STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCAM UNIVERSITY ::: April 22, 2026 I contacted the financial services employee…read moreI had previously communicated with multiple times during my admission at chamberlain university. I contacted him this day due to not receiving any information about my FAFSA (whether I would receive aid or not.) He replied that it would be early May before they would have my FAFSA results. I replied again asking if he was the right person to be contacting for this information or if it needed to be someone else. I got no response. On May 7th, 2026, (early May) I contacted him again to ask how I would receive the information about my FAFSA. He replied that it would now be the end of May before they knew any information about FAFSA, and said it was due to the "big beautiful bill." I continued to wait, while being enrolled in what I knew were my last two courses before I gained my bachelors degree. JUNE 2nd, I had heard nothing still and contacted him again. No response. June 24th I receive a threatening email from the school financial department about my balance. It stated to reply to the email. I replied. NO RESPONSE. June 25th I receive another threatening email again from the financial department. I reply AGAIN, NO RESPONSE. June 26th I attempted to contact the employee that assisted me with being admitted to chamberlain, she had always been responsive. NO RESPONSE from her either. June 30th, I receive another threatening email from the financial department. (I HAVE NOW FINISHED AND GRADUATED AT THIS POINT.) I again reply to the email address it specifically told me to reply to inside the email. It was returned "message failure / mailer Damon." I send another email but at this point I am fed up. I call a 1800 for chamberlain. When a woman gets on the phone she tells me that she can't see my FAFSA at all and now it's too late for me to do anything about it. I said IVE BEEN TRYING TO HANDLE THIS SINCE APRIL 22ND!!!! No cares given. She forwarded my complaint to someone else whom I have not spoken with yet. When I returned the call I spoke with another employee who could not help and only wanted to forward me to a different department. I sat on hold 34 minutes, left a voicemail, AND HAVE STILL NOT HAVE NOT BEEN CONTACTED BACK.

She's an experienced nurse and doesn't hesitate to share the good and bad side to mold us in this career. She teaches so much more than the text book and thats what makes her so unique. She also teaches us in a way that makes it easy to understand the material. I have gained so much knowledge within this short period of time. I'll definitely recommend the school and all. Thank you Ms Candice

I went through this top notch program a few years ago when my Dad suffered a debilitating stroke…read more Completely prepared me for the home health environment. Their holistic approach equips you with the know how as well enabling you with the professional compasion to provide exemplary patient care. Their program gave me the credentials needed to land a great job at a physical rehabilitation hospital even though I lacked clinical experience. The program also gave me a complete foundation to build toward an RN-BSN. I would highly recommend the program at Career Training Center of Chicago. It's afforadble - with flexible payment options. It's a concise, concentrated program that will get you quickly into the medical field. It's in depth, high quality, and comprehensive which will put you a cut above other CNAs. And it provides a great foundation to build from if you wish to pursue nursing or other allied health fields. They easily earn 5 stars.

...everything…read more communication between students and administrators for one. administrators act as if they are a "boss" I have many complaints of bullying from people tand they ignore all of them I have never been granted an audience of listeners, and the only ears created their own unfair, biased, and wrong perceptions to my situation. Please read other reviews, they are ALL negative The Director of Student Engagement Aaron School (ironically not with the university any longer) bullied me to my face ... I have proof, but it is all ignored I complained and Monica in the Provost office wrote a letter full of lies ... my former Advisor quit and nobody cared to inform me Both the Provost and President ignore me THOSE WHO ARE GUILTY IGNORE Now I contact the Board of Trustees If the Trustees fail to do the right thing, then we know this IS NOT a Christian environment...it isn't based on the abuse applied to my life by everyone mentioned and many more

They are very strict and have an exam average of 81%; however they only enforce it for some students and not all. This is a great school for whites and Asians not black or hispanic friendly those students fail out the program a lot. Consider going to ELMHURST, ROSALIND FRANKLIN, OR MARQUETTE. You have been warned I have seen people travel far and wide from all over the country to flunk out. The DEMSN program is a pure scam I got kicked out and was on the border of my exam grade with an 80% do not go here its stressful and for white people.

If I had to pick between being a crack whore and a student at this place, selling myself for crack…read morewould be a much better venture. As a student at this hell-hole, I not only found out why this school gets bad reviews from former students and graduates, but realized how poor of an education I received. The good reviews here are paid people hired by the campus to give it good ratings and paint a rosy picture of what a mess this school is. Just to be concise here are the main reasons: 1. All the homeworks and study guides given do not help with the tests or exams given. 2. The teachers are so disorganized and when we point out why we don't do well at their exams we are blamed for not studying and working hard enough. 3. The main coordinators of the Med Surg and pharmacology classes are in such good standings with the Dean, that any flaws (major ones like a majority of their students not passing the NCLEX) are brushed aside. They will never face any consequences for they are infallible to the Dean. 4. The graduates of this school have very poor success rate in passing the NCLEX exams (look up Illinois license for nurses accreditation) 5. Not a lot of learning happens in this school because we are given very little time to between the lectures given and the periods of time the exams are given to us. 6. Our grades and our exams suspiciously change either for the worse or for the better. And when we inquire why this is so, we are not given any answers. 7. They don't give us back our tests so we don't know why we did so poorly or so well on the exams. They don't give it back mainly because the teachers are so lazy to make a new exam so that it would not be copied by a former student and be used for the next class. 8. They take pleasure in seeing us fail because they make more money if we take a class twice rather than taking it once. 9. Very low NCLEX passing scores. 10. On probation from the Illinois Accreditation for the 5th year as I write this. Why is this scam of a place still around. I would assume that before they lose their accreditation they will just change their name to "Creek Point Uni" "Go Smoke Some Crack and Go Here Uni". And these are the reasons why I would sell myself for crack than go to this scam of an institution.

They want to be successful. There is lots of staff members that can help you out from professors to peers. During orientation, they do explain what courses will be taken, materials needed, what to expect, and who to see if you have issues. The school has a simulation lab that really impressed me. It was very open, clean, and lots of equipment for hands on skills. There is a cafeteria downstairs, library, and a 24 hour student lounge. This program does provide night and weekend courses which not many universities do. There is a 24 hour security and they will offer to walk to your car in the evening if it seems sketchy. There is free parking for students. Wink wink. Overall, I really enjoy the friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic staff. I hope that this stays consistent throughout the program.

This has become my home away from home the past few years. I attended UIC for my graduate degree…read moreand have learned to love most of the oddities that make it who it is. I have met some amazing people from this school and have had an array of professors, some who have changed my learning and life for the best and others who have given me ceaseless nightmares. I'll give a tiny rundown on UIC, although if you are seriously searching for colleges, I hope you consider looking beyond Yelp for pros/cons. Strengths: It's somewhat affordable. Have a great gym, wide array of student services including campus care, events, therapy, and a student center. Usually can get in touch with someone after multiple emails. Well known by employers. Accessible and proximate to downtown. They have a library. Building new dorms/updating some of the buildings. Weaknesses: Parking is very difficult unless you buy the monthly pass. Some of the buildings are outdated, although they are trying to update these. Some of the advisors are not so helpful. Side note: I did not review my specific program as this listing is for the campus/school itself.

This school has to be a joke and it's clearly not veteran-friendly. I submitted my application for…read morethe Ph.D. program in Computer Science for the Spring semester. I wasn't requesting any type of funding since my VA education benefits cover my tuition. My goal was simple: to enroll and continue my education. Out of nowhere, I received an email from a professor at 8 a.m., stating I needed to respond by 11 a.m. the same day regarding a potential RA position. Unfortunately, I didn't see the message in time and missed that last-minute deadline. Despite this, the professor mentioned he was still interested in hiring me and encouraged me to reach back out in August for the Fall term. Here's what doesn't make sense: because I missed a same-day response window for a funding opportunity I didn't even request, my entire application for Spring admission was declined and I was told to reapply in the Fall. As a veteran using my earned benefits, this feels completely unfair. I wasn't asking for a handout or financial assistance just the opportunity to pursue my education. If I had known their admissions process worked like this, I would've chosen another school months ago. Veterans deserve better.
