I am happy to have a Victoria Secret close by, since this isn't possible everywhere. But for store locations, this definitely isn't one of my favorites...just the closest one. The customer service lacks...and that is being kind. Lucky for me, if or when I must step foot in the store I know what I'm after and just go get it if they have it...if not, I leave. I have been shopping at Victoria Secret since before most of the employees were born in there and before the internet became a thing for shopping. I think they should consider the fact that some folks are not new to the brand and they know what they are talking about. Things do change, things no longer exist, etc. and being familiar with older styles to help put a customer into a newer, similar fit or style(s) helps. I get not knowing a style from a decade or more ago, but I don't get not knowing a style/item that was around just a few years ago...or just a year or less. The "we've never sold anything like that" is a horrible answer since we know better, the "I don't know" answer is even worse...but the disappearing act since an employee just doesn't want to help is awful. The only advice I can give to anyone reading this if you are like me and have been shopping with VS a long time...call! Call the toll free number and you'll be surprised at the assistance you will receive. They are very helpful, unlike the stores like this one and are 5-stars hands down. Then, if need be you can order it or you can brave the store to see if they have it. Again, I'm just happy there is a location here...it's just sad that this location lacks. I still like VS of course, I've just had many other better experiences at other stores across the US. If you like VS too or are new to VS, please don't let whatever experience you may encounter at this store turn you off on the brand...just shop online or another store. TMI Side Note (and I hope someone at VS HQ reads this): I really miss VS clothes and I'm sad they discontinued selling clothes. Best jeans and tops ever! Loved the dresses too! Based on the large size of the store and the friendly customer service, this is my favorite VS in the Jacksonville area. Because of the size of the store, it's very easy to move around in and you're not bumping into a clothing rack at every turn. The store is well stocked, well organized, and clean. Management does a good job at having the proper number of employees in the store, so I'm never left searching for an available associate. read more

Coming to this particular Victoria's Secret is the reason why I only like to shop them online. I'm full figured, so I wear the largest bra and cup size they carry as it does fit well for me. I only come during the semi annual sale to snag a deal on the otherwise expensive bras. The layout of the store is typical of a Victoria's Secret store, with different types of bras, panties and other intimate wear throughout, and all the body lotion, sprays and other accessories in one area near the registers. Store is usually organized with the exception when it's semi annual sale time. Reason why I didn't give this particular store more stars is the customer service. They are very discriminative when it comes to looks and sizes and will offer assistance to customers who fit the same look as their models. This is EVERY TIME. Please do yourself a favor and shop their website instead if your a bigger, busty gal like myself. Plus you'll get more bang for your buck if you use Shopkick or other third party apps/websites to get some cash back on the expensive undies. read more

Being that I just left the store and no one even spoke to me... My experience in Victoria's Secret today was Ahmazing! Nicole (hope I spelled that right) was so pleasant. She greeted me, offered help and gave me space to look which I so appreciated. When I needed help she offered suggestions based on my needs, not just an upsell. This store has very little selection of lotions, soaps and body sprays compared to the other locations. This is the only thing I can buy from VS BECAUSE OF MY SIZE. I have written corporate many times asking them why do they not have the full figure size underwear and bras. Mums the word. Not a word back at all. That last time I was here the lady tried to sell me a bra. I told her they do not have my size, she still wanted to work with me. It would of been a waste of my time and hers. This is why my CC IS ONLY USED ONCE OR TWICE A YEAR FOR Christmas gifts for my lady friends, and then I pay the card off. Only if they had my size.....I give the employees a 100% great service. How can anyone hate this place? The staff is very friendly and the have a pretty big variety. Even for someone like me who is nowhere near being petite I can still manage to find some cute things in here. The only issue I have is that they never seem to have enough large sized underwear in stock or corset style special things that are wide enough or in the right size. Horrible! I've never been treated like that! My mother was in the store but had forgotten her card, so she asked the sales lady if they would be able to let me in so she could pay. I understand because of COVID there's only a certain amount going in. The manager agreed and told the lady at the front to let me in, so she did. Unbeknownst to me, the lady at the front who counts people had someone follow me in to see if I was actually going to pay or if I just wanted to skip the line. When I got there, my mother was showing me the things she was going to buy. Since she was showing me her stuff they thought I was shopping and the lady at the front started bad mouthing me to another customer in line. I have never been disrespected like that. I spent more than $500. When I came out, the lady said "you is wrong, that was bad that you skipped the line". I told the sales lady that helped me to talk to her and she collaborated my story, I never got an apology I just got an "oh" read more

Every time I come to this mall, I never skip this place. Good size store. Fairly organized and the staff are friendly and helpful. Even during crazy times, they are attentive and make sure you get what you want if they have it. Definitely always have the staff measure you every few months for your bra size. Different materials means different sizes. Some run big and some run small. Love the underwear selection and they will have good sales from time to time. They best time is usually the end of the year and semi-annual safe because they always need to get rid of older stock which means good prices. read more

Ok if someone is in charge of greeting people they are supposed to be friendly and be nice towards the guests. That's literally the only thing they have to do greet people and be friendly. I went with my friends and the woman who was supposed to "greet" people was so rude and arrogant towards us. She was being disrespectful towards everyone and kept rolling her eyes. Now I thought it was just us she was being disrespectful but it was towards basically towards every person who looked Spanish.If she doesn't want to do greeting then she could've asked to be somewhere else not somewhere where you're literally welcoming the guests, she's just driving them away. I regret buying VS now because of her attitude towards others, now I don't know if she was being just racist or just plain rude but you're not supposed to greet someone with rudeness and being disrespectful. This morning I visited this wonderful store and was helped by two young ladies who went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I wanted in just the right size. They were available and helpful but never intrusive. I was made to feel as if I was the only customer in the store. I was not alone in the store and noticed these two treated each and every customer equally well. The last time I was in a VS it was in another state and can't say the service was bad because there was absolutely NO SERVICE. So today was a special treat. This was my first time at The Avenues Mall in Jacksonville; I'm not from here. (Staff at my hotel suggested this mall) Trinity at Victoria Secret was soooo patient with me and helpful. She fitted me accurately, helped me pick out the best bras for my pregnancy based on Victoria Secret knowledge as well as her personal experience, and told me about the deals. I really enjoy shopping here. I went in this store probably six weeks in a row prior to my husband returning home from deployment and racked up on all types of things. From lingerie, to swim suits, to perfume. The ladies were very helpful and even helped me find my sister size in swimsuits when they ran out in my regular size. Went shopping today to find some special items for my upcoming wedding. I asked one of girls if the town center would have something in a different size and she explained that they would be able to assist at the counter. When I got to the check out I asked again and was told that the manager would have to do that. My cashier stepped to the next register where the manager was standing talking to another employee and she said that she would give me the number to call. Thanks but no thanks. I can find the number easily myself I was just surprised at the"leadership" demonstration from the management and how unhelpful she was. read more

If you are "older (under 50)" don't bother going in - the clerks totally ignore you - even saunter by without a word. They will however, wait on younger people. This is the third time I've been in - same thing happens each time. When checking out I stood behind someone and was told" this is not a line - go stand in the line" - looked over to one other person and went behind her...no signage - no ropes - nothing to indicate that is where you stand to get waited on. They had the item I needed which was the only positive. Not sure what happened to customer service at this store - the manager needs to train these girls better, or get trained herself....
