I went back same day to have the polish changed and the lady started removing dead skin again after not soaking etc. I didn't know at the time but I must have 10 cuts in each foot from her process. I'm really disappointed with my experience at this salon. I went in for a simple gel manicure, and it was a disaster from start to finish. The nail technician seemed rushed and didn't really listen to what I wanted. The shaping was uneven, and the gel polish started chipping the very next day. I've got dip powder for the past 5 years and I've never ever experienced chipping or wearing - so to happen after a few days is upsetting when you pay about $60. I started coming to Victoria Nails after a friend's recommendation, and I'm so glad I did. The salon itself is on the smaller side with only a few staff members, but the work they do is fantastic. I typically get a dip manicure and it outlasts every other salon I've tried. We're talking 3-4 weeks minimum! The prices are comparable to some higher-end salons I've been to ($45-50 for dip) but I don't mind considering the results last. I highly recommend calling and making an appointment as they take walk-ins but there's almost always a wait. In addition, be sure you have time to spare for your appointment. My visits typically take an hour to 75 minutes depending on whether I'm seen immediately or have to wait for the customer before me to be finished. Lastly, not all nail techs do designs. This place is alright. For me, they hover between a 2 and a 3 star review. I went in on a Saturday afternoon with my sister and surprisingly, we both got seated right away (even though there were only 3 nail techs working). I thought for sure we'd have a long wait. They have many different colors in both gel and dip. I went for a coral color which I found easily. The nail tech my sister got was super fun and outgoing. I got someone who was the polar opposite. Very quiet and didn't want to talk much at all. I spent most of the time trying to butt into my sister and her tech's convo. Overall the tech did a good job and the mani lasted two weeks....which I know is standard but I have been to many places where it lasts for 4 weeks with minimal chipping. So to spend $50 on a mani to last 2 weeks when I'm used to spending the same amount and having it last 4 weeks? Meh. However, my sister said that she has never had gel stay on as long as when she got it done at this place. So I think it's more about the tech that you get. This place is overall okay. Came in on a reservation and only had to wait about 10 minutes total. During that time I scoped the store to find a nail color I wanted, so it wasn't that bad. Overall the quality isn't superb and you could see a little streaking from the nail polish but the service was very nice while I was there. I had the worst customer service and I felt ripped off. I told the lady in front desk that I wanted dip powder and a gel pedicure. The other technician who I believe it could be the manager, while other person was doing my pedi she was taking the gel polish out of my nails. She hurt two of my nails besides that I was texting one of my friend (nothing related to the experience) but she was looking to see my screen and also who called me, which for me it's weirder if I don't know you. I have been to Victoria nails several times and have always been happy with my service. Yesterday I joined two lady friends for a mani-pedi date. We were able to schedule an appointment at 10am, right when the salon opened. I arrived 10 minutes late (because I needed to stop at the ATM) and it was no problem at all. We were all sat promptly in pedicure chairs and all of our pedicures started at the same time. The technicians were all friendly and talkative, which I have found to be unique to this salon. I received the Victoria Pedicure and it was pretty basic. They cut/shaped my nails, removed calluses with a file, used a pumice stone and finished with a massage and one hot towel. The technician prompted me to pick out my shellac color while he was doing my pedicure. This salon cannot automatically match your toe color with shellac, like I have seen at other salons. So my nails and toes were different colors. Two things I think could be improved about the pedicure--the towel they used was maroon with bleach stains. It's more aesthetically pleasing, in my experience, to rest your feet on a white towel. That way you don't have to think about how many pedicures that same towel has been used for in the past. I also would have preferred to have my legs wrapped in two hot towels like I have had at other salons. But my feet turned out smooth and the paint job was just fine. After our pedicures we each got a shellac manicure. My nails happen to be very short (at the moment) and I was impressed with the meticulous nature of my technician, ensuring my manicure was perfect. He spent a lot of time making sure the shellac was even and capping my nails since they were so short. He cut my cuticles (at my request) but at the end he asked me if I "wanted lotion" and I said no. So I skipped out on the hand massage, but was fine with that. As I have said, I've been to Victoria nails before and I will certainly be back. In the past I have had manicure(s) with Shayla, and I really enjoyed talking with her. Although this time I worked with a male technician (not sure of his name) and he did a great job. It's a smaller salon than other's in the area, and there are only 4-5 technicians. They do take appointments, which most salons do not. I have also walked in before and didn't need to wait long. The salon is clean and has a nice environment, but I wasn't able to determine if they sanitize their equipment between clients. I also like that they have very competitive prices! TIP: Make sure you bring cash, you are not able to tip with credit/debit. read more

She called ahead and they said they could do the manicure. They start the manicure by taking off her old nails and then the manager walks over to the nail tech and says they don't have time to put on new gel and that she needs to come back in 3 hours, that's when the shower is so that doesn't work so she is left high and dry...this is equivalent to a mechanic draining your oil and then saying come back in 3 hours, very unprofessional read more

Linda did such a fantastic job on my powder dip nails! Few salons in our area do the dip nails, yet it is extremely popular in other areas of the country. If you haven't tried it yet and are currently using gel polish, these feel a bit thicker but are supposed to last longer and be better for your nails. Linda took extreme care to make sure my nails turned out great and I am so so happy with them!! It is a totally different process than gel and doesn't use any sore is light to cure - I could tell Linda had practiced this technique which is necessary to get it right. I will absolutely go back to Victoria Nails next time I'm looking to get the powder dip done. I also had a pedicure during this visit that I'm very happy with! Came in for the first time in a hurry to have a (dip powder) mani with tips & (shellac) pedi prior to a Vegas trip. I requested a simultaneous job - which they accommodated. Thank you for the quick job well done. Broke a nail over the weekend (my fault) and returned Thursday to have it fixed. Not only did my tech (unsure her name) fix the nail, she redid the paint, reshaped the nails, all in less than 20 minutes. They looked better than the first time. Long story- I got married this weekend. My girls and I wanted fresh mani-pedis for the day so we went to Victoria nails. I made an appointment and we showed up apparently at Salon open. I was three minutes later than I was supposed to be. We still waited for about 15 minutes for them to be ready. No biggie. Then we all got seated. Turns out despite confirming my appointment the night before, one of their nail techs wasn't there. Waited about 15 more mins for my services to start. Very small selection of gel colors to choose from, so I decided to get French tips. Things went downhill from there. We spoke to them and chatted amongst ourselves about the fact that I was getting married the next day. We were all in really chipper moods. They knew my wedding was the next day. My nail tech used a grinder to remove my toe polish- not gel polish. Ouch- she hit my skin. Ouch again. My sisters nail tech used the grater in her feet, and my sister had cracked feet. It hurt her so bad that she yelped, and teared up and nicely asked her tech to not use that because it hurt too much. The tech went right back to it and hurt her again. Still we smiled. Nail techs are supposed to be able to see what tools are appropriate. Not here apparently. We move into the polish phase of my toes- the other three gals were already getting their manis- and I notice that there are lumps of polish in my toes. I asked the tech to try and fix them. She didn't. Still I smile. I'm getting married tomorrow! We move on the manis. Out comes the grinder again. Now I've had this done before, it was gel polish. I kinda get that. Ouch! She hit my skin! Ouch there she goes again! But I smile. Only good positive energy today ladies! She does the mani- it did not look like she used gel polish for the nail bed portion of the French. But I have never had a French before so ? Right away I see cloudy streaks from the white in the clear. I point this out and she said she would fix it. She doesn't. More streaks. At this point I'm 2 hours in. I need to get going so I'm just going to accept things and move on. No one will be looking that closely at my nails- I'm gonna be in my wedding dress! By now, the other three have paid and left. My sister paid for my nails. The tech finished up about 2.5 hours in. I get up to leave and they ask me to pay again. I said didn't my sister pay for mine? Oh that's right. She did. So we are good then? Yes! Ok. I hand them cash for a tip, smile, say thank you and walk out the door thinking "wow, that was disappointing but only positive vibes today!". I go back and talk to my gals. That was nuts right? Yes but we gotta decorate! Cool. Cool. Next day- Now it my wedding day. My phone rings multiple times. I miss calls. I'm getting cinched into my dress, curlers in, makeup session. Run- we are going to be late to my wedding! Get hitched- amazing beautiful glorious day! Reception, dance the night away. Finish with tacos and late night margaritas with my new husband. . Listen to voicemails. "This is Victoria nails- we didn't get paid properly". What? How does that happen? Try calling them Sunday. Try calling them Monday. Closed. Tuesday- Get a hysterical message from my sister, they ran her card again on Sunday or Monday, another $72. The first charge was for $117, two toes, one mani (she did not have a mani). She did not approve this charge. They just took her number off her receipt from the day before and ran it! Now I'm messaging them on FB. They responded this morning saying they will contact me after the Holiday. Now I'm furious. I tell them that if there is a missing charge, big big if, I will pay it. But now that these shenanigans have occurred, look at this nail job and tell me if you think this is ok. Response is- "I don't see any issues." You tell me ladies. They said they are Hotlist material while we were there. I would say more like Notlist. read more

Not very nice looking. Very unprofessional staff. Some lady came in for an appointment she made, the staff who was suppose to do it - wasn't there (she was suppose to be back in 15 minutes). When the customer asked if someone else could start her toes - the three other employees essentially pretended like they didn't care or hear her - she asked probably 3 times if someone wanted to start her toes and the other employees just sat on their phones - no one helped her.
