Not clear why such a vehicle should be any more costly to customers than any tow truck, painter's van, exterminator truck or sewer pump , but a non-emergency trip to our home for a pre-scheduled service call was $275. Labor and materials on top of that. An emergency call in December 2026 was north of $600. In neither case were we in a position to take the problem to their permanent location, short of removing the front door from the house. Also, be sure and nail down whether the work they perform has a warranty. We stupidly did not.

Arriving at the storage locker after a four hour drive only to discover that you inexplicably brought the wrong padlock key was practically demoralizing. As my dad and I sat in the Wendy's parking lot eating lunch inside our sunk-cost U-Haul (an unquestionably sorry looking scene), we attempted to try and accept our looming fate -- returning empty handed, the time and money wasted, dreading whatever other Saturday we'd need to commit to accomplish the task. I'd just finished reading through multiple random internet forums discussing just how impenetrable this particular lock we had would be to break, and had the fleeting thought to reach out to a locksmith. Seeing as it was Saturday afternoon and Litchfield is a small town, I figured if someone could even come out to begin with, it'd run us, oh.. $300? More?
