On the wedding day, Jonathan was incredibly prepared and professional. His equipment and setup helped everything transition seamlessly from the ceremony to cocktail hour and then into the reception. But what really stood out was his ability to read the room and create exactly the atmosphere we had hoped for. One of my biggest wedding-day fears was that no one would dance, and Jonathan completely put that fear to rest! His energy had our guests ready to dance before it was even officially time to hit the dance floor. Once the reception started, the dance floor was packed all night and only cleared when the night was over and we were literally being sent home! He perfectly blended our love of house music with songs that would get guests of all ages on the dance floor. He understood exactly what we were looking for musically while still knowing how to keep the entire room engaged. My almost 77 year old grandma was sore the next day because she literally danced all night long! Jonathan played such a huge role in making our reception so much fun and memorable. Without batting an eye, Sheldon quickly added my last minute song choice and ensured everything ran smoothly the day of the wedding. He seamlessly MC'd and kept the music bumping throughout the night so there was still a crowd at the very end. Friends told us they thought the DJ was amazing and that they had never seen guests enter the dance floor so quickly and pack the area. Dan provided the music for both our ceremony and reception, and everything was absolutely perfect. But the perfection began much earlier than the night of our wedding. Throughout the entire process of our wedding planning, Dan was available to meet with us as many times as we wanted and was always available via phone or email. Not only did Dan walk us through every step of the process, but he patiently helped us choose the perfect songs for all parts of our entire night by suggesting different songs/themes based on our preferences and personalities. The last thing I want to comment on is that Dan provided uplighting free of charge for us. When he came to Willowdale, he noticed that it might be a bit better if some uplighting was added. Dan took the initiative to add this for us, and it made the entire reception that much better. Dan was professional and cooperative with song requests, and made sure to keep the flow of the reception going. I could go on and on about Dan's professionalism and genuine care in order to make our wedding the best night of our lives. But all I will say is that even today, almost 5 months after our wedding, our guests are still raving about the music and the ambiance of the wedding. Without Dan, our wedding would not have been nearly as extravagant. Honestly, you don't have to look anywhere else for a wedding DJ. The DJ said he'd escalate it to Rishi, but we never heard anything back or even got an apology. Setup was also a mess -- Rishi told us on our call they'd start around 7am - 7:30am, but when we got to the venue around 8am nobody was there yet. The DJ texted later saying he'd arrived, but that was well past 8. Because of this the Baraat got delayed and had to be cut short. Energy the whole time was flat. You could barely hear the music during the Baraat in our videos, and the DJ didn't really try to hype up the crowd at all. The monogram was another headache -- we were told 2-3 weeks and kept getting "don't worry, it's coming." We asked multiple times to see options before picking one, but instead we were basically forced into accepting the test version they sent over the day before the wedding, with no real chance to choose. I made basically the same design myself with AI in under an hour, so I don't know what the holdup was. On top of all that, communication was a constant struggle. We sent our song list with timing ahead of time and were still getting asked what to play and when on the actual wedding day. Overall one of the worst vendor experiences we've had, especially for a day that's supposed to be stress-free.
