She picked up the phone herself as the owner of the agency and gave me by far the cheapest and most comprehensive quote. It was the only office where I got to speak to the actual agent, not their representative, and it was quick and easy. Amie is also an OSU graduate who has been helping students in the area for over ten years. She also has an expansive list of what most landlords and rental offices require, which was super quick. I've been shopping for a new insurer, and my experience dealing with Grange on a claim where their insured was clearly at fault has been beyond frustrating. The claims process has been handled poorly from start to finish. Communication has been unprofessional, I've found the representatives to be unhelpful and dismissive, and they've consistently tried to minimize the claim rather than resolve it fairly. In my experience, they've also failed to fulfill obligations that I believe they are legally required to meet. If this is how they treat people making third-party claims, I would have serious concerns about trusting them as my own insurance provider.

The policy holder was kind and left a note. He sent me his insurance information and I was breathing a sigh of relief even though NONE OF THIS WAS MY FAULT! I took my vehicle to a certified shop that I had been directed to years ago by my insurance company. They did an estimate and sent it to me and to Nationwide! I felt like I was on the way to getting my Jeep fixed and back to the immaculate condition I keep my vehicle in. Nationwide did their own estimate and refused to install OEM parts even though I requested this. They informed me that the state of Ohio didn't require them to use OEM parts even if I requested them and even though NONE OF THIS WAS MY FAULT! In addition to this, they stonewalled me when I asked for an internal review. My concern is that NON OEM PARTS CAN REDUCE THE RESALE OF JEEP GLADIATORS AND JEEP WRANGLERS BY AS MUCH AS %10 percent. I informed them of this decrease in value and their response was "this is Nationwide policy and that is the end of the discussion!" Word to the wise! Don't get run into by a Nationwide Policy holder! My parents had Nationwide insurance for years. NATIONWIDE WAS FOUNDED BY THE OHIO FARM BUREAU to protect their members. It was founded in 1926 in Columbus Ohio! ITS OBVIOUS THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY AS THIS WAS OVER THE AMOUNT OF $275. THE ALMIGHTY DOLLAR IS MORE IMPORTANT TO NATIONWIDE INSURANCE THAN DOING THE RIGHT THING! They're located in a typical Grandview strip mall off of 5th, and at first glance, it appeared closed. No one was at the front desk, and the door was locked. A young lady came from the back to let me in, and when I explained my situation, directed me to one of the desks. The agent himself was out of the office, but there were several casually dressed employees sitting at desks. The office itself was pretty sparse in appearance, beyond the Allstate logo on one wall. The young man who helped me transfer my policy was polite and friendly enough, though it took quite a while to switch the policy since it doesn't seem to be something that they do often in this office. Although the transaction itself went smoothly, I was a little turned off by the casual atmosphere expressed by the employees as well as the sparseness of the office. I'm not sure if they've recently moved to this office, but it all seemed a little odd to me, especially the locking of the front door.
