Via Verde Park, San Dimas Such a beautiful and well-kept park! The walking track is perfect for a peaceful stroll, and the views are absolutely stunning . It's super clean, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. There are plenty of benches to sit and relax, plus a nearby restroom which is really convenient. While there isn't a designated parking lot, you can easily find street parking along the sidewalk . I love that there are some shaded spots along the walking path , and even more shade throughout the park thanks to all the gorgeous trees . Overall, it's the perfect place for a morning walk--fresh air, a little vitamin D , and a chance to enjoy nature at its best . Highly recommend! read more

Beautiful park with lots of green grass, two playgrounds, swings, restrooms, and picnic shelters. There's a nice walking path through the park and plenty of trees. The only con is that there is not a lot of parking. I didn't see any parking lot and the street parking was filled up. There is a shopping center right across the way that some park goers used, but I would be cautious to park there as they might tow. read more

I am fortunate to live close to two community parks that are well maintained. They have a nice walking path that loops around the park, two playground areas. One is for younger toddlers to pre-school-aged children and the other for elementary-grade-level kids. A large grassy field is used for team sports, such as soccer. The bathrooms are very clean and the grounds properly maintained. The one downside is the lack of parking. There are many residential homes within walking distance. This is almost like a private community park. read more

Via Verde Park is a great hidden gem neighborhood park. It is tucked into a small neighborhood, you wouldn't know its there unless you are from the area or visiting. There's is no parking lot, just plenty of street parking in front. This park has luscious greenery as views and great large clean grass fields. When we visited there where families having parties, kids, couples and dogs. This small but lovely little neighborhood park has a great sand less playground for kids with clean and new equipment, swings and a play area for smaller kids. It has a walking path that circles around the park, picnic tables, grills, trash cans and a clean public restrooms. This park would make great photo location, great place for actives, playing sports or to celebrate a party. This park has large trees and great places for shade during the hot summer days. This park seemed very clean and safe. We went for a kids birthday / playdate on a weekend with our toddler, parking was easy, park wasn't crowded. This would be a perfect place for to sit on the grass with a blanket, take a date, your dog for a walk or have your kid enjoy the playground. Also, when we visited there was a ice cream truck parked in front, not sure what days this truck visits. read more

Via Verde Park is a gem of a local park that is safe and has something for the entire family. Located in Via Verde down the hill from the 57 near Bonelli Park and Raging Waters and around the corner from the 10. It is across the street from shopping plaza with a Vons and a small privately owned donut shop that stands as a fixture of the community. Stop on in to the donut shop for fresh donut and coffee or go at lunch for a freshly made to order deli sandwich with some chips to take over to the park. The park is a good size, not too big but plenty of room for all to enjoy including enough space to get a good soccer game going. There is a nicely renovated/redone playground that is great for kiddos. The perimeter has a finished track top path that is about 0.4 mile; great for a casual jaunt or fully engaging in some serious exercise. Plenty of grassy open spaces for picnics, throwing a kids birthday party, or just catching some rays with a book. Hope you enjoy!!! read more

I live by several parks and this park by far is one of the best in the area. I came out to attend a Christmas tree plant making class here at via verde park. I've never been to this park and very glad I did. This park is quiet and well maintained. We were using the park benches in the middle of the park under the trees. Not sure how many more there were but you may have to reserve the space in advance for parties. There's a play area for kids and an open area to play and run, soccer with the family and a path to walk your dog. Parking is on the street and you may be able to park at the shopping center across the way. Highly recommend this park. I'll be around to walk my dogs here. read more

Love this park. We visited it for the first time today. I love how there is a circle loop that is cement and approx 0.4 miles long. The playground seems new and kept well. There was a large grass area with people playing soccer. read more

Very clean and nice park for families and younger children. They have a playground for 2-5 year olds and another one besides it for 5-12 year olds, which is very convenient. We came on a Wednesday afternoon, and there wasn't too many people around. The playground is right beside the restrooms. I didn't actually use it, but there wasn't any smells coming from it when I passed by. There's also lots of grassy areas for people to play with their dogs, but it is pretty close to the road and cars and it's not entirely fenced off, so be careful if you plan to let your pups off-leash. read more

I was getting ready to blast everyone that walks their dogs here because I kept seeing dog crap on the side of the track. But then, as I was walking on to the grass area, I just saw a ton more crap on the grass. Then I thought, maybe the people walking their dogs, actually pick up after their dog and place them in the designated crap trash can. And the person that maintains the park, gathers all the crap from the trashcan once a week and spreads them all over the park to fertilize the grass. GENIUS! Well that is what I'm going to believe for now. No blasting of dog walkers in this review. :P But with that said, the track is pretty clean. One full lap around the park is .4 miles. No matter what part of the day, you will find someone walking here. I usually go around 6:30pm and their is a good amount of people here. There are two playgrounds. Their are a few benches and tables where you can have a picnic. A huge field where you can kick around a soccer ball, or play catch with a baseball or football. Across the street, you will find a donut shop, Vons, bank, mailbox, Subway, and a sushi restaurant. Parking: You can only park on one side of the street. Will I be back? Yes I will. I have added this park to the list of parks I'm going to hit up weekly. (And FYI the picture of the lake is Bonelli Park, not this one.) read more

Such a cute little park in the middle of nowhere but we loved the little walk and stroll. The play area is nice and safe too.

The park is great but Yelp has the address wrong so one star for Yelp. The address on Yelp took us to a gas station the opposite direction of the park. The park is 1010 puente street, San Dimas. read more

What a beautiful park to enjoy an afternoon at I saw this park while driving on the road and had to come and enjoy it. If you're a nature lover like me this park is a must to visit. Nice open fields very clean restrooms which is a plus and a track to walk around. I just enjoyed reading my book here but will definitely come back to do some yoga or go for a jog‍ read more

Nice park. The picture on yelp isn't for this park though. There is no lake or body of water here. I bring my dog here when there aren't many dogs around because she's an unsocialized pound puppy. I grab a couple of doggy doo bags and always pick up after her and everyone else does the same. The track is .40 of a mile so 5 laps equals 2 miles. The only thing I dislike about this park is that the track is cement and I prefer jogging on dirt. There are 2 playground areas for kids and enough tables and shade. I also don't like that people walk/jog in either direction because I don't like people to see my red, sweaty face. read more

this park is so cute! i love it! it's not all that big and and it's not all that crowded...which makes it Woohoo for me! :) i like places that i don't have to fight people for. there are nice wide open spaces to set up soccer games or workouts. there is also quarter mile running path which gets pretty hilly on a certain part. there are two playgrounds and lots of benches and even bbq areas to chill at. i might just have a bbq here one day. this will be my new running park. :) parking is only available on the street. read more

What can I say love this park its within walking distance from my house has a great walking path and not very busy people do walk their dogs and they do have doggie litter bags to use. I usually walk around the path 10 times and that equals 4 miles. In the winter you see baby rabbits and people do use the park for soccer and fitness. They even have slides and swings for kids, it's never really busy and hope it stays this way. read more

I love this park. The 0.4 mile track is nearly-perfect (too bad they couldn't make it 0.5). Because it's in the bottom of a valley, there's almost always a nice comfortable breeze. It's perfect for an afternoon walk. read more
