My son has ADHD, which the office is aware of, and he was also dealing with swollen, sensitive gums due to difficulties with brushing. During his procedure, an injection was given without first applying numbing cream, which caused him significant discomfort and anxiety. What concerned me most was the lack of patience and understanding shown toward my son from Dr Sean, Instead of taking time to calm him down and help him feel comfortable, he appeared frustrated and impatient with him. His dental assistants always tried to keep him calm and were always patient with him. Children, especially those with ADHD or anxiety, often need extra reassurance and compassion during dental visits. I hope more consideration and patience can be shown from Dr Sean when treating children with ADHD. I will no longer bring my kids here.
