I found a Retroish Mirror for $8 I couldn't leave behind. When I got home, I made sure I cleaned that bad boy thoroughly just to get rid of dust and everything else before hanging up in my Vanity Room. I'll be honest though, I love those hard-to-find clothes and home pieces from the 60s, 70s, 80s and I know I can probably find them here. I just think some of their items are a bit too holly-hobbyish for me. But I know, if I wanted to find another gem and had more time, I'd dig deeper.

They also had a lot of items to choose from that were on sale, which always makes me happy. The women working in both stores were also really helpful in finding things they thought I would like based on what I already had in the dressing room and also just seemed like overall NICE people that appreciated their customers.

With this large stock the aisles are a little crowded, but not a big deal. They carry a lot of well-known brands like Patagonia, Dansk, Carhartt, Nike, Brooks, etc., and in general we found their prices to be a bit below larger outlets. Looking for hoodies, for instance, we found items we had seen priced elsewhere at $49 to be $29 here. We're awfully glad we chose to stop here. And as we walked out we discovered an interesting restaurant across the street (Wooden Soldier) which we are now eager to write about as well.

He was shoving furniture around and near chased us out of the furniture section. Pushing a heavy flat furniture box right at my childs feet nearly knocking her down and right behind my back. I turned around to see her pinned up against large standing piece of furniture. The manager never apologized. He just glared wide-eyed and said "I was watching. I have kids of my own!" This employee should not be working so closely to customers that if they take a step back they are going to get hit by what he is kicking around. Especially near children who often move abruptly and sporadically, especially when frightened. This is a threat to public safety. I will NOT be going there again. And I don't suggest going there with children. It is not a safe place and does not uphold community integrity.

I purchased a vintage watch online as a birthday gift for my girlfriend which was not large enough…read morefor her. I brought it in to Timco and discussed lengthening the clasp. He said he could have it done in a couple weeks, well before her birthday. I left him a piece of paper showing her wrist length. Three weeks later, with a week before her birthday, he called saying the watch bracelet was silver but gold, and asked if we were replacing the battery. This was odd because we had discussed the watch being sterling silver and mechanical. A week later, in her birthday, I called to ask about the watch and learned Tim had not begun it. Later that night he told me he had another solution. I picked it up this morning and found he had drilled holes in the clasp and added a loop to extend it. I expressed some displeasure with this solution because it did not preserve the aesthetic of the watch and he said it would not be visible in her wrist. He also said the measurement I left "didn't help him," and in fact the extension is not long enough for my girlfriend's wrist. Now, after her birthday, I have to find another jeweler to reverse the unauthorized work Tim did and extend the clasp in the way I originally requested.
