I enjoyed the way he spoke to the other associates. They do not offer eyelash extensions like some nail salons but I will not let that keep me from making this my new regular spot! The lady that did her mani pedi didn't really speak much English so the nail tech that was doing my nails explained to her in detail what she wanted. We both got our pedicures and moved on to the nail technicians stations. My daughter and I were not seated together so when I finished my gel manicure I walked over and noticed that my daughter's nails were not French manicure. She is only 16 and wasn't really sure of the process. Well, we were told it was too late to go back and she needed to continue with the solid pink nails. My daughter was so disappointed. I was a little heart broken for her seeing her upset. The other thing that bothers me about this place is that I'm not so sure they are using clean equipment. I didn't see any sterilization and no one opened any new packaging.

I called yesterday morning to see if I needed an appointment in order to fix the cluster f#@! from last week and was told by the owner to just come in, no appointment was needed. I received a new acrylic overlay last month so I shouldn't have had any gaps in the refill done last week which I did, the refill was not done correctly along the sides of my nails nor all the way to my cuticles. I thought about the rectification I was offered which was to redo the nail polish free of charge but when questioned about receiving a refund, credit, or gift certificate for my time/effort I was told they wouldn't/couldn't do that, which is a crock of baloney in my opinion . The manager I spoke with today gave me some cock and bull story about the problem with the acrylic being like it is, is because it has been a week and regrowth. I offered to send pictures taken last weekend of my nails. Then I was told I had ingrown toenails is why my toenails were sensitive which is also a crock! It's because the nail tech didn't know her backend from a hole in the ground obviously was afraid to do a proper pedicure! Mina was my technician, unsure of the tech's name with my daughter. They sat us in two different areas of the salon. Mina was great! She was quiet, didn't talk much but that's ok with me. I was having trouble deciding between two colors and she happily assisted me with picking one. She was professional and did a fantastic job. I'm not sure, but I didn't really get a manicure although I asked for one (and paid for it). It was more of a color change. No cuticles cut, just nails trimmed and filed and painted. Maybe things have changed and the usual manicure is something you have to ask for??? This is the second place I've been to recently that I asked and paid for a manicure with dip nails, but didn't get the whole manicure treatment.
