Matthew was great at responding in a timely matter answering any question I had. He even worked with me in personalizing my requests to best fit my needs. After I asked about scheduling the service on a certain date I did not hear back from him. Six days go by and I decided to make this a DYI task so I emailed him back letting him know that "Sorry but I would not need the services after all and thanks so much for the help and I'd keep them in mind in the future". The response I recieved was one I was not expecting. It was "Thanks for the 15 wasted emails and my time". In customer service the seller spends great amounts of time explaining the product knowing that the customer still may not purchase from them. That's the way it works! I was appalled to get this response from such a repitable company I will not use them in the future.

I was looking for people with greater experience than Best Buy. Mark got back to me very quickly and we arranged to have Karl visit us for a consultation. Karl listened to all the details of what I wanted in my setup, offering plenty of feedback on what I might expect and need. (He also took a look at my network closet, but I chose not to do anything with it.) By the end, we had probably spent an hour or more together and I got an excellent plan that we decided to go with. When my TV came in, Karl offered to come over ASAP to do the work. He showed up right on time, bringing Jeff along to do the job. They created an entirely clean setup for me, with wires running through the wall, and were able to install electricity and relocate networking cables to accommodate the mounting location. They walked me through the physical setup and the TV settings I would need to consider. During the review of the TV, *they* found a flaw in the screen and immediately let me know that they would handle getting a replacement and be back as soon as it came in. They just completed that work for me today and we went through the same review. Karl and Jeff were both great guys. (We talked horror movies and the quality of blacks in the new tech.) And something more I appreciated: they wore masks while in the house, removed their shoes when they came in, and left my house clean. I will be calling these guys again when I need something done. I trust what they tell me and they deliver on what they say.

We hired All Sides to move us from NC to WY in Oct 2020. It was a big move, but their estimate was…read morelow enough (1 truck - approx $5000 on the high end) where we decided to hire them to do full service instead of just loading and we drive the trucks (not a day goes by that I don't wish to God I could go back and change that decision). I liked the guys we were working with at first, and I am an overly amicable person (to a fault in this case). I bought the crew dinner and lunch during load up's. But it went downhill. I'm going to boil down a long complicated story down to the major points: After 2 complete walkthroughs of our house and garage they insisted everything would fit on one truck, but ended up having to get two trucks. This in part made them leave nearly a day after they were supposed to. My family and I were in TN before we found out they were still at my old house (which we didn't even own at that point) loading things up, and told me they couldn't fit my riding lawn mower, so I had to leave it behind for the new homeowners. Next, we were in Missouri by the time they called me to give me the actual price of the move. DOUBLE of what they had estimated - $10,000 with the promise of "maybe getting it lower." We pull into our new town in Wyoming on the agreed upon date but they're running late so we spent the night in a hotel with the understanding they would be there the next day (Friday). Despite multiple updates saying they were only hours away, they did not arrive until LATE Saturday night (contract said Thursday). They took the entire day on Sunday to unload 2 trucks and had crew that slept in at the hotel which I had to shuttle to my house later in the day. They lost hardware for my kid's bunk bed, permanently damaged our leather couch, broke my computer desk, lost parts to a clock (??), damaged our entertainment center, damaged a computer chair, and scuffed our bed and night stands. THE REAL PROBLEM: At the end they "got the price down" to $8300 ($3300 more that the high end of their estimate), cost us hundreds in additional hotel stays, damaged close to $3,000 in furniture, and made our adventure out west to be stressful as hell. We planned on letting this all go - we paid the final bill, tipped enough for the crew to have pizza in town, all with the understanding that the full insurance we paid for would help recoup the costs.... NOPE to date they never filed the insurance claim and never reimbursed us for the hotels. I hate myself for hiring them.

I had seen too many reviews of movers not showing up after they were booked, and the walk through gave me a sense of security that John and his team were trustworthy individuals. John and his guys were on time and ready to help me move. They were swift in their movements and talked each other through maneuvering my furniture through the crevices of my apartment and new house. Custom Relocations Moving Company was hired to do a household move from Chapel Hill to…read moreFayetteville, they were given the keys to my home to do a walk-through while we were on the phone with them so that we could get a verbal quote before paying them nearly $1,300.00. We also left a very detailed letter in the home explaining exactly what was to come to Fayetteville, mind you that all the boxes had been labeled and only a very small amount of furniture was coming. We had never hired movers before and even helped carry some of the items throughout the house. It wasn't until they left that we noticed we were missing items ...many items. Come to find out, when my previous landlord did the walk-through to look for damages, she found the house a MESS! They had gone through boxes, never brought any of the items from either the shed or the crawl space (which WAS INCLUDED IN THE QUOTE), as it was only a 2 BR APT, and one BR was utilized as an office. We immediately contacted them and they apologized, saying it was an accident and that they would go back to retrieve the items and bring them to Fayetteville. They never showed up. Now they will not answer any phone calls or texts from either myself or my case manager (I am disabled). As the days go on, I am finding more items missing, including items that were my Grandparents and all of my items from my Daughter's childhood (photos, baby book, etc.) ! I am beyond heartbroken at this point, the money is bad enough but to know that I will never get those items back again (my previous landlord did not know what they were, assumed I had trashed the place, left a bunch of items that I didn't want and so she threw them out). Now, I am left with only the memories I have of my Daughter in my head, also my Grandparents. It is very sad that people take advantage of you like this.

Strange situation - I called in the morning and the owner promptly answered. He was helpful and…read moreadvised he could come do my TV Mount around 5PM that day. I was excited to be able to get it done so quickly. At 4PM, he called to advise he was running a bit behind schedule. No problem. At 6PM he called to say he was on his way and was 45 mins. away according to his GPS. Again, no problem for me. I will also note he went on to advise there would be a "travel fee" since I was further away then he typically services. But again, no problem as I was simply glad to have found someone who seemed trustworthy and could do the work same day! Well, he never showed up. I tried calling a few time (left messages) and sent a text message the next day to inquire if he was okay, got lost, etc? No reply. Nothing. Its now over a week gone by, and still no follow up. I simply hope he is ok. At the same time, if this is not the case and he simply chose to "turn around" and cancel my appt. - unprofessional. Sorry, was hoping I could have written a really awesome review, but that is not the case.
