Very, very poor experience with this firm. I spent 30 minutes speaking with the owner and detailing some of the projects that I wanted to tackle with moving back into our primary residence which had been rented out. He seemed attentive and the next steps were to have him go to the house to measure and preview things. I never heard from him again. His office did call to let me know that they were going to go to the house and after they had been there to measure I never heard back from them in any shape or form. Totally ghosted me and I had several large projects on my list that I thought would be right up their alley. No worries. I found another company and things went smoothly and I have several projects scheduled and materials already secured and purchased. Silver lining that they never called back, but totally unprofessional. I found it really odd that the owner of the company would not email, or text me after a 30 minute project review but have the company rep communicate with me instead. That is a first for me and I have done dozens of jobs on multiple rentals and primary residences over the years. read more

I feel very lucky to have had Veron Builders and Boulder Design Group assist with a full remodel of my kitchen and two bathrooms. Tom and his team executed a fairly complicated historic restoration/total remodel/upgrade for my wife and I over the latter part of 2020 into 2021 (new everything bathrooms x2 / kitchen x2 / electric / plumbing / windows / drywall etc etc). The scope of the project was significant, and they were able to adapt, adjust, and most importantly communicate challenges/opportunities along the way. We were able to customize everything in the home and they were gracious in accommodating last minute changes and thoughtful when making recommendations. Their assistance with the design components of the home was truly valuable, as this was the first time we'd taken on a project of this nature and it was significant. Because of the lead up to the project (as we had engaged him well prior to the actual 'ground-breaking') Tom had the first few phases mapped out and planned which contributed tremendously to the project's success. He allocated a significant amount of manpower and resources to achieve the desired timeline for completion, which I know from working with clients on their projects, is a rarity. Overall we are tremendously pleased and appreciative for what he has done for our Chautauqua home in bringing it back to her former glory. We had solicited bids from 3 builders and are so glad we went with Veron because they did a super job remodeling our 3 bathrooms. The owner Tommy was hands on throughout the process, provided the most thorough detailed proposal, and truly cared about getting the project done on time and with high quality. More importantly, Chris our project manager was excellent. He was onsite every day either to do the work or supervise the subcontractors. He had amazing attention to detail and kept everything moving ahead even when there were hiccups with supplies due to COVID. He also was great about keeping everything as clean as possible throughout the whole project. We also appreciate the design support that Veron provided which was very reasonably priced compared to what others in the design world charge. All in all the bathrooms look awesome and we are very happy with the look and quality of the final product. I have already referred Veron to others and suggest you add them to your consideration set. Appointment was missed by their PM with an email apologizing after I sent an email asking for a reschedule. No reschedule or communication back from them other than another email to contact them (?). We began a kitchen makeover in June. We hired Veron Builders, but initially worked with the Handyman side of the business because it wasn't an extensive remodel. We were initially frustrated because our point guy was not very communicative on timelines and things were dragging out far longer than anticipated. Things turned around when he left the company and we began to work directly with Tom. Tom immediately kicked our project into high gear and made sure to correct any issues that occurred before his involvement. He is easy to communicate with and truly cares about the quality of work completed under his watch. When out project was mostly complete we were still waiting on a part to complete our vent hood install. He was happy to come back months later (when the part finally came in) to install it for us. This was after we had already paid out and I could imagine a company with less integrity ignoring my messages as there was no monetary incentive to come back out. We are so happy with how our kitchen has been transformed and would absolutely recommend Veron Builders for your remodel needs. We will be remodeling our basement/laundry room in the future and we hope to hire Veron Builders again. read more
