I'm extremely impressed with the professionalism of the Vernon location staff. From Aggie, Kristen, and Maureen at the front desk, assistants Tim, Tyler, and Justine, and the physical therapists. I have only directly worked with Rory, with some time with Denise, but you can see how all the PTs treat their patients. All patients are treated with respect in a very friendly, open atmosphere. Personally, I'm thrilled with the effectiveness of my therapy and the responsiveness of my therapist, Rory. I'm supported, encouraged, listened to, and most importantly, I'm healing! The facilities are modern, clean, and well maintained. There is ample parking in a safe location. Having Rein's Deli and a Chinese restaurant right there, as well as a used book store, a consignment shop and a several other shops in the plaza is a plus if you're well enough.

Her level of expertise and experience was truly remarkable--she carefully assessed, adjusted, and fine-tuned dosages with a level of attention that went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. Over the following days, she continued to observe closely and thoughtfully refine her approach, which gave us tremendous confidence in my sister's care. On day one, the physical therapy team completed a comprehensive evaluation and quickly honed in on exactly where my sister needed support. Their ability to identify and target the right areas has already helped move her toward improved mobility at a higher level. It was clear from the start that they are focused, skilled, and genuinely invested in her progress. This stood in contrast to one of our prior concerns at Woodlake at Tolland, where we felt there was overmedication and a lack of direct, personal interaction with medical staff. At Fox Hill, the system feels well-organized, proactive, and centered around the individual. The overall atmosphere here is exceptional. I spent two difficult weeks there after an accident that left me wheelchair bound and needing…read morephysical therapy. The room I was given was used as a store room for other equipment. The food was disgusting and the breakfast "eggs" gave me such diarrhea that I actually had an accident in the doctor's office during my first visit post-surgery. There was one very nice and dedicated nurse but the rest were dismissive and all but two of the aides acted as if I was an inconvenience. I will say that the therapists were very good but also very overbooked. Only 30 minutes of therapy Monday through Friday and none on the weekend. The medical "staff" if you could call it that was seen via a cell phone link except for the nurse practitioner who was pretty much useless. They were also out of network even though the facility was supposedly in network.

The semi-private rooms are too small for 2 patients and lacking in appropriate furnishings i.e. no guest chairs and no closets, except a rocket wardrobe. The bathrooms are sad. My friend filled out her meal orders, but was never given the items she ordered. We couldn't figure out what her meal was supposed to be. It did not look or smell appealing. She mostly ate cold cereal and snacks that we brought for her. My friend rang for assistance, but no one stopped into her room to see what she wanted. Good thing it wasn't an emergency. My friend said the physical therapist was nice. The front desk receptionist was polite and helpful. I don't know why the state of Connecticut allows this place to stay open. Disgusting.

We made it work and arrived for 9:30 only to see his appointment was changed to 10am. I know mistakes happen and I'm pretty forgiving of business. However the woman that I asked about why his appointment was shifted was rude and condescending. She never offered a simple apology for the lack of organization on their end to get appointments correct in the first place. The therapist (a different woman) was great. However, I would be hesitant to return.

I've been in for 2 back issues although I can't say the therapy cured the ailments (two surgeries…read moredid), it certainly relieved some of the pain and made my body more mobile. The therapists are extremely knowledgeable in their field of joints and pains and understand the best stretches and exercises needed to comfort an aggravated area. Hired me the same day without any experience but told me I'd have to take an online exam & an 8 hr training session. Was sent to a client a few days later with no training. Turns out the client was expecting a nurse, which I am not, and already has a companion 5 days a week. They also gave me a wrong show up time & didnt know client was extremely hard of hearing. They never had the courtesy to call me back when I left them a message asking them to so so nor did they apologize to the client. When I called to see if they received my msg, they said yes. So why didn't you call me liked I asked? Instead of taking ownership of their mistake , they tried to blame it on the client who had all her cognitive skills. AAHC is downright rude & definitely a fly- by-night LLC operating with no experience or compassion. They should turn their 2 room basement operation into a debt collection LLC.

After a recent setback to my knee recovery, I had to go back to them for another month in the fall. It's safe to say, I spent a great deal of time at this facility in 2018. I could not be happier with the treatment I received from them. Even though my treatments were very difficult and sometimes painful, I looked forward to every single visit. I was actually sad when I "graduated" and was well enough to stop going for treatments. Not to be all sappy, but they became more than just the people helping me with my stupid knee. They became friends. The staff are knowledgeable, professional and very creative in their approach. Every patient that goes there is made to feel like a top priority. In my opinion, you cannot find a better PT facility than Integrated Rehab in Vernon.
