After double booking, they did not suggest a solution for perhaps finding out if there was another room available. When the owner called upon my request I brought up that I was dissatisfied with our communication that we have had so far, and the lack of response in finding a potential room to stay in. This conversation ended with him swearing at me and calling me a "bitch". Please note that I did not behave in a manner to warrant this kind of abuse and that I did not swear throughout all of our conversations. I believe this is incredibly unprofessional and unacceptable behavior and based on this response I would not recommend this location to anyone. I will not be staying at this B and B in the future.

Kinda weird arrival. I like that the baggage claim area is small. They have a couple restaurants (including a Tim Horton) and a rental car desk and then check in is just around the corner. Walking to the rental car pick up wasn't too bad, and the rental car people were surprisingly nice. Welcome to Canada I guess. When it's dark, it's a little hard to see the rental car sign that tells you where to drive to drop off rental cars. The process of parking in the right stall and dropping off the key was easy enough. Air Canada check in should have been easy, but for some reason, our United booking didn't match up to the AC booking, but that's a different story. On our flight out of Kelowna, I was surprised to see that there are like 8 "gates" with 2 ish seating areas. I can see how it can get congested easily if there are multiple flights. We happened to be on the first flight out for the day so security and the waiting area weren't too crowded yet. We got to the airport at 4am for our 6am flight. None of the stores or eateries open until 4:30, so there was a long line for food and coffee at 4:40.

We had some car trouble and the folks across the way were great trying to help us but In the end it was the host again who saved the day. What a wonderful Father's Day get away. Many of us rented about 7 cabins all next to each other, and it was like a block party where all your friend live together. The staff here is really nice and they're very personable and chill. But they're a bit lacking on things like trail maps and other guest amenities. Their one canoe was out of commission, and they only had two single kayaks for rent. They didn't know too much about hiking in the area either - turns out there is a trail that kind of loops around. Not a huge deal, but this definitely seems more like a place you come fully prepared (most people had their own boats, water equipment, etc.). There is free Wi-Fi in and around the office. None in the cabins. The cabins all have a beautiful lake view and are great. They have pots and pans, but don't have anything like cooking oil, tin foil, salt & pepper, etc. You need to bring all that on your own. Ours did have one bag of marshmallows (randomly). Our cabin (#39) had a really nice back that ended up being a communal hang out space for a lot of wedding guests. You do also have to bring your own bedding or rent it for $20. We did that and had a bed bug scare (my boyfriend got 3 bites in a line on his back on Saturday night, and the on his neck on Sunday night). No one else experienced anything like this. We got home and systematically boiled everything in our luggage and our apartment wasn't infested.

We had a horrible experience with this place and it's manager. The kitchen was so unsanitary, it…read morewas disgusting. The fridge we were assigned was clearly broken and stunk so bad we were gagging. The fridge they use for our breakfast in the morning was covered in stains and had mouldy food. There was a mouldy half eaten potato patty under one fridge! We even saw a couple of earwigs in the kitchen. The beds were covered in small black hair and had stains on the pillow cases. Needless to say we left right away, there was no one to talk to, but we erased the checks beside our name for breakfast. We contacted booking.com straight away to cancel and tell the owners we canceled. The owner has still charged us, which I understand this is a business. But he was swearing and screaming at us on the phone, saying we slept in the bed and used the showers and that they had cooked breakfast for us in the am. He then told Booking.com that he never charged us. He is very unprofessional, a liar, and keeps very unsanitary conditions. Please book elsewhere. We booked here because all the reviews said it was clean and pleasant, which was absolutely the opposite of the experience we had.
