(Context: I dyed my hair green the night before) I came in as a walk-in around 5pm, it was pretty quiet room with Fox News playing on the tv, and a woman getting a pedicure. One of the employees greeted me and asked what I needed/wanted to get done. I showed him my nails, with a faint green tint, and said I needed to have this fixed as much as they could. I'm not allowed to wear nail polish at work, so I just requested a clear polish that I could easily take off. We didn't say much, but he shaped up my nails nicely, and someone else took over when she was done with her previous customer. They both cleaned my nails gently and they look great. I've had many experiences at other establishments where they are rough with my cuticles, got acetone in my splits by my fingers (which burns really bad), and a very rushed services which make me really anxious. I was very grateful they were gentle with the service. I was really looking for a basic cleanup with some acetone, but they did a really nice manicure with a soft hand massage as well. This was about 25 minutes and was a nice little break in my day. $15 dollars with a $5 tip for people who were easily able to clean my nails and not judge was a nice experience. One thing I will note is that before I had my nails painted, they asked if I wanted to pay. I said yes since it's just a clear coat and I had no designs or anything, but I'm sure they would let you pay after if you said no. Not sure, but something to consider. Pros: Quick service, lots of color options from what I looked at, fair price for what I received, gentle work. Cons: Very quiet atmosphere and little talking (which I enjoy but I can understand why someone would be unnerved). read more

Haven't been here in years because of a bad experience the last time I was here. I usually go to the one across from my house but the owner can be so rude sometimes and make you feel like crap. Love this place. I've been going here for many years. They are super clean and in a very decorative atmosphere!! Very friendly!! I only wish they would be a little more creative with their nail styles and nail colors. I've brought in a few of my own nail polish and Pinterest ideas for nails. They should try to take pics of customers nails and post it on a Facebook page or on Yelp to show what fantastic work they do! I hate this place!!!!!!!!! I don't even want to give them a single star. Literally the worst place ever! They are so rude and disrespectful. I came Here a few days before my wedding to get a mani pedi done .. the lady kept trying to butter me up and kept adding on services saying I should do this and that because it's my wedding so I had agreed and the bill added up to 109$ (without tip) which is fine. The same day I had stained my nails and I had gone back the day before my wedding to get them fixes. I arrived as soon as they opened asking her if she can please fix my nails. The lady flat out refused me and was so rude saying it wasn't her fault and had me in tears. She said she didn't have time for me And had other clients that she needed to attend to. The customer who was there offered to give me her spot as she so me flustered and in tears ..I was willing to wait and pay for services however, the worker was screaming at me furiously denying any services. She then offered to give me acetone for free and try to figure it out myself. At this point I was so upset that I just walked out and went to the salon in the next plaza over! Stopped in to get a no chip manicure in between errands. So disappointed that I did not check the Yelp reviews ahead of time. Once through the door, the smell was horrid. I have no clue how the staff can work with the smell of chemical fumes. The technician I had was kind enough, no small talk - which I appreciated. But quickly I started to notice she did not know what she was doing. Looking around for items that she never found. After getting the previous no chip off, she then proceeded to use the dremel to smooth out my nail. I have never had this tactic used when getting a no chip, and certainly did NOT appreciate it. I was determined to give this place the benefit of the doubt & proceeded on. At one point she grabbed items out of the sterilizing box, instead of using the items in the sterilized bag - another sign of concern. I ended up leaving with a manicure that is uneven (right side of the nail is much lighter than the left), and chunks of paint under my nail and on my fingers (not one speckle, literally a half a dozen). After I paid this place no longer got the benefit of the doubt -- DO NOT GO HERE. There are a million other options in the area. Sidenote: I checked photos before writing this to make sure it was the correct salon (I could not remember the name). My favorite is the photo the owners posted from Yelp informing the business they have bad reviews and offering their services. THe owners imply that the reason they have bad reviews is because of pay-to-play. Yelp's service offerings have nothing to do with the terrible product customers are receiving at this salon. Found that amusing, and clearly the reason nothing is getting better. read more

Since I write Yelp reviews, I'm not sure why I didn't check this place out here before going- this salon has great reviews on Google, which lead me astray. All of the techs are SO unwelcoming. Always on their phones, and I saw several customers come in and stand there, then have to announce "hello?", while a tech would slowly put their phone down. My tech, who appeared more managerial level, was so confused by what I wanted, even though it was an option on their services menu board. I got the 3rd best pedicure and a regular mani, the "Platinum" pedi ( ~$40) and mani (~$12). The pedi was NOT worth the high price- go for regular or splurge somewhere else. The tech felt rushed and bored at the same time. The polish job is lovely, which is why the salon isn't getting only 1 star. The mani was actually $5 more, since I requested a french tip style. I do have longer natural nails, but the tech painted them longer than I've ever seen french done before. I totally could have said something, but I honestly didn't realize I wasn't a fan until later that evening. This is a "live and learn situation", not the salon's fault. HOWEVER, almost every nail has chipped, and this mani was done 5 days ago- seems very short to me. I even added my own coat of Sally Hansen Miracle Shine topcoat, which always does the trick. I likely will not be returning, as there are other salons in the area I would like to try and compare to. read more

If I could give this place no stars, I would. I walked in and nobody said a word to me, so I signed in and picked my polish and sat down. Sitting waiting for about 10 ten minutes and then finally someone says "you want a pedicure?" "I said yes and she looked away. Okkkkk..... 15 more minutes passes and she says "ok, you can come back now." She turns the water on, I sit down and put my feet in. Can you guess what happens? Either A) the water was a nice warm comfortable temperature or B) the water was almost ice cold. For those of you that guessed B, you are correct. I glance around at people while soaking in cold water and see a few people getting pedicures that are almost done..and then they went to get manicures as well. Every single person in there was busy in the middle or beginning of a project. About 10 minutes pass and I decide I'm leaving this joint. Luckily there was a towel at the bottom of the chair, so I didn't have to walk out with soaking wet feet. I get up, dry my feet without looking back. Came back today to get a Manicure but was really disappointed. We walked in and no one said anything to us. They saw us and looked back down. Usually they ask you want you are doing and to sign in but today they didn't say anything. We signed in and sat down to wait. 20 minutes passed and no one came to ask us anything. I feel I have to respond to the review by Naila. I was the customer sitting in the pedicure station when you came into the shop wanting your stained nails fixed. It was my appointment you interrupted. The nail tech was flustered by your demands to fix your nails. She did have you sit at her station and she examined your nails to see if it was something she could easily and quickly correct. You did initially ask kindly, but when you were told that the tech did not have the time (as your nails needed to be totally redone), you became demanding. What did NOT happen was any offer to pay to have the nails redone. It was not the tech's fault that you chose to work with a product that stained not only your nails but all the way to your elbows. At no time did the tech scream. The disrespect was on your part, expecting the tech to stop what she was doing for another customer and give in to your demands. The employees of Victoria Nails 2, in the short time I have been a customer, have been nothing less than kind and professional and I often get compliments on my manicures. Went here on Wednesday evening with my mom. Horrible service. I had an acrylic fill in and the guy I had was extremely rude. He would pull my hand forcefully and push it away. He even shooed away my hands at one point, where he could have politely asked me to move them at any time and I would have. He was clearly in a bad mood and it showed. My mom had a no chip done, and the lady taking off the previous no chip was extremely rude to my mom. My mom saw that a towel had been full of previous skin and nail clippings from the girl before her. The lady was going to have my mom put her hands down into that dirty towel! Disgusting! When my mom asked for a clean towel, she simply folded over the dirty one! I believe the owner was next to her and told the lady to get a new towel, but the lady continued to have a bad attitude the rest of the time. Overall, do not recommend. Was there last week for express pedicure. Went yesterday for express manicure. My nails are are not very long & the lady using the big file was very rough. I kind of pulled my hand away when she was filing because it felt like she was rug burning or slicing my finger. When I told her, she rolled her eyes at me & at her coworker. And continued to be rough & rolled her eyes a couple more times. Rude! Rude! Rude! I will not ever go to this nail salon again. They need to learn professionalism & good customer service skills! I am so shocked this has so many poor reviews but as we know most people are more motivated to post bad experiences than good ones. I have gone to Victoria Nails 2 for years and have never had a bad experience. I am ALWAYS a walk-in and am so appreciative that the staff will tell me the wait time and not lie to make me stick around. Most times there are enough technicians that I have zero wait. Other salons in the area always say 5 or 10 minutes and then you sit there for 30-40 minutes. There are plenty of both mani and pedi stations and it's always clean. They also use disposable liners in the pedi stations which I think is great for keeping it even more sanitary. Polish selection is great too for regular, no chip, and now dip. I very much recommend this place and have referred friends and family who are now also loyal customers. read more

I had my nails done at a different salon, didn't care for that place and when the time came to get them refilled I knew this salon was on my way home from work. I did not have an appointment, which I usually don't like to do but the sign said "Walk Ins Welcome". I was greeted right away, picked out my polish and was seated immediately! BE CAREFUL!!! I just got back from this nail salon where I got a mani/pedi. After the tech removed the cuticles on my hands, I had three fingers that were bleeding. After I washed them I showed her that they were bleeding and she tried to finish the manicure. Not sure how good nail poiish would look on blood. Anywho- I still paid the $37 and they through my bloody towel in the other dirty ones. Gross. The tech was nice enough to tell me that I could finish it at home with my own nail polish. Nice. i went to get my nails done yesterday and this isn't my normal place i go, but i decided, let's try it out, i walk in and all the workers just stare at me, finally someone asks me "how can i help you" so i tell them. as i'm getting my nails done, the man asks me how long i want them, so i told him i do coffin shape, not too long but not too short either. he than asks me what coffin shape looks like....? WHAT?! he proceeds to cutting my nails, TOO SHORT!! after he put the acrylic on, he starts to smooth it out and pricks my skin..! i pull away because obviously it hurt and he tries to pull my finger back forcefully. he was finally done with my one hand and i look at my nails to see if i like them, and they were super thin! i type a lot for work so i asked him, "if they break, and i have to come back and have you fix them, i'm not gonna get charged, right?" and he just looks at me and mumbles something, takes the nail file and starts angrily filing my nails. when he got done, he tossed the nail file next to him and picked up the no chip colors they have and asked me what color as he's tossing that as well. he's finally done with the polish and i take a look at my nails and they look melted! i have never had a bad experience when i got my nails done! First time there, lot's of fun, laughs, and a great experience. My wife and I go there about 4 times a year, and we have never found one single thing to complain about, period. I had a full set done here, the nails were very thick and started to lift came back in two weeks for a fill. The man said he had to take them all off and re do them all, not for the price of a fill, but I have to pay for a entire new set. Pay to redo the bad job they did, the first time. The nail tech was very rude. I am not a confrontational person, I just said I am not paying for a new full set if you have to replace because the original tech did I poor job, I think paying for a fill would be fair.
