They were all arranged by size, so shopping was fairly easy, although I never knew before how far off dress sizes are from swimsuit sizes. I had to try on a couple of things that were just tiny on me before I figured out what size of swimsuit I should have been looking at. I thought the saleslady could have been a little more on the ball with the sizes; she was nice enough, but definitely hands-off when it came to helping me find something. It could have been that she knows few women enjoy swimsuit shopping and decided to hang back unless I sounded a specific cry for help. Anyway, I was left at leisure to try on what I liked. It was nice to just be able to throw the rejects in a bucket in the changeroom, rather than try to figure out how they went back on their hangers. I did eventually narrow the field down to two, but thought it was strange that when I went to pay for the chosen suit, the clerk looked at me and asked, "You know this is the more expensive one? Did you look at the price tag?" Ummm, yes - and I'm taking it, right? Kind of an odd question. Although I'm impressed that she knew the prices on her stock that well. Kind of makes me want to go back and see what other swimwear knowledge is stored up in there.

I'd given up looking for that "perfect fit" years ago, but my mom spontaneously brought me to Forever Yours last week and the staff immediately made me feel welcome and secure. Erika, who helped with all my fittings, was absolutely amazing. There were a lot of options to go through, and I never felt rushed during the process. Erika took the time to point out and explain what a properly-fitting bra should look and feel like. Plus, they understood my style right away! I left with a much-needed confidence boost and two bras that I was actually excited to wear. As advised, I wore the new bras at home for a few hours each to ensure everything was all good. One of them ended up being too tight, so I went back to exchange it. Back to the fitting room! Again, Erika was there to help me out -- in a genuine, unhurried manner. From all the staff, you really feel taken care of. I cannot stress enough how important and valuable that is. This is the kind of bra store I wish I knew existed in my early teen years. Diva is Winnipeg's best lingerie destination, and it is wonderful to see this curator of undies here in Vancouver.
