They attention and care they provide is second to none! As with most camps, they hurt many teens which is also great for them to learn but there's also plenty of adults to ensure all goes well! I always look forward to working there because it's such a great day! I highly recommend them and guarantee you'll be equally impressed! If I had young children, I wouldn't hesitate to enroll them!! Anyone who says different more than likely is the type that doesn't accept responsibility for their actions and inactions!! I could ramble on forever but hopefully you get the idea! She's made wonderful, lasting friendships with the other campers and really looks forward to every day. In a small camp like this, the staff makes or breaks it. This staff is unbelievable- in addition to being great leaders, truly show them kindness and love. There's great staff longevity too. We see the same smiling faces year after year. There are plenty of activities to keep the kids engaged all day long. The drop-off and pick-up is seamless. The facility itself is clean, organized and adorable. The kids get plenty of opportunities to play and move in the fresh air with plenty of shaded structure and indoor room when the weather dictates. The biggest indication for me that it's a great place is my daughter's unwillingness to leave at the end of the day. You must make a reservation online, and you have a 1.5 hour time slot. Splash pads can get packed on a hot day, so this was a great way to control the crowd. Once your time is up there's an enormous playground right next door. There is so much to see and do that you could easily spend hours here without getting bored. Overall this is a fantastic township recreation area. It's clean and well-maintained, and there are endless play options for kids.

The trails are perfect for walking your furry dogs, in-line skating, cycling, easy walking and pushing strollers. There is also a repair station with a tire pump and tools found near the basketball courts. The Challenger Place has finally finished and is a designed playground for kids who are blind or visually impaired. Their sport courts include tennis and basketball courts, as well as an in-line skating rink. The athletic field is available for rental and may be used for baseball games but not for practices. I have heard they have swimming pools but I personally did not see it. Instead, I saw a spray ground (water-enhanced playground) which was to open in mid-May but given our current situation with the COVID-19 outbreak, this is doubtful for mid-May 2020 due to the pandemic restrictions. Normally, it would open mid-May through early September. I would imagine the busiest time to be there with kids is during the height of summer because summer camps are held there by the Monmouth County Park System and Challenged Youth Sports from Middletown.

They were never bored, but they were certainly sleeping like babies at night. If you can, take a tour of their Marlboro facility - - it is AMAZING! The pool facility is like something you would see at a resort!! Also, the counselors are great - ensuring all the kids felt included and were having fun, yet while keeping safety top of mind!
