Of the 5 different terminals at this airport, of course Continental Airlines uses that one. I managed to catch a free transfer and hauled my luggage onto it for the trip around the airport perimeter to Terminal 5. Once there, I figured out where to buy the ticket (there are two ticket stands and one was closed) and stepped outside to the appropriate bus stop. Small piece of luck, the bus arrived a few moments later. Excellent and extremely courteous bus driver, he put my very heavy luggage underneath without complaint and we were off. The drive to Reading was about a half hour in light traffic and I was able to entertain myself with free wi-fi on board. When we did get to Reading, he helped my drag my luggage over to the taxi stand. In the rain! Thank you! Not the most comfortable of seats, as a 6' tall American, I had to twist sideways in order to avoid banging my knees into the seat in front. I will absolutely use this service again. Strong recommendation! Save £1 and buy your ticket online.

On our return trip to the airport, the assigned driver arrived at the hotel early for pick-up and gave me a call. No stress and no-frills impeccable service! They had no official timer and charged £15, then they demanded cash. Even the staff at the restaurant we were at were gobsmacked, Cintracks really, really took advantage. Would never use again, way overpriced. They need to know that they cannot get away with jacking the price up on people like that, and if they do they will be reviewed negatively. I see someone else posted a very similar review, so this seems to be a pattern with Cintracks.

A real nightmare! I…read morehad to go to the National Express coach stop on Bath Rd, Reading, so I booked a taxi by phone and specified that - despite I knew the bus stop was adjacent to the Recreation Ground - I had never been there so I needed the taxi driver to know where we were heading. I was reassured that that was not a problem, advised just to tell the driver that I needed to go that 'well-known' coach stop, and so I booked the taxi for a quote of £12. On the morning of the journey I did as advised: I showed the driver my tickets with the details of the coach stop location and he told me he knew exactly where it was, and soon we were on our way to Calcot. Guess what? He had no clue where the destination was, he tried to dump me at a few random bus stops in Calcot, I missed my coach and had to ask to be taken to Reading station where I had to buy new tickets for the quicker Railair. Once at the station, he charged me £25, refused to recognise his mistake and to give me any discount, lied to me saying he never told me he knew where the coach stop was. I also called the company, and I was just shouted at and threatened. I had not seen such a lack of professionalism and integrity in a long time, this is not only a bad taxi service, but a bunch of bad people!
