However, will go to the smaller stores 1st because of the people. In smaller they will talk and joke and take time to answer your questions and are just more personable. Route 66 has no personality at all. I actually feel embarrassed when I have to ask a question. Route 66 is a nice store with everything you should need for anything outdoors but wear a jacket. It's cold in there.

My husband just spent 15 minutes waiting at the counter to check out with both of the individuals…read moreworking there making eye contact with him and neither one going to the cash register to cash him out. He ended up leaving his row by rows on the counter and walking out. I had a similar experience last year where I waited ONE HOUR for the one person working to stop talking to the customer in front of me and ring me out. I deliberately waited to see how long it would take them to do it. They have a great selection of fabric and might sell it if they were so inclined.
