It's hard to find service providers that aren't out to grab as much of a veteran's benefits as they can. I had an issue that required some customer service, and it drug out far longer than necessary. However, when the problem reached the attention of the director, she went the extra mile to make it right, and I was satisfied with results. I've been a Veterans Service Officer for about 10 years, and I can count on one hand how many of these companies I would recommend to the veterans I work with--I'll be adding this one to that very short list.

On top of that, if you have been seen at the VA, he insists that you be seen by a VA psychiatrist first in case you need more care (bc he keeps reiterating "in case you need a higher level of care"). HOWEVER, you need NOT be enrolled in the VA Healthcare system to be seen at the Vet Center. There are many reasons why veterans opt to go to the Vet Center versus the VA. This shows a lack of insight, care, empathy, and knowledge of VA policy. This site has been reported to the district director. And if I could give it zero stars, I would. I don't know how anyone would trust this Center higher-up's decision-making skills or skills at this point.

They made over $1K just with little things!! But we still had a bit leftover. One of my neighbors told me about HelpVets.com so I went on their website & scheduled the pick up for the next day. By 8:15am the truck pulled up & took about 10 boxes & a lot of other things including clothes. The young man who picked everything up was very polite & friendly!! I was sooo happy that we didn't have to load up all this stuff to drop it off somewhere!! I immediately let all my close friends & neighbors know of this incredible service!! BUT the BEST part is that this helps "Vietnam Vets"!! My husband is a 20 yr vet, so veteranas are near & dear to our hearts! Set up a pickup 2 weeks I'm advance to allow me time and gather all the items I wanted to donate…read more Provided my gate code for my subdivision and specific instructions on where items would be in front of my garage. I have a homeowners association and can't leave items out for extended time. Had items out early for 7:30 am pickup. 4 pm came and no pickup. I contacted them and was told they are still enroute. I had to go to work, so li left the items outside. I get home from work at 2 am, no pickup. I contact again, and at 2 pm they guarantee someone is on the way. 4 pm comes again, I go to work, come home at 2 am... items still not picked up. That's 2 days straight out in the blazing sun with the current heat wave. I sent a msg stating I would find another organization to donate to. I served 26 years in the military, had quality items, and I wanted to give to those in need. Sad.
