Their meats are exceptional and the prices are fantastic I always travel home with coolers packed. The steaks are my favorite full of flavor great on the grill! I love the old world charm of this family business. You can also pick up some Clark's donuts with your morning coffee. They carry just about everything you'll need while camping in the region it's situated very close to a lot of the surrounding campgrounds and isn't that far off a drive into cooks forest. While he did some work at Michelle's Cafe across the street, (great coffee and free wifi!), I dodged a few rain drops to do some some shopping. Main Street Emporium can be found inside Dan Smith's Candies (https://www.yelp.com/biz/dan-smiths-candies-and-gifts-clarion?hrid=PcJVc3SHwlsRnHN9fUcaYg). When you enter the candy store, the Emporium is straight ahead and all the way to the back, both upstairs and downstairs, with more merchandise located on the upstairs level. This is a store comprised of a variety of independent seller stalls, selling mostly second-hand goods. The store isn't huge, but was bigger than I expected it to be upstairs, with a couple unforeseen turns into a few different spaces on the second level. The range of seller booths contain a mishmash of antiques, decoratives, toys, games, collectibles, crafts, housewares, fashion accessories, jewelry, apparel, books, artwork, and a little bit of everything in between. There is even a live houseplant seller! That was a first; I have not seen live plants in this kind of store before. One of my purchases was a lovely potted spider plant for just five bucks! I also found an authentic Russ Troll for five bucks that had a shirt on that said "40 is not old if you are a tree."--this was perfect to go with my turning-40-brother's bingo bag gift I got him for his birthday! One oddball thing I always look for when I'm in a store like this too are topless mermaid figurines--and I found one for a buck! (Yes, they must be topless, because as a woman I know how ridiculous it would be to wear an uncomfortable seashell bra all day, and am certain a mermaid would never do such a preposterous thing, haha.) To round it out, we got a nice pile of vintage sci-fi books for two bucks a piece, something my husband and I collect. We found some great titles, including the full "The Fuzzies" trilogy! Checkout for the Emporium is the same counter as Dan Smith's Candies. If you are buying both Emporium goods and candies/gifts from Dan's, the friendly counter staff will ring you out at the same place. I had a really nice time rainy-day-perusing the shelves at Main Street Emporium. When we're back in the Clarion PA area, I'd surely stop in again to see what's new!

We purchased our hardwood floors for our house from the Hardwood Mall and we couldn't be happier…read morewith that decision. We chose red oak and asked to allow as much character as possible since the floors would be in a log cabin and we hoped to get a lot of knots and holes since we weren't able to afford reclaimed wood. We also paid to have saw marks and contour sanding on the wood. The wood came with a ton of knots and wormholes and, after the Rubio oils were applied, we think they look a lot like reclaimed wood anyway. We were lucky and the guys from the Hardwood Mall agreed to install our floors for us and we were so glad we had them do it. They work with the wood everyday, they have installed floors for other people so knew what they were doing, and they were actually cheaper than our contractor was going to be to install cheaper floors. The customer service was great - it's a family owned place and the guys were always very friendly, quick to respond to communication, and helped us to choose the right mix of oils for the floors. Highly recommend.
