I called The Del Mar Flower Shop and got Vicky's floral designs . What I didn't know is Vicky owns both . I sent her a photo of flowers I had hoped she could make something similar . My daughter loves creams , whites, olive green. Not only did she create a gorgeous arrangement my daughter will love she made it better than the picture I showed her , the one that's a close up is my sample photo . Vicky did an amazing job on my daughter's flowers . They'll be delivered to her tomorrow in Del Mar and Vicky sent me these photos of what's she's delivering . She nailed it . I ordered a floral arrangement for my daughter's house warming. I chose "premium" from the menu (most expensive) at $145. I was mortified when I saw the arrangement. There were a lot of flowers to be sure, but just jammed into a small glass vase, itself worth probably a buck-and-a-half. No greenery, baby's breath, no artistic effort at all! I actually called to voice my disappointment. The lady (the manager was not available) said "the recipe called for thus and such, and that's what they gave me." No apology, no concern, no teaching moment. If they don't improve their "recipes," I suggest you shop elsewhere. read more
