The manager of this store must have been asleep the day that customer service was being taught. I ordered a new phone online, and opted to pick it up at the store. The next day, after not hearing anything, I called Verizon's customer service number. They told me that the phone should be ready, all the paperwork had been sent to the store. I stopped by about an hour later, and the person that greeted me told me that unless I had received an e-mail stating the order was ready, it was not. I told him of my phone conversation, and would he please check on the status. He declined to do so. I asked if I could speak with a supervisor, and he told me he was the supervisor. How hard can it be to try to help out the customer by maybe chasing the order down? read more

Saturday morning and there's A LOT of people in this store, making it look like a zoo. I am greeted by the customer service agent at the door who asks my name and what I need. He puts my name on his log-in computer and tells me there is going to be about a fifteen minute wait, but feel free to browse the store and they'll call my name. I liked this set-up. Instead of having to stand in line, I was able to browse about the store and look at all the gadgets. I don't know how long the wait actually was, but I didn't feel it was very long at all. As soon as my name was called, I was able to conduct my business in a very fast manner and was out the door. Would recommend this location to anyone, but if you're in a hurry - you may wish to arrive here on a day other than Saturday. read more

Probably the worst verizon store. Employees have no appreciation for customers. You wait forever. They act like you don't even exist. There's always "let me ask my manager" type of thing. Never straight to the point. I had to come here twice, wait in line forever to fix a problem that was their employees fault. It truly has worst customer service ever. Just got off the phone with one of their in store reps. I could tell he was annoyed by my call and was very short and not helpful.

Be careful when you buy extra services from VZW. Sale Reps work on commission and they would often omit information or even lie to you to get the most commission out our your transaction. I recently went to the store to upgrade my phone and left the store with a landline too!! This is because the sales rep. made it seen that I needed the landline ($20) to be able to have 1000 shared global minutes (another $20) with my lines and the landline. I had a feeling I was taken advantaged of so I called cust. service over the phone. I was correct!!! I DID NOT need the landline!! So I returned it just in time to not be locked in a two year contract. I also saved myself $20 extra a month for a landline I do not need. BE CAREFUL! read more

Although Verizon has good cell phone service, they have no customer service which I can not support with my hard earned money... *Sprint* has so far created a positive service culture but I have realized from Verizon that companies like this do not respect or need long term customers.... I came here not to purchase any tech or accessories, but because I was having a problem with my 2 year old galaxy phone. It was freezing up after a year and a half of texting everyday saved up and not ever being deleted. Every time I tried to delete them, my phone turned itself off and the texts never got deleted. I was helped by a few people so I'm sorry if you don't get the recognition you deserve, but the main two that I remember were Jordan and Alan. We decided to factory reset my phone after backing up all my important info to the cloud, and Jordan was extremely careful to make sure my sentimental stuff wasn't lost. Alan was extremely smart and handled all the tech stuff. Overall, the staff here are extremely caring and upfront with you. They don't try to annoyingly sell you any unnecessary things, and they genuinely care about their customers. I even got a call from Jordan when I got home making sure everything worked out well after I left. Amazing people. Definitely out of my way to drive to that location, but I'm making the trip every time. read more

I made an appointment over the phone with this store for 11 am with the impression that they are holding an s7 edge for me. I walked in just before 11 am, wasn't greeted by anyone, and noticed 30 minutes later that someone was checking people in that walked in before me. I asked a rep about my appointment and he mentioned he would check the appointments. 10 minutes pass and I asked why nobody has checked me in despite several representatives taking notice with me, me asking how long the wait is and being ignored and passed over by the representatives. After they finally found a rep to talk to me, and all the details worked out to switch over two numbers from at&t to verizon, they tell me they no longer have the edge I was promised, and would have to get an s7 or wait a week and a half to procure an edge via mail. They had already cancelled my at&t service and left me without an option. They promised I would get the rebate for the bogo offer on the s7 within 8-10 weeks from submitting my rebate form. it has now been 12 weeks, and customer service is telling me it could be another 3 weeks to 6 months before anything is processed. The rep in store (giddeon) switched the phone numbers around in the phones, and listed my address as somewhere in ilinois. Such a joke! This has been by far my worst experience with any phone company to date. I would never recommend them at all. read more

Very poor customer service! Very unwilling to work on an update that was close to being due, but my phone had been broken and needed a replacement just two weeks shy of my due date for an upgrade. They wanted me to pay an extra $120 just for an early upgrade or turn in my current phone. They were unyielding in any way to work with me. I told them that I would go to AT&T after being with them since 2000 (16 years) if my loyalty to them meant nothing, and they said, Ok. The only reason I gave them a one star is for being able to check in, but there again. They were chatting and wasting time on some customers that had nothing better to do with their day than just sit and talk and the conversation was nothing to do with business. The representative was doing nothing to politely hurry them on. I left the store angry and dissatisfied with their rude treatment and lack of good customer service. I called Verizon when I got home and they were very nice and willing to work with me, especially since I had been a loyal and good customer for 16 years. Never delinquent in my bills always upgraded later than the due date until now. They had no issue whatsoever with my early upgrade and no extra fees and no need to turn in my old phone to them. I made a complaint about the manager of this store to them and told them that they better look into it if they want to continue to keep their customers. Poorest customer service that I have had in a very long time. Best customer service by calling in directly to Verizon. I will have my new phone two days. Would've preferred to have it immediately after my hour wait at this store, but at least I saved money that they were trying to swindle out of me. They don't care about their customers at Jordan Landing. It's all about money for them. I give both good reviews and bad. Too bad I could not have given a good 5 star review this time. They need new management or better training. I will not return to this store until they get someone in their to make improvements. I was so excited to buy my first iPhone. I bought a iPhone 8 and it has never ever worked correctly. I have been to the Verizon store twice to fix the many problems with the phone, but when I got home there is a new problem with the phone. I asked to get a replacement and I was told I could mail it in and get a refurbished one in the mail. I asked Verizon if I could upgrade my phone and I was told I could only get half of what I paid for it in credit, the phone was only two weeks old! My phone does not ring, my texts do not ring, my emails erase on their own. Then when I do erase my texts , they come back to my inbox the next day, and today my emails are combining into each other, so half of the email is from one company and the end of the email is from another company. These are emails I have already erased yesterday! Do yourself a favor and do not go to Verizon, especially this location, they will take your money and never help you with your problems with your phone. The store is over staffed and they still can't and won't correct issues with your phone! So sad! read more

James Logan is ruining this store. I had a pleasant experience with Bruce there. A regular sales associate doing his best and the gentlemen did an amazing job. Unfortunately I'm having issues with my phone getting no service. I had called customer service after doing some troubleshooting they advised me to go into a store. Went into the Jordan landing location and talked to Bruce and he was a great guy got my phone working again and said if it happened again to come back. It's started doing it again so I went back in the next day. this time a young lady tried to help but was rather incapable of truly helping me. Out of no where comes mr Logan and begins to tell me in his pretentious pompous attitude that my phone is damaged and he can't do anything for me. Instead of setting proper expectations and introducing himself he just goes off on how I've bent my phone and unless I pay more they can't help. I proceed to tell them that I've been repeatedly told I would be taken care of and he doesn't seem to care about his customer base. I am with Verizon because of the experience and on Friday they completely ruined this for me. A company this big should invest in people that want to help and achieve instead of alienate and disappoint. After Having heard enough of his lack of empathy or professionalism i claimed BS and left. James Logan began to chase after us causing a big scene for the rest of his guests and employees. Outside, yes he chased us outside of the building!!! he proceeded to tell me that he would do this and that and to never go to his store and that he would cancel my service (even though my service doesn't work which was the reason of me going into the store in the first place!) As soon as I turned around he headed back into the store still ranting and raving. Well James Logan has abused his power and betrayed his company's vision. Poor Bruce was going to get some commission from my upgrade 2 new phones and signing another contract. But instead James Logan thought his pride was more important than his co workers livelihood. I will be going to another cell company (yes there's plenty competition in your industry) where my business is more appreciated. Thank you Bruce for your willingness to do a good job and be a model employee sorry you "manager" ruined this for you. A loyal customer lost because of one insecure employee. I will be contacting corporate and making sure they understand that because of this experience not only will I cancel my service but I will be telling all of my customers, friends, & family members about my experience with Verizon and how a simple problem was handled so poorly that a potential upgrade and new contract signed turned into a guaranteed cancellation. These comments are no reflection on Verizon as a company and the awesome service they have rendered to me over the phone. It is about this store. I live with chronic heart failure and I do not live in UT. My brother does and he is the only remaining person in my family. We talk at a minimum of 3 times a week. His phone could no longer get a charge because the place where the charger is connected on the phone had wore out. He is an authorized user on my account. He went into this store and was refused service and told he was not on my account. I called Customer Service and they reminded me of the PIN. I gave it to my brother. He went back to the store to purchase a new phone. He was again denied and told he did not have proper ID and needed another form other than his current drivers license. He had gone to DMV to get an endorsement on his license and they punch a hold in the license. He also had the expired one with him. Again he was turned away. He lives in the mountains and to go to this store is the closest and a considerable drive, not to mention the inconveniences of it all. The ONLY reason we are with Verizon is due to the reception where he lives. So our back is up against the wall. There is no choice. I called the store and asked to speak to the manager. The young woman asked what it was about. I replied, "It is irrelevant and I do not care to repeat myself." She then asked me my name...again, irrelevant. After some time on hold an man got on the line. He was abrupt and did not give his name. This was at 11:45 am PST. It was clear that he had me on speaker phone. I asked him if we were and he said "yes." I requested that he take me off speaker and he said, "I will not." I asked him if there was any one else in the room and his reply was that he was in his office. I asked his name again and he refused...but he demanded to know my name. Given this lack of courtesy and horrible demeanor I told him I would take care of my issues with his store another way and hung up. I called customer service. The rep "Tyler" was amazing. He confirmed that this is a CORPORATE STORE and NOT a Franchise. Tyler was very disappointed. Previously I had been told by Verizon that I could not purchase a phone for my brother over the phone and have it shipped to him. Tyler placed my order after recommending a suitable replacement for my brother. Unfortunately my brother will not be able to have his information transferred from the old one to the new because it requires a piece of equipment only the store has given the age of my brothers phone. After how we has been treated I would not want to subject ourselves to further abuse and inconvenience. Because my brother recently moved, I did not have a current address and had it shipped in care of his previous address. Now he will have to go back to town again this week to pick it up. This makes for 3 trips of 1 1/2 hours each way! Just to buy another phone from a company we would rather not deal with at all. This is not the first time I have experienced a horrible lack of customer service from this company. This was the last straw. If I had another alternative I would have switched long ago. So no more contract and I bought a phone for my brother paid in full with no further obligation. I hope and pray that soon there will be another company to choose from for reliable service. If it was possible to rate this store with NO star, that is what they would have earned. Finally, I spent additional time filing a FORMAL complaint with Verizon Corporate. They are taking this matter very seriously and there will be repercussions for who ever manages this outfit. Mr. Store Manager, I encourage you to start putting out your resume. My 28 daughter with Down syndrome wanted a new phone. Brandon, at the AT&T store in Jordan Landing, was our salesman. First he told me how to fix her old phone. No, Robin wants a new phone. Then he said if we waited a month all phones would be $100 off. No, Robin wants a new phone NOW! He wouldn't help her pick out one, just pointed to a table so she could look. He just didn't want to sell her a phone. Then he wouldn't transfer the information from the old phone to the old phone. In the past every salesman have always done that for me. I went home and tried backing up the old phone on iTunes. Wouldn't work. I tried to register the new phone but couldn't do it. I went back to the store and asked again if he'd help me back it up. Nope, he doesn't do that. I was so very angry and was going to take back the new phone, but my daughter got it running, but we still couldn't transfer the information to the new phone. When our contract runs out we're changing providers. Brandon was not helpful at all and I won't shop there again. read more

I checked in and was told 30 minutes. I was okay with that. After 20 minutes more customers came in and I heard them being told 2 people in front of them. When my 30 minutes came around I was told 2 people were in front of me. I saw a rep help a customer and then sat down and talked to someone who had already been helped. I saw another rep just wondering. The one rep who checked me in knew I wanted to order a phone from an upgrade I could get. HOW LONG DOES THAT TAKE? I left because I was not going to wait another 30 minutes while I had my dog and groceries in the car. A friend had waited at this same location the day before for 1. 5 hours with now help. This is the worst location I have ever visited. They could have signed me up for another 2 years. Currently I don't have a contract and I'm month to month. read more
