Dr. Rupp and her team at the Veterinary Cardiopulmonary Center gave me the most beautiful gift of three extra years with my beloved dog, Chewy after he went into CHF and was diagnosed with Mitral Valve Disease. Their expertise, compassion, and care were exceptional every step of the way. Even after Chewy passed at almost 15 years old, they sent a beautiful sympathy card that meant the world to me. I'll always be grateful for the kindness and support they showed us during such an emotional journey.

Love my cardiologist!!! They are friend and treat me very well. I can't wait to come back for my check up!

Extremely happy with their service and how well they treat all pets. They're so patient and caring. I feel very comfortable leaving my little Mia in their hands.

This place is over the top pricey, vet tech is friendly, but staffs are cold as hell! When I make appointment, they told me it will take 4 hours for heart echo , blood pressure check and diagnosis etc. it's been 4 hours and I'm still waiting, they told me 30 more minutes.... And hopefully I'll get to see the cardiology Dr. Rupp after all ! BTW, they have no coffee , water etc. bring your own and good luck ! Oh, they don't " deal with insurance companies " so I'll have to pay FULL amount and claim myself after all !!! I'm pretty sure I won't be back !

Awesome staff, Simone helped us out from start to finish and handled everything we needed for our dog Bella. Through all the stress and heart issues she has had, they took us through the process and made it less stressful for everyone! Thanks so much guys - highly recommend

Dr. Doug Mindlins are both incredibly patient, gentle, caring, and thorough veterinarians. Over the years, they've helped our cats through eye infections, cyst growth, heart murmurs, parasites, and more, and we always felt our cats were in very good hands. The pricing has also always felt very fair no hidden fee, and before any more expensive tests, they always took the time to explain and ask first, which we really appreciated. The vet assistants are also absolutely amazing and so kind, and the front desk staff are always warm, friendly, and super quick when we need receipts or SOAP notes. Overall, we've had such a wonderful experience here. We're honestly really sad that after leaving Fort Lauderdale, we won't be able to keep coming here and seeing everyone anymore. No matter what, we highly recommend Quad City Animal Clinic. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our cats all these years!

My sweet Kodah's time was coming to a close here on this earth. He was blind and deaf towards the end of his road and the last thing I wanted to do was to bring him to a vet where he could smell he was in an unfamiliar and uncomfortable place. Dogs know when they're at the vet. Dr. Ashley called and provided a 15 minute out. We said many goodbyes and shed a lot Of hard tears within these last 15 minutes and more when the time was ready. She arrived and was so gentle and soft spoken. Comforting my mom and I during such a heartbreak. Pets are family and we were so lucky to have our sweet pup for 15 and a half years. I rescued him when he was 3months and he ALWAYS had a smile. Dr. Ashley answered our questions, Let us talk about Kodah's life, and explained very gently on what she would be doing and the next steps of administering final breaths. It was comforting to know he was with us and not in a cold unfamiliar place. I cannot thank lap of love of this experience because my mom had a terrible experience with a vet who put her dog down about 2 years ago that I also reviewed on yelp. They work with another company monarch for cremation and has been really easy to manage this whole Process. I wanted to also thank the 2 women that I spoke to on the phone during questions and also when it was time to schedule an appointment. It was a seamless process and easy transaction. It may be a little expensive for some people, but I think I saw they take care credit but honestly giving your pet the comfort and peace of being in their home is worth every $ Fly high Kodah ‍

I hope our experience helps offer you some peace and guidance during this time. Dr. Jordan was truly heaven-sent. I honestly cannot imagine a more gentle, compassionate, and kind soul to walk us through such a heartbreaking and emotional experience. Saying goodbye to our sweet fur baby, Chanel, was devastating, but Dr. Jordan made it as peaceful and loving as it could possibly be. Like you, we read some of the negative reviews first. But after going through this ourselves, I can confidently say those comments don't reflect the truth of Dr. Jordan's care. I can only imagine those reviewers were deep in grief, and that pain shaped their perception. Dr. Jordan explained every step with patience and tenderness, helping us understand exactly what to expect. Thankfully, Chanel wasn't scared--she didn't yelp or flinch--and we were able to hold her close in comfort. Of course, every animal is different, and responses may vary, but in our case, it was calm and gentle. If you are in the position of making this decision now, I am so deeply sorry. But please know: you will be in compassionate hands with Dr. Jordan. He truly felt like an angel during one of the most difficult moments of our lives.

We started going there when our last pup starting having heart murmurs. The vet that we had previously was super expensive, over charging for services, over medicating our pup and we decided to get a second opinion. When we first walked into Stevens, we saw a battery operated candle with a sign that stated that is the candle was lit, someone was saying goodbye to their companion and asked all those in the lobby to keep their voices low and their cell phones on vibe or silent. I knew we had found the right place. They took care of Rockie's every need until his passing last February. Rockie had heart issues and was given one to one and a half years and nearly lasted two bc of the guidance and care received from Dr Chris. The entire staff is extremely friendly and caring of our little fur babies and they offer a myriad of services such as non-sedation dental cleaning, grooming, boarding etc. The facilities are clean and they immediately disinfect any "accidents" that may occur. We have since added a new family member named Chloe. She has already had her first visit with Dr. Chris and she is on track for a healthy and happy life. Did I also mention that they help out with rescue facilities? And did I mention how reasonably priced their services are? Well, now you know! I can't imagine taking our fur babies any place else. He said by showing him this proof that my dog was in these medicines I was being extremely condescending? What am I supposed to do, accept the fact that they didn't have it? He then said we need a doctor visit with the dog. I said why? It's not like dementia gets better. He replies "sir, I'm a certified medical professional" or something? Okay? It's taken me over a year to write this, as I was so livid when everything first went down I decided to give myself time to process. As a lifelong cat lover and owner, I cannot in good faith recommend anyone adopt from this 'sanctuary' due to the following situation I endured: I visited Purr rescue in January of 2025 looking for a second cat as I already had 1 rescue from the Humane Society. I fell in love with a little black cat named Usher via their website and made an appointment that same week to visit all of the cats, but knew I had a sweet spot for 'Usher' and was going there with her in mind. When I got there I was told she was the vet tech's (unfortunately I don't remember his name) favorite cat and he paid special attention to her, *this will be relevant in a moment. I would go on to adopt Usher that same week and take her home a week later. I was told she needed to be quarantined, fully examined nose to tail, given her latest vaccines, etc and given a clean bill of health prior to me taking her from the sanctuary... which I was elated to hear she was 100% healthy and ready to be taken home the following week. She's a bit of a c*nty anti-social kitty to begin with, as all they told me was she was abandoned at the VCA at 6 months old with 3rd degree burns on her back and has a bald spot - as a fellow burn survivor (that can also possess a c*nty attitude, it was love at first sight). Very shortly after having her home and monitoring her 24/7 (i work from home) I noticed something wasn't right and decided to take her to my family vet who I love and trust. It was then that I was informed: - she had such advanced level gingivitis and stomatitus that she would need to have ALL of her teeth removed immediately. - it seemed as though several of her teeth were already missing due to the horrid state of her mouth and NO ONE mentioned this to me. - she had bad infections in both ears and would need ongoing treatment for that as well. I CRIED MY EYES OUT. imagine adopting a new baby, being told they're 100% healthy and have a clean bill of health, falling in love with them more day by day and then being told my your family vet that they need to be taken into surgery immediately due to the deteriorating composition of their entire oral cavity, as well as severe ear infections. AS IF MATTERS COULDN'T GET ANY WORSE... Natalie (i hope you and your superiors all see this) handled both the situation and myself BEYOND UNPROFESSIONALLY and extremely defensive (i have other choice words for her, but I'll let you all use your imaginations). Alluding to the fact this may have happened under my care, ZERO EMPATHY AT ALL as I sit on the phone balling my eyes out about everything this poor little cat is having to endure, and was BERATING me while trying to uphold the 'integrity' of their operation without EVER acknowledging how horrid the whole thing was. She was ABSOLUTE HELL to deal with and I cannot believe they keep her there as a 'site manager' or whatever her made-up title is. She should NEVER interact with clients. She has a horrible reputation in the rescue circuit and evidently has been this way for YEARS but for some reason they keep her on payroll. Contractually Purrr was required to cover the cost of surgery and I went to a surgery center that they partner with, where the Doctor (who was lovely and not affiliated with Purrr in anyway) confirmed for me this was 100% a case where the cat had 'slipped through the cracks' in the system. And let me say, I get that. I understand that they are taking in 100's of cats and accidents do happen ... but due to the way it was handled so poorly, no accountability was taken, and I was never reached out to by the senior leaders or apologized to by anyone other than Shanna, unfortunately I cannot and will not forgive them for this 'accident' - nor can I suggest them to anyone I know & love in good faith.

So from 6/8-7/13 summers animal hospital could not/would not help my dogs UTI. The last thing Summers told me was "we can't help her you need to take her to see an INTERNIST " after hundreds of dollars for a uti-I took her to another vet office I used to go to and been open for over 30 years spent $200 for office visit and meds-meds-l gave the other vet all the bloodwork, urinalysis and culture from summers -other vet office immediately knew summers was ONLY treating 1 bacteria and not 2 bacteria's present and that treating 1 bacteria she would have NEVER got better. I have to say that part of the staff really seems to care but my experience with the vet Raluca Anghel was not the best. She pressured me and made me feel horrible as I tried to decide what to do about the situation. First she recommended me to leave my dog overnight for a cost of over 5k than when I said I wouldn't leave my baby there she started saying my dog was not responding to the treatment and very quickly her new alternative was euthanasia. So if I had paid 5k to leave my dog there would I pay 5k to have her euthanized the next morning? The whole interaction with her was awful and it was just not worse because I was basically unable to think straight. I left with a 2k bill and without my baby. When I asked for the exams she said she did, they sent me a few things but even though I paid for a ultrasound I didnt get any images. I emailed them about it and they say they didnt save it. Why would I pay for something and they would not keep it to share with me if needed? When I emailed them questioning I receive no response. One disappointment after another. I have other dogs so I already did my research on other Emergency vets in the area and I hope you do as well instead of taking your loved pet here.
