Grass fields

Via Verde Park is a great hidden gem neighborhood park. It is tucked into a small neighborhood, you wouldn't know its there unless you are from the area or visiting. There's is no parking lot, just plenty of street parking in front. This park has luscious greenery as views and great large clean grass fields. When we visited there where families having parties, kids, couples and dogs. This small but lovely little neighborhood park has a great sand less playground for kids with clean and new equipment, swings and a play area for smaller kids. It has a walking path that circles around the park, picnic tables, grills, trash cans and a clean public restrooms. This park would make great photo location, great place for actives, playing sports or to celebrate a party. This park has large trees and great places for shade during the hot summer days. This park seemed very clean and safe. We went for a kids birthday / playdate on a weekend with our toddler, parking was easy, park wasn't crowded. This would be a perfect place for to sit on the grass with a blanket, take a date, your dog for a walk or have your kid enjoy the playground. Also, when we visited there was a ice cream truck parked in front, not sure what days this truck visits.

I live by several parks and this park by far is one of the best in the area. I came out to attend a Christmas tree plant making class here at via verde park. I've never been to this park and very glad I did. This park is quiet and well maintained. We were using the park benches in the middle of the park under the trees. Not sure how many more there were but you may have to reserve the space in advance for parties. There's a play area for kids and an open area to play and run, soccer with the family and a path to walk your dog. Parking is on the street and you may be able to park at the shopping center across the way. Highly recommend this park. I'll be around to walk my dogs here.

Love this park. We visited it for the first time today. I love how there is a circle loop that is cement and approx 0.4 miles long. The playground seems new and kept well. There was a large grass area with people playing soccer.

I was getting ready to blast everyone that walks their dogs here because I kept seeing dog crap on the side of the track. But then, as I was walking on to the grass area, I just saw a ton more crap on the grass. Then I thought, maybe the people walking their dogs, actually pick up after their dog and place them in the designated crap trash can. And the person that maintains the park, gathers all the crap from the trashcan once a week and spreads them all over the park to fertilize the grass. GENIUS! Well that is what I'm going to believe for now. No blasting of dog walkers in this review. :P But with that said, the track is pretty clean. One full lap around the park is .4 miles. No matter what part of the day, you will find someone walking here. I usually go around 6:30pm and their is a good amount of people here. There are two playgrounds. Their are a few benches and tables where you can have a picnic. A huge field where you can kick around a soccer ball, or play catch with a baseball or football. Across the street, you will find a donut shop, Vons, bank, mailbox, Subway, and a sushi restaurant. Parking: You can only park on one side of the street. Will I be back? Yes I will. I have added this park to the list of parks I'm going to hit up weekly. (And FYI the picture of the lake is Bonelli Park, not this one.)

What a beautiful park to enjoy an afternoon at I saw this park while driving on the road and had to come and enjoy it. If you're a nature lover like me this park is a must to visit. Nice open fields very clean restrooms which is a plus and a track to walk around. I just enjoyed reading my book here but will definitely come back to do some yoga or go for a jog‍

Nice park. The picture on yelp isn't for this park though. There is no lake or body of water here. I bring my dog here when there aren't many dogs around because she's an unsocialized pound puppy. I grab a couple of doggy doo bags and always pick up after her and everyone else does the same. The track is .40 of a mile so 5 laps equals 2 miles. The only thing I dislike about this park is that the track is cement and I prefer jogging on dirt. There are 2 playground areas for kids and enough tables and shade. I also don't like that people walk/jog in either direction because I don't like people to see my red, sweaty face.

Such a cute little park in the middle of nowhere but we loved the little walk and stroll. The play area is nice and safe too.

There is a small basketball court with 2 hoops and a shaded picnic area with 3 tables. I didn't see any restrooms here, but the park was clean and there's 4 trashcans available around the park. I like that there's many large trees at this park to provide shade. Great park for younger children!

It has a small basketball court and a covered picnic area. Yes, it's old and dated but it is in great condition. It seems like the sun is always shining here which is so pleasantly beautiful! You can always find a squirrel here eating fruit that it picked off Mr. Robertson's tree across the street. The sound of children laughing echoes throughout this park. It still has the old school monkey bars which are perfect for pull ups during my long runs. Every time I stop here there is a puppy playing or a little tyke building some sort of sand castle. This park is very much loved by all the surrounding residents including myself. It would make me so sad if they go through with the destroying of the park. We should enjoy it while it lasts guys! Have a picnic and chat with the squirrels or locals .

When I move, you move (Just like that)…read moreWhen I move, you move (Just like that) Hell yeah, hey DJ brin' that back... You can move all around this park. 5/5 Amenities From pickleball, to the playground or doing Ollie's on the skate park. There are a lot of activities you can do at this location. There are courts for pickleball or tennis, fields for baseball or soccer, picnic tables all over for you to take a load off or paved walkways for you to get your steps in. 5/5 Trees Nothing beats having large trees to give you shade on sunny days. Rainy days are a different story. 5/5 Parking Parking all around the park. You can even park right next to the kids playground. Overall solid park to fit whatsoever your heart desires. So be sure to move and Psalm 119:89, God bless

Other than folks mistakenly referring to it as 'Finkbinder', we love our local G-town park…read more I think the additional 'd' might come from an old 50's themed restaurant in the Village called Fender Benders (sp?), which closed many years ago - and folks confusing the two. But, that said, only old Glendorans would be making that mistake and yet I hear folks of all ages add the 'd'. The park has lots of amenities we've used since our kids were born and even before... - summer concerts and movies in the park - birthday or event areas (Scouting) - playground - tennis court (other side taken by pickleball :( - skate park - sports fields - horseshoes - volleyball - community center And more. We love walking through the park on the way to the Village. If you haven't been, worth checking out pretty much any day of the week. So many fond memories created at Finkbiner. Even Pokémon Go events, haha.
