Havent been to a dentist in years…read more I started getting BAD pain on my left side. Decided to find a dentist on Yelp worth a visit. I found Dr. Genco and gave him a call. I called his office and got him, which was kind of a shock since I was expecting a secretary. I thought that was cool. I told him about my situation and went in the next day. I showed up a hour before he closed. He not only was SUPER cool, but very caring. After filing out some quick paperwork he brought me in. Before he even began he told me the most important thing for him is to make sure I never feel any pain. He did some visual checks... immediately told me the reason I was feeling alot of pain, as well as being lethargic was because my teeth were infected. He took some XRays and showed me the results. He quickly prescribed me antibiotics and explained our plans to get these teeth fixed. Throughout the whole process he was VERY caring. Something you rarely see from a dentist or even doctor nowadays. They usually finish you up and ask for the next one. Im planning to go back in a week or so to start fixing up these teeth. highly recommend him because hes really cool and caring.

My wife had an abscess and he had given us his personal cell number to call if it got any worse. He was actually on vacation when we called him and he stayed on the line with us and talked the emergency room dentist through what needed to be done. He's a man who loves his job and you can tell. He's constantly educating himself on the newest technologies and it makes a huge difference. I got a crown from him that even I am unable to tell where it starts and my tooth begins. If I could give him 10 stars, I would.

This was my first visit to Bay Dental with Dr. Anthony Cirillo, and I had an excellent experience…read morefrom start to finish. The office is extremely clean and well organized. I was seen right away, which I really appreciated. Upon arrival, they took a panoramic X-ray, and then once I was seated in the exam chair they completed my regular dental X-rays. My hygienist was absolutely wonderful, very thorough but also incredibly gentle. She even finished by flossing my teeth, which surprisingly many offices skip. She also took the time to show me how to properly floss some of my problem areas, which I found very helpful. Dr. Cirillo was just as thorough. He carefully reviewed my X-rays and discussed his findings with me. I needed a filling replaced, and he was able to take care of it the same day. I also have bonding on my two front teeth that needed some improvement, and he addressed that right away as well. He took his time and worked with great care, and I'm very happy with both the visit and the results. I will absolutely be recommending Bay Dental and Dr. Cirillo to my friends!

After two years, I finally find the courage to write this review...and I am a pretty avid reviewer…read moreon Yelp. In September 2023, I hit my front tooth playing pickleball. It went gray and I consulted with my dental friend from HS and I was told that it went narcotic, meaning the tooth was dead and it was beneficial to take it out. After some research and out of desperation, I called Bay Dental at the Pointe because it was close to me. I gave them my insurance and they checked for me and told me the whole process would be $350ish. But that's when everything went bad. During my initial consultation with Dr. Circosta, I was told to come back and do the procedure the next appt after the initial consultation. But he then told me that since I was here, I might as well do the procedure. I didn't know exactly what that meant at the time, so he proceeded to do the surgery and took my whole tooth out. I kid you not, the experience was so traumatizing I went home and cried for three days straight. During the next appt, I was told that I would be charged an extra $95 because of the consultation, like wtf? I was like, "Fine, I needed this to be done." But then it's like one after another, the communication between what was needed to be done was so bad I felt like I was not taken care of as a patient. The only thing that was good abt this place was that it was a clean facility. Other than that, the dentist was abysmal at making his patient feel confident/good. When I spoke abt the co-pay, he said that was not his job and that I needed to speak to the front desk. And when I asked questions about the whole process with the tooth, I was left feeling like it was my fault. I don't think anyone should feel like that. The dentist might be good at doing his job, but come on, gain a grip on your emotional intelligence. After the whole thing, I believe I paid out of pocket a total of $650+ for the few times I saw them. Three months after the procedure, I went back to my old dentist in East Village for my regular check up because I did not feel good going back to this place at all. After a few x-rays, I found out through my old dentist that the tooth that they installed had a scratch line across. Like what the hell? I don't believe I did anything worthy of showing signs of scratches/cracks already. The overall experience with them was just so very disappointing and frustrating. Here and there when I wake up in the mornings in the last two years, I feel so taken advantage of and upset when my tongue touches my front tooth. I just couldn't justify my experience in my head. To sum, I would not recommend this place. This place is so dishonest and cluster f*ck. I feel like people should know how this place works and make their own judgments.

Tooth #31 was quite the little troublemaker, as it had deep roots and was positioned near my gum line, leaving many oral surgeons hesitant to take it on. Determined to find someone who could help, I came across Leading Edge Periodontics on Hylan Blvd. After checking out their wonderful reviews, I decided to give them a call, and to my delight, they were able to fit me in just a few days later. I have to say, the positive feedback I read really lived up to its reputation! When I arrived at the office, I was greeted by a spacious parking lot, which made everything easy and convenient. The ADA-compliant ramp was a nice touch, showing that they care about making their office accessible for everyone. As soon as I stepped inside, I felt at ease--the office was spotless and beautifully designed, creating a welcoming atmosphere right from the start. The front desk staff were super friendly and could tell I was in a bit of pain. A lovely young lady took my information with genuine kindness, making sure I felt comfortable as I filled out the necessary paperwork. Within moments, I was led into the examination room and put on a dental bib, ready for what was next. Once my X-rays were sent over from another office, Dr. Peto came in with a warm smile. His calm and approachable demeanor really helped to put me at ease during what could have been a stressful experience. He carefully examined my tooth and explained that the filling I had received a few weeks prior wasn't done well. With care and clarity, he walked me through the extraction process so I knew exactly what to expect. He numbed the area with a few injections of Lidocaine, which he administered quickly and effectively. Then, the Nitrous Oxide helped me relax even more, which was a great bonus! In no time--less than ten minutes, actually--Dr. Peto had successfully extracted my tooth. I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly everything went, and he was able to do it without making any major cuts into my gums. Afterward, he carefully stitched up the socket and sent me home with prescriptions for antibiotics and pain relief. Plus, I received a thoughtful aftercare package with everything I needed to help me heal comfortably! Every single person at Leading Edge Periodontics was absolutely wonderful. From the receptionists to the dental assistants, their friendly and caring attitudes made all the difference. I experienced hardly any bleeding during my recovery, and at my follow-up appointment a week later, I was thrilled to learn that my socket was healing beautifully. They encouraged me to get in touch if I had any questions or concerns, which made me feel supported even after I left. Overall, I wholeheartedly recommend Leading Edge Periodontics to anyone in need of dental care. Their friendly and professional team turned what could have been a daunting experience into a really positive one. I'm so grateful for their excellent service and the care I received throughout the entire process!
