(Amazing venue may I add.) From our first conversation with Thierry, to the day after our wedding when he was able to take down his equipment, our time with him was always positive. He is very professional. He has been DJing events for quite some time, so he knows the ropes. He has a thorough contract that protects the client and himself. He is very thorough. He drove down to Baja multiple times to tour the venue and meet with the necessary people. We had multiple phone calls with him to go over our wedding timeline, to get the details down, and to talk over music. He is proficient in Spanish! A huge help when communicating with local vendors and wedding coordinators. He also took it upon himself to speak with our other vendors when he had questions or needed to verify something, which was a huge help. He is attentive. He listened to our wants, hopes, and ideas. If he doesn't think something will work, or has a better suggestion, he will let you know, and it is appreciated. After all, he is the professional. He has a lot of equipment, and if he doesn't own it, he will rent it. We got married in the middle of the vineyard, and he was able to accommodate. He is knowledgeable. He knows his music, because he loves music! It's truly one of his passions! We wanted a party, with the dance floor packed nonstop, and that is what we got! (Our fun guests didn't hurt either.) We provided him with a list of songs for dinner hour, and for the dance party, and while he definitely included our picks, he had some greats ones that blended well. He goes along with the vibe of the event. It was in Mexico, so obviously you need some Mexican songs, with a congo line and all. After the show we approached him to thank him for the great night and if he would be open to DJing our wedding - to our great delight he said that he would be interested! We wanted Steve to be our DJ primarily because he was very skilled and we loved his taste but he also ended up being amazing to work with in other ways. Steve is very organized and an excellent communicator, he answered all of our questions very clearly, anticipated our needs, and worked with us, the venue, and other vendors to ensure that our wedding went exactly how we wanted it to. His knowledge of music is also extremely extensive and his passion and appreciation for music of all genres was very evident. In the best possible way, he's a gentleman and also a total music and gear nerd, which was exactly what we needed! On the day of the wedding, Steve was professional and executed flawlessly. We had some specific requests that required him to time his transitions with certain aspects of the ceremony and he was right on the mark. The rest of the night went just as well, he played through all of our requests, seamlessly transitioning between tracks and keeping the dance floor going. Later in the evening, when we wanted him to have more free reign and elevate the bass, he once again delivered exactly what we wanted - the same vibes from the night we met at AC Lounge, to the point where the venue had to kick us out at the end :) Overall, we could not have been happier with Steve and we would highly recommend him for any event.

A month later, and my friends are still messaging us about our wedding Dj and how much fun they had dancing ALL NIGHT! My wife and I have a very eclectic taste in music where we wanted Arabic, Persian, hip hop, electronic and fun wedding songs. As you can imagine, we were a little worried since most djs do not have this type of range but Deejay Al not only has the range but the insane mixing skills to keep the party going.
