I just read the scathing YELP review and it upsets me when people can so easily write something that terrible ...it usually comes deep from within, the anger, the insults...and so, in retaliation, I will write my own review about VERVE WELLNESS. It will be a long one, but I hope to convey how MUCH of a POSITIVE DIFFERENCE Dr. Warkentin and his clinic have made for my family and myself! 15 years ago, Dr. Warkentin was introduced to my family and I first as a friend. As we got to know each other, and seeing the passionate Doctor that he was already back then, my husband and I decided to trust him with the chronic ear infections our youngest daughter continued to suffer with, regardless of the specialists we had just see who promised that with surgery all would be healed. Well, to make a long story short, after listening to Dr. Warkentin we went through the treatments and within a month, our 3 year old no longer suffered from ear infections, she no longer needed to depend on the antibiotics that were prescribed to her! She is now 18 and we cannot remember the last time she had an ear infection. As for our oldest daughter, Dr. Warkentin had noticed at one point her posture, so he had X-rays done and just as he suspected she had scoliosis. I was treated at the age of 14 for such issues, and I was not looking forward to this diagnosis with our daughter; I remember 2 years of excruciating therapy, a metal brace and so on. Well, not so for her because Dr. Warkentin patiently treated our daughter for over two years and I can say now at the age of 20 she is a young, healthy brilliant woman with no scoliosis issues and no memories of "therapy torture" as I called it. Finally, where I am concerned, there are NOT enough words to express my gratitude for Dr. David Warkentin and his entire staff and now even more so for the pain management clinic as well! Due to too many years of hard labor work, health issues not understood by other doctors or misdiagnosed, I have lived a life, more than 30 years of great pain. However, now at 50 I am beginning to enjoy a life of less pain, thanks to David's passion and determination in understanding on how to help me! His patience, his resolve and treatments are what kept me from intrusive surgery -- which I am convinced would not have helped me at all. Regardless of where his clinic was throughout the years, we continued to drive over 30 minutes since we live further north to see him weekly! At one point he even helped our first dog walk again, and saved us over 6K in surgical procedures the Vet tried to convince us in pursuing so that our dog can walk again. With about 6 treatments at Verve by Dr. Warkentin our dog was back to being himself - happy and walking, even running! Having gone through so many health issues early in my life, I have met my share of doctors, some alright, some truly passionate in trying to help but alas they cannot, others only too quick, much too quick to simply prescribe pain medications. With Dr. Warkentin and our 14 years as his patients, the entire family (all four of us) he has kept us all away as much as possible from pain meds, and overall healthy! I do not think many understand how blessed we are when we get to his Wellness center, I strongly believe, because having travelled in other parts of the world, do we have immediate access to either a medical doctor, a nurse, or nurse practitioner, an X-ray machine, the water or rolling beds, and or a massage therapist! And now, the PAIN Management clinic too! THAT is what I call a visionary - it makes it less difficult to get the necessary treatments! And when, like my case, too often, my insurance denies the service requested, Dr. Warkentin and his staff fight real hard to make it otherwise. Speaking of Verve Wellness' staff, I also simply want to thank them ALL from his team of Doctors to his office staff - you work equally hard to help in Dr. Warkentin's vision of creating an ambiance of peacefulness and just as importantly of trust! Dr. Fuentes, Dr. Wolseley, and now Dr. Seth - we are grateful that you are part of this team! THANK YOU for all of the years of taking care of my family and me! I wish you all continued success IN helping others find a life of no pain! The long commute, is so worth it! Found this medical angel, Dr. Erin Hill, on a Facebook ad. At the time she was at a practice in Gilbert, Arizona with two Chiropractors and a medical doctor. I had neck pain for months and wanted to try a different alternative to getting rid of pain without taking more meds. Being afraid of needles and not really knowing anything about acupuncture, I decided to try the chiropractic path. They did a thorough exam and consultation and I was on my way with a treatment plan. Fortunately, I also had the opportunity to talk to Dr. Erin on my first visit for a consultation. I loved her from get go! When speaking to Dr. Erin I focused on my emotional health leaving my physical neck pain issue to the chiropractor. She knew exactly what I was going through and how weaning off the anti-depressant can leave you with side effects of the very symptoms of why you started the anti-depressant in the first place! She was very confident that she could help me and explained how acupuncture can help in the aid of weaning off the meds. I have been a patient of Dr. David Warkentin since 2002. At that time, his practice was a one man show in a small, leased office. Even at that time and with such humble beginnings, he impressed me from the start with his knowledge and skill, compassion, and customer service. I have had chronic back pain for about 10 years now. I have gone thru multiple procedures to try and relive the pain and nothing has worked as well as accupuncture. I have always wanted to try it but its one of thoes things that you just are not quite sure where to start looking for a good Dr. I have been going to Verve chiropractor for almost 3 years now and i was so excited when they told me they were getting a doctor who specializes in accupuncture. My first appointment with Dr.Hill was amazing. she was very easy to talk to and took the time to listen to everything i had to say. I originally went to Verve Wellness 6 years ago after severely hurting my lower back at work. I give them all the credit in the world for getting me back to work as quickly as possible. I've been going to Verve for 13 years now and it's been amazing. The staff has always been courteous and professional. I have never had any issues and any of my concerns have been addressed every time. This practice started as a small office and has evolved into a wonderful one-stop shop that is capable of addressing all of your issues. For instance, I had back pain and saw the chiropractic division for assistance. They were actually able to pinpoint the root cause as an imbalance in my blood, which was verified by labs taken from their medical division. I got that fixed and my lower back pain went away. They have massage therapists there that don't just rub your back. They identify the cause of your problems and you can get an adjustment that same day. I have been a patient at Verve for several years. Dr. Warkentin and his state of the art equipment are the reason I can still use my back. Other doctors told me I would just have to live with my arthritis forever. One afternoon I was rear ended at 60 mph and I had back pains by the evening. In 2013 I injured my right hip. Chiropractor I was seeing then kept telling me he didn't eliminate pain. When I saw Dr Warkentin (owner of Verve Wellness Center) he was the first chiropractor who wanted not only x-rays but also MRI of my spine.
