I went there for their Memorial Day sale and this is quite an expensive store but they had a 10% off sale for the whole store. I eagerly went inside and realized that all of their items have been marked up. When I asked a women who worked there if the sale was the cheaper price under the more expensive sticker price she stated that it was 10% off the remarked price. She said they came from their other warehouse, I asked if all the pottery was made in the back studio and she said they had "another studio". There was still no explanation for why everything had the prices marked up JUST for the sale. I am disappointed that they would take advantage of people especially during a holiday that is about respecting and memorializing Americas hero's.

He said he could have it done in a couple weeks, well before her birthday. I left him a piece of paper showing her wrist length. Three weeks later, with a week before her birthday, he called saying the watch bracelet was silver but gold, and asked if we were replacing the battery. This was odd because we had discussed the watch being sterling silver and mechanical. A week later, in her birthday, I called to ask about the watch and learned Tim had not begun it. Later that night he told me he had another solution. I picked it up this morning and found he had drilled holes in the clasp and added a loop to extend it. I expressed some displeasure with this solution because it did not preserve the aesthetic of the watch and he said it would not be visible in her wrist. He also said the measurement I left "didn't help him," and in fact the extension is not long enough for my girlfriend's wrist. Now, after her birthday, I have to find another jeweler to reverse the unauthorized work Tim did and extend the clasp in the way I originally requested.

That being said, I KEEP A JAR FROM EVERY BATCH WE'VE MADE SINCE 2018 AND HAVE YET TO SEE MOLD. Is it possible it was contaminated from water, maybe from wet hands? Why hasn't changed is that this store is awesome and well worth a visit when you're in town. Kari Meutsch and Kristian Preylowski bought the shop in 2017 and expanded its physical footprint. They've added some products (LPs) and expanded their selection of others. And their website offers a variety of options for ordering that are very useful. Mostly, though, this is a great shop to browse, with knowledgeable staff who can help you find what you might want if you don't know for sure. Highly recommended!
