If you are a meat eater, then you should like the food here, I have heard nothing but good things for Vespa for meat eaters. If you are a vegetarian however, your options are limited to one Eggplant Panini Sandwich, they have fries, salads and cold slaw. I'm sure their service is good most of the time, but at lunch time this place can get busy, so expect to wait in line, and I don't think that there is anything wrong with that considering that they make everything rather fresh in front of you. The menu can be challenging to read as it is all over the wall, make sure you check all three sides of the wall as some stuff is not repeated. Good place for lunch, but again if you are a vegetarian I would suggest going elsewhere, but if you are with friends that are meat eaters, you have one thing that you can order. read more

This place could be better if they improve their service. I wanted to go here based on co-workers reviews. I went on a Friday at lunch time. They were super busy and it was a bit chaotic. There are two places to order and on this particular day they were only receiving orders from one spot. This was not made clear (with a sign etc), and many people waited in the wrong line for a while before they were told to line up again in a different line. I find the menu very difficult to read and that can be intimidating when you go for the first time. If you are a vegetarian, you don't have too many options. There is an eggplant sandwich and a vegetarian pizza (that you have to wait 15 mins for). For a place that prides itself on being fast it was anything but. Also, the panini I ordered wasn't grilled. When I think of a panini I automatically think grilled, otherwise I would call it a sandwich. So I was disappointed over this. I got the fries with slaw and BBQ combo. Again I was disappointed when they gave a vegetarian meal gravy instead of BBQ sauce. This is what they gave everyone. So.. false advertising. I didn't ask to get it switched because the person I was with said they got the same stuff the last time they went. If the service improves it might we worth a visit for meat eaters. But I think I'll take my appetite to my other favourite restaurants (that I would argue are quicker at serving me). read more

Delish! Had the meatball sub, fries, east coast gyro, & Greek salad. SO YUM! & the proprietor was genuinely grand: friendly and solicitous. He seemed to love his customers and serving them. A SkipTheDishes driver was picking up an order from this restaurant. An employee started yelling at him out of no where about the size of his bag. It's not up to the restaurant to determine the size of the SkipTheDishes bag as drivers buy those from SkipTheDishes and they work with what they have. I called to speak with the manager to politely ask why the employee was raising her voice to someone just doing their job. The manager was immediately disrespectful and started raising her voice on the phone going on about the size of the bag, and wouldn't let me speak. She said some rude things and I had to ask her multiple times to stop raising her voice and speaking to me this way. There was no reason to be verbally confrontational like that. Not long after we hung up her husband, the owner, called my cell and was immediately confrontational. I tried to explain there was no reason for this.. as I tried to speak he yelled and continued to go on about the bag and professional this and that. I said many times stop yelling at me. He said to tell the Skip driver come back and "I'll show him how to do his job". Wow. He kept going and I told him I was recording the call until he went off and hung up. They yelled about being professional (having the right sized bag apparently) while they behaved in this extremely unprofessional way. Absolutely unnecessary, especially over the holidays. Maybe they are having other issues, but this was the worst experience I have ever had dealing with a restaurant. No one should be yelling at drivers or at anyone else who tried to clarify the situation. Just wow. read more

We're from out of town and wanted to try local but was unfortunately disappointed. The menu is deceiving. I figured everything was homemade Italian but certainly not. The biggest surprise was the gnocchi- it was def. out of that dry plastic package you see in the grocery store, the tempura onion rings were generic and far from tempura batter, and pizza was scarce with ingredients and dry. I feel terrible giving a local restaurant a bad review but the bill was exuberantly expensive for the quality. read more

The menu is incredibly hard to read. Too many fonts, too many choices that don't need to be there. The sandwiches are good but they are small for the price. Fast, though. They make it quickly and you can eat there as there is a lot of seating. read more

Don't waste your money or time. Took 40 minutes to get a regular pizza and then with a bottle of water and a pop plus only 8% tip as this was a take out only...came out to $37.63 Would of been better off going somewhere else. Must be new owners as place is run down...lost their liquor licence and food is so-so. Even after bringing it up to their attention, nothing done about nothing. Can mushrooms replaced the fresh toppings...as well as very skimpy on the bacon and other toppings. WAY OVERPRICED. ..NO VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY. read more

Very good food and never disappointed. Staff are always very nice and welcoming and the portions are generous for the price; but don't order through skip, they won't want you to use that...they'll make sure that you know... even if they offer the service. read more

Love this place, but i'll admit it's not for everyone. If you feel like a change give it a try, they don't make everything to copy other restaurants. Heavy on the salt, which i like. Hope they start delivering soon. read more

I have been here on many occasions in the past. Normally the food is OK. today I ordered 2 lbs of wings ( like I have ordered several times). This time it came in an open 1/2 shelled cardboard container inside a paper takeout bag. I drove 1 km away and the bag is saturated with sauce and the paper is stuck to the top layer of wings! I called 'Laural' immediately said this is the way they have been packing them. I DISCOURAGE ANYONE FROM ORDERING HERE!
