I tired easily and walked with a limp. After 6 months of Pilates twice a week, I have no pain and can walk like I did when I was younger. Jodi is the teacher I use. She has helped me a lot because she started slow with what I could do and I built up strength and flexibility over time. She would also tailor our workouts to how I was feeling that day. She knew what areas needed strengthening and what exercises to recommend. It is not an exaggeration to say taking her classes have changed my outlook on life. I will never take for granted my ability to move easily without pain and I never want to go backwards.

The class was at 8:15pm on a Friday; we did the Signature50: Full Body, which I believe was a more advanced class. Although it was a good workout, it was hard. The instructor was nice and guided people as needed. The music was great and on point, but we couldn't hear her over the loud music. Also, she had us move to the middle reformer machines, I would have felt more comfortable at the end. This is truly a great workout and targets muscles with smaller movements that compound workouts miss. Upon signing up for the class, an email and text message are sent with information, including the code to enter. They also mention that there are charges if canceling or no-showing. They have solidcore merchandise available for purchase with the card on file. They also provide items such as hair ties, bobby pins, hear buds (if the music is too loud), etc. The customer service is average, there was one person at the front and she wasn't very engaging. The business is located on the lower level of a larger building.There is free parking in front of and around the business. There is also a parking garage with some free parking (check the signs!). Would I return? absolutely.

I asked if…read moreI could work with Myriam since she has a background in this and I've done PT before (was hit as a pedestrian in 2002 and went thru other PT's and had some surg's too). I knew it was the right thing for me. Also, helped with strength in general - especially "unguarding" the guarded prior to surgery! I still work on breathing daily, and not "hunching" my shoulders out of protection due to my neck - what a wonderful awakening she led me thru...very patient among the stubborn (no I can't, my body does not do that, I'm afraid, etc). One could not ask for a better path leader! I do not give these stars lightly - I sorely miss the true workouts I got and the weight I lost as a side effect (yes, side effect!!! Yah!). You will not go wrong - she can mold a routine/workout for you or you can join a class - flexibility in so many ways!

Went here on Saturday as a private event with some community groups I work with. The staff was kind…read moreand blocked off the businesses hours to ensure we got privacy (this was a Muslim sisters event so it was hijab friendly since they put down the shades for us and allowed us to cover the doors for the event). The space is small when you enter and see the desk and apparel, but there was enough space for us to bring in additional table (we had someone come make a grazing table for after the class, so this is great if you have an event and need a snack table afterwards). BUT once you get inside the room, its quite large and spacious! Because of the 14 people (capacity) attending our session, the staff took their time to check everyone in, and gave us our full hour of pilates despite starting late. I loved that the class wasn't very basic and spent doing stretches the entire time - it was definitely a work out, and Joyce checked on everyone's form and gave each and every one of us the proper attention needed while making sure we were challenged. She educated us about the types of classes offered and seemed very passionate :) The staff is all women and this location is quite far out my way, but I had a lovely time! I'm hoping to be able to return and have my free intro class since we paid for the private event. Also there are restrooms in the back and equipment is cleaned between sessions. I'd recommend!
