A great sunny/shaded pull off park for pups to get some energy out. Ground cover are small rock/pebbles. Water on site for drinking and cooling off- but without grass, watch for the dustiness off the rocks getting onto your dog's coat. Poop bags are actually stocked to use. Decently sized, but nothing for your all-out sprinters.

I live about a mile away and my dog likes it here. It's nice because it's not muddy like other parks I've been to. Decent size the only downside is the lack of streams (my dog loves swimming) I come here at least once every week.

Dog park in February is still very full!

One of the best dog parks in the Vienna/Fairfax area. The people and dogs are friendly and there's a group of regulars around 5-6:30. It's definitely one of the higher volume dog parks if you're looking for more interaction.l - a mix of big dogs (a few German shepherd regulars) and young pups - The park is all gravel and there's a few agility structures for the dogs to play on. - There's always an abundance of poop bags and some owners leave a roll as well. - There are motion-sensored lights that turn on at night - Large bucket of water that's always filled

Ask the Community - Vienna Dog Park

My puppy Lucky has been attacked at 2 other dog parks for being too playful, so I'm scared to take him around other dogs now. He's an 8 month old 40lb Lab mix, would he fit in or be ok here?

Awww I'm sorry to hear that. I've only been to this park once but the pet owners that I encountered here seem responsible and kind and so were their pups. I think your pup would be okay here but I would probably keep a close eye on him. Sometimes… Read more

This park was originally all mulch so there was a problem with pooling water but now it's all gravel.

If you drive past the yellow Hunter House and curve right to the last parking lot, you'll find the entrance to a giant soccer/lacrosse multi-purpose field. The wooded trails here are nice and will take you back toward the softball fields and Curry Field (artificial turf). Nottoway has restrooms near the picnic area (which has a playground that's nice for kids). On the other side, you'll see two more baseball fields and then a series of tennis courts in the distance. I have nice memories of this park when my two sons (15 years, 13 years) played on the baseball fields for Vienna Little League. I think a highlight of this park is that it is not overly crowded on Saturday afternoons.

It's kind of a ho hum park. Sometimes they do have a festival, which can add life to it. Yet mostly…read morethis is for baseball fields. Here you can get folks in a pickup game, if a organization doesn't have a field permit. I like the open space though, and am glad it's not more multi million dollar houses. There are also tennis and basketball courts. The trails here aren't anything special, but glad they exist. All of the facility, to include the bathrooms are super clean. They have pavilions for picnics and the like. There's plenty of parking as well. It won't win any awards, but it's here for you to try some sports or kite flying out.
