Baymar Farms is a lesson stable on Harbor Road in Morganville right off of Route 9. I hadn't…read moreridden in a number of years and was looking to get my legs back before I delved further into the horse world and Baymar Farms was a great place to do it. When I called the, the owner Ellie answered the phone quickly and enthusiastically, referring me to her instructor Lu Ann. At my first lesson they matched my ability perfectly. Lu Ann was terrific - patient, knowledegable, and encouraging - just the right touch with me. She was great with her more advanced riders as well. At each lesson I was given a different horse and all were responsive and well trained. I was able to get a feel for how different each horse was to be ridden. These patient, safe lesson horses are great for those just starting out or just restarting out like myself, lol. I bought a lesson card and the pricing was fair. Overall- good pricing, Good horses and well kept stables. Recommend!

He took some photos for us while on the trail and upon return. Got to do a little jog at one point. All in all a very fun experience especially for first timers or for someone like myself who hasn't rode in many years. Thank You Pat and the whole Circle A Team! :)

He came out with a dagger and a machete and I was genuinely terrified. Just me him and my friend. I felt extremely unsafe but apparently he needed them because the wild turkeys attack? I understand that it might be realistic to carry these things but he was waiving it around and smacking the logs while saying some of the most inappropriate things about different groups of people. The conversation was very interesting....I'm really open to experiencing different people and different views. I'm muslim I wear nikab and I know it's definitely not normal here and it can be quite a shock for others. I'm happy and I'm definitely a super peaceful loving person, i just really love and believe in my faith. I love Jesus pbuh and believe in a lot of the same prophets. To cut this short... The first thing the owner of this stable and guide said to me was "where are you from... egypt....good, i dont wanna hear non of that Palestinian ". I was flabbergasted he said this as I was getting on the horse and he just showed me his dagger and machete lol. I stay far away from politics and Im really just coming to ride horses. Dont worry though he also talked to me about every ethnicity and group of people he h8s, mexicans, Indians, Pakistanis, Jewish people in general(proceeds to tell me how all they care about is money and are sc*ms that try to low ball him), feminists, gays, democrats that "make you k*ll babies", people in Congo "ch*p peoples heads off"...etc the list very much goes on. Regardless of my agreement or disagreement to these comments....I just didn't imagine that my horseback riding experience to be so uncomfortable. There was no professionalism at all. I feel flabbergasted that this man would feel comfortable saying all these things to a person he just met. So just KEep all this in mind if you consider going here. He really didnt say anything bad about Egyptians or muslims (to me !!!) He actually said to me that I seemed like a righteous, open minded person. I didnt tell him there because i had to humbly nod to everything he said but my husband IS Palestinian but hey if a guy with a dagger and machete tells you he h*tes anyone. I h*te them too! no room for disagreement im just a girl trying to make it out the woods alive I was praying to god the entire time bec of how scared i was. Stay safe folks

I got a package of 5 30 minute lessons…read moregifted by my boss, after I used them I brought my daughter for a whole 60 minutes lesson, I paid in cash to the owner gentleman and instructor, 60 dollar cash, I have my text conversation about how can I pay the lesson and telling her (the owner), Carol Ann that I will bring cash for it, I paid and we left it at that...all good , this was past novem. In December I received another gift from my boss, 3 30 minute lessons, this time they did it in a paper printed in form of gift card, no expiration no nothing...today, august first I'm trying to schedule 2 of my leftover gifted 20 min class and the owner says it's expired...no thing was said to my boss qhen bought for me and it says nothing on actual gift card...after a lot of back and forth she agrees to "honor" and let me have the lessons but she tells me I just have 1 because back in November I took a whole 1 h lesson and I left without payment...so the owner logic is that she has no record of that 1h lesson I paid to her husband in cash so she us subtracting a 30 min lesson from my "expired gift package in December. I'm explaining her that it's not right ,showing her our conversation aboutthat 1h lesson I was paying cash, howshe never follow up if it's true I left the facility without paying as she states, no message about this supposed incident eyc...and she just doesn't care...since it's not.on her venmo paypal.records ,I didn't pay that 60min class and she is doing me a favor by "honoring" the only 1 30 min "expired lesson" out of the 2 I had... I'm so done Ihaven ever seen a business where besides being managed so poorly, looks like they don't care about being wrong and they just scam your money...never again!!!!
