Well after visiting 3 Marshalls and a TJ Maxx within two days this one wins for friendliness and customer service. We visited an hour before they closed last night and as soon as we walked in the door they had a greeter standing there to welcome us. And it was a genuine greeting, not like the sad WalMart one. As I walked through even the manager smiled and asked how I was doing tonight! That has never happened in my years of visiting Marshalls! Even during the checkout just before they closed the cashier was laughing with us and joking around. Seriously the happiest Marshalls in town! Oh and yeah the selection there rocked as usual.

Well I was planning to buy one of these online but it was $40! Here it's $16

I love Marshall's! They always have the cutest things and although you think you'll go in to purchase one or two things, you'll walk out with a FULL CART! I know I do every time, and no exception today. Plus this location was featuring the spring yoga collection. I was very pleased with the size of their selection and the variety that they offered. I'm sure everyone's in full force getting their body in shape for the spring/summer vacations and this Marshall's has great workout gear. From yoga pants being as low as $9.99 and as seen on TV workout gadgets as little as $16.99. I found the twister abs board and what a find it was. Because online the price is $40.00 so this is a steal. The reason they received four stars for this location is the cleanliness of the store. The front of the store looked great but it wasn't consistent throughout the store. Usually Marshall's keep their store looking nice but this wasn't the case for this location.

    These racks rock...

The weather was sketchy so I didn't think it would be too crowded but that was a bad call. The parking spaces are WAY too small! Larger SUV's taking two spaces & you can't blame them. I got to the store & made the exchange & got out of there PDQ!

Review for Charlotte Premium Outlets…read more After relocating to Charlotte from the San Francisco Bay Area, I've kept my same philosophy about shopping: retail prices are optional if you're willing to do a little homework. I'm always looking for quality and value without paying unnecessary markups, and this outlet center has been a very reliable place to find both. I needed professional clothing, shoes, and luggage for work, so I made the drive out here--and I found everything I needed in one trip. One of my best purchases was a beautiful piece of luggage from Travelpro at a great price. Many of the stores also offer additional discounts if you sign up for their rewards programs, which can make the savings even better. Stores I frequent most: * Banana Republic * J.Crew * Ann Taylor * LOFT * Saks Off 5th * Old Navy (very large location with great basics) * Le Creuset -- always fun to browse, even if just window shopping If you have the time to look carefully and shop strategically, you can really find high-quality items here at excellent prices. My personal shopping strategy: * I avoid weekends whenever possible * I park near the Saks entrance, especially along the back row where it's easier to remember where you parked * I shop during off-hours for a calmer, more efficient experience Parking overall is plentiful, and the layout is easy to navigate once you learn your preferred entry point. Another thing I appreciate is the atmosphere. In my experience, the staff across stores have been knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. The overall vibe feels practical and approachable--people are there to shop, not to show off. There are also plenty of restaurants and fast-casual options nearby, so it can easily become a full outing. If you're planning a larger shopping trip, using store hold or will-call services can be a smart way to keep your purchases secure while you continue browsing. As someone who pays attention to value and cost of living, I've found shopping in North Carolina--and the Southeast in general--to be refreshingly affordable compared to the West Coast. That difference alone makes places like this especially worthwhile. Bottom line: Easy parking, strong value, and a wide selection of reliable brands. If you shop strategically and avoid peak times, this outlet center can be a very productive and enjoyable place to find quality items at fair prices.

Situated at the northwest corner of the intersection of South Tryon Street and Steele Creek Road, it's anchored by a well-appointed Publix Super Market that sets the tone for the entire plaza. Directly across the street lies the much larger RiverGate Shopping Center, but this smaller complex holds its own with a curated mix of food, retail, and essential services. At one end, Five Guys offers its signature burgers and fries, joined by Marco's Pizza for a local slice, and Five Below for budget-friendly finds. You'll also find Brazilian Wax for personal care, Masa Sushi for fresh rolls and bento boxes, and Greco Fresh Grille serving up Mediterranean fare. The center includes a tanning salon, a nail salon, a chiropractic office, and a tax preparation center making it easy to tackle errands and self-care in one stop. Outbuildings house a Walgreens pharmacy and a Wells Fargo branch, rounding out the essentials with health and banking services. Access is smooth, with a traffic light entrance from South Tryon and an easy exit onto Steele Creek Road heading north. The parking lot is spacious and well-lit, with plenty of security lights that make evening visits feel safe and welcoming. Whether you're grabbing dinner, running errands, or just browsing, this center continues to grow into a well-rounded community hub. [Review 1293 of 2025 - 4438 in North Carolina - 24845 overall]

Mrs. K. calls it, "Where shopping is displeasure." Sure, it's low class customers who abandon stuff on shelves, who don't know how to walk down an aisle with a cart, and who leave trash in the parking lot. And then there are many associates who truly don't care. Management either does not care or is unable to fix it. At this point, I only come here for the handful of things that I can't get at Costco, ALDI, or LIDL, or the stuff that Public charges twice as much for. And there are certain things I absolutely will not buy at Walmart, especially anything fresh or anything with an expiration date. I have seen too many items on the shelf that are about to expire or they end up going back as soon as I get them home. Today's trip was just baking goods and canned goods, the shelf stable stuff that Walmart cannot really mess up but Publix charges a premium for. We also needed dog biscuits since the Chewy order is two weeks out and we are running low. Would you believe that they moved the pet department to god knows where and did not bother updating the signage? Checkout was its own adventure. We had ten things on the belt when the register went down. The customer ahead of us had already finished their transaction, lost the whole sale, and had to pull everything out of the bags to rescan it. We switched to another register and ended up behind guys paying with one hundred dollar bills. They were old bills, so the cashier had to walk them over to a manager for approval. What is a thirty minute pop in at every other store on our list turned into nearly ninety minutes of hassle. I will keep shopping here, but as rarely as possible and only for the stuff I cannot get at Costco, ALDI or LIDL and only when Publix wants twice the price. I used to work at a full line Nordstrom years ago, so I know quality when I see it. That's why I love the Rack because you can always expect good brands at better prices than you'd find at the full line store. To some people, Nordstrom Rack still feels a little pricey for a discount store, but you really have to compare it to the original full line price tags. I live in the NoDa area, and I will say this location was a bit farther out than I expected, about 25 minutes from my house. I was honestly surprised that there isn't a Nordstrom Rack closer to the city. This one is more on the outskirts, which is fine, but it does make quick trips or exchanges a little less convenient. Yes, you can return items at the full line Nordstrom, but sometimes you just want to browse and see what's new. Parking here was easy, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Coming from Houston and then Florida, I wasn't used to seeing so many coats in stock, so that actually caught my attention. They had a big winter selection, and I ended up leaving with a super cute trench coat, a puffer jacket, and a couple of other cold weather pieces since I know Charlotte winters are going to be colder. The staff was about as friendly as you'd expect at a Nordstrom Rack, but they moved quickly, and the checkout line wasn't long. Overall, this location was consistent with the other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. No surprises, just the usual dependable Rack experience. I'd definitely return.
