I am located two hours from Day Auto, but I am so glad I trusted my gut and decided to make the 2+ hour trip out there. This may be long (I apologize), but I have had an experience worth sharing. I found the listing for the vehicle I was interested in on Craigslist, and immediately called Amy to inquire about the vehicle. She was incredibly helpful on the phone and provided all of the information she had, and was honest with me when she didn't know the answer. She discussed the history of the vehicle, how long they had it, and even opened the shop special hours just so I could make the commute out there to look at the vehicle. There was absolutely no pressure and she was incredibly respectful towards us. After taking the vehicle on a test-drive and checking it out we decided to move forward with the purchase. It was then that we went back to the shop and were able to meet Jon. He was extremely personable, honest and helpful, and he even switched out a bulb that we had mentioned was burned out. I left feeling happy about my purchase, and confident in the vehicle. Where Jon and Amy truly showcased their commitment to customer service however, was after I got home with the vehicle. A small issue had presented, and I sent Amy a message explaining what happened. She immediately called me, and within hours, she and Jon were in my area looking at the vehicle and addressing my concerns. I was absolutely blown away by their dedication to their customers, and their follow-through on standing behind the products they sell. They have earned a customer who will certainly return, and they have been given tremendous word of mouth at the college campus I work on. Jon and Amy showcase the values of a shop from back in the day where people were in the business because they care - not because they want to get rich. I may live two plus hours away, but I will absolutely be back to purchase our next family vehicle. As other reviewers have said - I would urge anyone to make the drive out to see what they have. Buying used is always a risk, but with Jon and Amy, you have the guarantee that they stand behind what they sell. Thank you again for the tremendous service you have provided to me. Never again. Import minded (inexperienced mechanics) forgot the o ring on a Dual clutch Transmission oil filter change causing significant damage to my newer VW after oil leaked all over, Never accepting any responsibility. Wolf Cycle, significantly over filled oil (caused oil pump sensor to trigger code). Sheboygan Dodge Chrysler asking 8,000 in repairs, which I passed on one of which was an oil pump, 75,000 miles later no issues. Mike Burkhart Ford, overpriced, use cheap parts that failed, then not realizing they did the repairs (under warranty) tried to bill me again. 2,000-dollar brake and rotor job with inferior parts. They don't, complete proper inspections, sending vehicles out unsafe. this happened twice, radiator coolant after servicing, leaving my wife on long road trip with high engine temps. My F 150 was in a serious accident and was sent to them by my insurance for significant repairs, they missed serious repairs needing further repairs which resulted in multiple visits. It's now *****Town and Country's turn. So far, I give them a solid 4.7 Jake is a personable business owner and reliable mechanic who is straight forward and seems to have his hands on the wrench for most jobs. his shop is not huge, a few stalls, but seems to service a high number of vehicles as you can see them lined up in his easily accessible lot. He has performed serious tasks on my high mileage vehicles without any issues so far. He is thorough taking time to explain things to you, has offered free advice over the phone saving me time and money. He has never taken advantage of pushing unnecessary repairs and even talked me out of repairs. Uses quality parts he can stand behind. His hourly rate is reasonable, and the repair costs are hundreds to thousands less than your dealer. He has a nice dog to boot. offers competitive tires prices as well. why the 4.7, well it would be 5 plus if it wasn't for location and time of service and availability. He is busy but gives you his full attention and time, always calls you back and keeps communication flowing.

Also brought in to fix back right wheel bearing and they fixed left. 3rd time. Brought back in cause of wheel bearing and they told me it's my tires cause they the wheel bearing only makes noise at higher speeds. We'll I have tire noise always did but guess what at 30 mph it howls! Take car home and now my heater doesn't blow on my feet and my ambient lighting is messed and the girl behind the counter tells me they did nothing to effect that. We'll then why were all my ambient lights off when I picked it up!?!?!
