She is a pure example of cultivating purpose out of pain. Just wow. As if playing with Nicole Waldmann and Mairany wasn't enough of a mood boost this morning, Linda didn't hesitate two seconds to embrace me and thank me for my contributions there... and let me tell you...I don't do much, but this team is THAT excited about every little thing we do to help them in their mission to help children with life threatening medical conditions. What a privilege to know the staff, volunteers, and families of MAW! Thank you again Taylor Loomis for guiding me toward the journey of a wish granter and to Denise Anne for being the perfect mentor. I'm beyond grateful and cherish all these memories. Looking forward to so many more! https://www.facebook.com/share/r/WpkAJpWF94cCNDaR/?mibextid=oFDknk

When we attend their annual fundraising gala it's nice to meet a few of the people they've helped grant wishes for. To hear their story and then see them light up when they talk about how Make a Wish has helped ease their pain makes me feel good inside....of course it's hard to hold back your emotions when that happens, but it's still a good feeling. I googled Bird Sanctuary near me and Liberty Wildlife Rehab popped up. Luckily they were open until 6, so we were able to make it over there. We took our little baby birdie to the rescue window. The kindest lady came and placed him in a little box and then took him back to a baby bird nursery room. She came back and she was just so sweet and I knew the little bird would be just fine with these people. In the area behind here she had huge rescued birds behind her. 3 were vultures. And 3 other huge birds were there too just hanging out on there perches. No cages just chilling. And then a goat came up outside the window, to peek in and say hello. Just a wonderful place, where I am going to be donating to monthly so they can keep up their good work and continue to keep there Rescue Intake Window open!! Please visit their website and Pop by to visit the amazing grounds and bring your kids. It is truly beautiful.
