(Let me just say, any place that serves free food already gets a thumbs up in my book.) Walk into the auditorium to live music with colored lights and big screens (Hello, Sunday morning concert). There are people also in the auditorium to help you find a seat. The service itself wasn't bad. The day I went, there was a guest speaker from a church in LA. His "sermon" (if you can even call it that. It sure didn't feel like the typical sermon) was well-spoken with relevant points for the religious and non-religious. Faith Church is non denominational and I find the lack of doctrine nice. Teaching is based upon the Word of God (Bible)and Jesus as a relationship. I find the message by Pastor Josh Cossey important in my life, he consistently gives you points that engage your heart and mind all week, makes you hunt for answers in the Bible and yeah, sometimes question yourself. The worship music is great IMHO, mostly recent songs but then a old classic gospel sneaks in. Don't sit in front of me, I'm a terrible singer. Faith Church has a nice age diversity but it's a young church, about 45% children under 18. They have a great children's program. I have to admit that I teach a 5th and 6th grade boys group but I'm not an employee. This is a new location for Faith Church, moving from NW Highway and Council Road. Give it a try.

The pastor does not believe that we are eternally secure. He believes you can lose salvation if you don't obey enough. He considers following Jesus what saved you. Not by grace through faith in Christ alone as Ephesians 2:8-9 clearly states. Salvation is not a gift of God according to him but only according to our cooperation in obeying. I talked to him myself and this is what he said.
