All the way down the line, these guys were just not honest people. I suggest you get references from local people and find an honest contractor to do your work.

Only Apex was able to accommodate our work schedules and meet me after I got home from work. James came to our house to give us a quote, and spent the next hour plus to review the work Apex does and the products they use. He also showed us the entire process in videos he had on his phone. We cancelled our other roofing quote appointments and scheduled the work with Apex that evening, and it took place the next week. They encountered more problems than anticipated, they stuck it out and completed the job in two days, even though they were scheduled for just one. Once they were finished the work, they cleaned everything up and moved our deck furniture back to where it was before they started the work (as an aside, our deck has never been so clean). Threw down shingles that slapped against the house (didn't put a tarp down against the house) and left black marks all over the side of house. Had another major issue with an original area that prompted me to call them originally. Didn't address the original problem and shingled right over it leaving the same unsightly appearance. When asked why this wasn't addressed and fixed at the time of laying the shingles son and father team gave poor excuses and kept absolving themselves from any responsibility. Did offer to fix it at a cost over 2,000. to "fix" it. Question was why didn't they address it before replacing the shingles! Avoided direct answer and kept repeating pat answers. Result: It looks as bad as it did before the roofing was done! Totally unacceptable to charge me over 15,000 and leaving me extremely stressed over this!
