I thought it was weird that I had no pain whatsoever for having such "a large access close to my sinus cavity," which was my reason for seeking a second opinion. Dr. Burton did a thorough exam and took two additional X-rays (at my request) to determine if I needed these root canals. He found nothing wrong with either tooth! I appreciate Dr. Burton's honestly and will continue to see him from now on. Marlene, who handles the front desk is also very personable and knowledgeable. I would steer clear of corporate dentists in the area, I know I will never trust another one.

These bills aren't even itemized and they can't seem to ever describe what the amount is for. When we call the business to remedy, they "assure" us they will speak to the office manager. We are told the amount is resolved. And then we get another bill in the mail months later. This has now been going on for nearly 2 years. When I called to ask why I was never informed I was out of network I was told "most patients don't mind paying the extra money" and they could offer a discount of 50% off or I could try reaching out to my insurance or the doctor. I asked to speak with the doctor since I expected to spend $0 and the receptionist(Tori) was unable to explain why I wasn't informed prior to my departure of the visit about the cost. I was told that I could email the doctor but if the receptionist gave him my name and number he likely would not be able to call me since he is very busy. I received a phone call later in the day from the receptionist Tori saying she spoke with the doctor and he said the bill I received is what is due, so they removed the 50% off I was offered on the last phone call. She at first told me the 50% off was removed because I was unhappy paying half then corrected herself and said it was never a set discount, she asked the doctor and he declined it. I'm not sure why any office would treat their new patients this way and then be so careless about how the issue is resolved. Extremely unprofessional and shady!
