That's a horrible business practice and is why we left Cornerstone. If you want to recommend a rabies shot then, fine, recommend one. But if you just give our animal a rabies shot without having our permission you should be the ones paying for it because you never had our authorization to do so in the first place. Our animals are indoor-only. Not one has gotten out unless we wanted it to in more than 50 years, and the ones that did go out we did get rabies shots for. But our indoor-only animals do not need a rabies shot. This all seems like a blatant money grab when money is tight enough right now and vets are already too expensive.

She did a couple of tests and discussed questions I had. I received the results of the test the next day. Her results were perfect. We discussed food, water and being outside in the heat. Having visited twice already, I've seen a couple of their pet patients that are real jerks, but the staff is as kind and excited to see them as they are their adorable and chill patients. This certainly pulls on your heart strings. Both veterinarians ooze the same level of attention and compassion. I've been to other places in the past where one will favor dogs, another cats, exotics, farm animals, whatever. These doctors don't make me feel rushed or like I'm a burden. They gave me an estimate of my fees before I received services, they had first-time customer coupons on their website that I was able to take in, and they also participate in electronic medical records (a first for me). She made my puppy and me feel comfortable. She took time and explained everything we needed. After establishing a relationship with my puppy all went well. She got all her shots and vaccines. They gave her treats and made sure she was feeling safe. They actually got on the floor to her level to make friends before the doctor examined her and treated her. They took their time with our visit. I was impressed and will be returning to Dr Campbell next month.
