This hotel is for a getaway weekend possibly romantic or family, your choice. *food- breakfast aren't good, so just drink maybe a smoothie or juice, don't waste your time. Dinner is better, not so many choices but it's ok for a 2 or 3 days. *Happy hours sucks, just 2 choices per day ! One beer and one rum. * the smoothies are very good and the drinks 2! Prices are extremely good! Go to the bar and enjoy the view , weather and fresh air. *rooms - clean rooms, nice shower and beds are comfy. * tv - only 12 channels! So don't come here to watch tv lol * beach ! Careful! Only for surfers! Just go to another beach , Puerto Rico is an island, we are surrounded by water! Beaches everywhere! Lol.. * parking - they have a very big parking lot! And safe! *pool - best thing in the hotel! It's beautiful!!!! Amazing ! *pets ! You have to pay 25 dollars per day ! It's ok for the weekend ! The people here are so accommodating; they have 3 restaurants on the property and they are all equally good. from formal to casual you can't go wrong eating at any of them. i'm a marriott member and had some points that i used for one night and im happy i took advantage of it. unfortunately they are converting the property to a 4 seasons and it will be far more expensive to stay here. The st. regis operates like a luxury hotel should. i would give it 10 stars if i could. i used the spa facilities and the massages we got were first notch. and jesselyn was a great nature guide that took us around the property. we are sad to be leaving.

So here goes!…read more For kids There is an animal shelter with dogs and cats and specialist who will educate you about the animals. There is a small farm with goats to feed. My young kids were delighted with this. There is a boathouse area with free kayaking, standup paddle boarding and inflatable playground. This boathouse also offers more high-tech water sports equipment for rent. For families There are adult bikes and children's bikes on the resort that are complementary. There are golf carts that take you from one area to another as everything is pretty spread out. For example, from the main gate to the hotel is a little less than a mile. Only two free breakfast are included with Marriott status. So if you are traveling with kids, you have to pay $22 plus tip for their breakfast every morning. They have a few sand toys to share out on the beach. The large pool area does have Shallow parts for children. For adults The beach here is gorgeous though setback many yards from the hotel. The pool does not have an adult only area that I know of. There is a nice but small hot tub. You have access to all of the spa amenities every day as a guest here. There is a small gym next to the spa and a larger gym called the wellness center which is about Half a mile from the main area. Food issues The main issue here as many other of viewers have stated is the lack of decent food selection. Sea grapes is decent but only open until 5 PM. Paro gets terrible reviews and is excessively overpriced Mediterranean food. However, an Uber from the hotel to Rio Grande is not expensive around $10 and they are good restaurants, but you must do your own research. I recommend Los kioskos de luquillo Which have many food options and it is basically a beach party scene better for adult adults than kids. Service and butler service overall were spotty. We were given incorrect information multiple times. Don't forget to take a ton of cash to tip-wish they would include this in the final bill. Loved the ocean view, comfy beds, and spacious bathroom. Overall a nice stay and would consider coming back if the food options improved a bit!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! DIRTY, UNPROFESSIONAL, DARK, NO WIFI…read more We were only here for one night and encountered an OBSCENE amount of issues. The main ones including lack of cleanliness, an infestation of insects (spiders, at least 40 mosquitos in our unit, termites, a cockroach, and tons of dead millipedes in this tiny place), URINE in the toilet when we arrived, a very unpleasant, stifling smell of bleach, completely unreliable WiFi, and the bedding and pillowcases did not appear clean. It was also MUCH smaller than the pictures in the listing. We slept on top of some clothing we brought and the dirty (but cleaner than the sheets) towels from the bathroom for two hours before waking up at 5 am to leave. It was not the trip we'd hoped for at all. We really wanted to work this out with the host, Samantha and not involve Airbnb or publicly express our experience, but we've been left with no choice. We wrote Samantha on Airbnb the night we encountered the issues and the next day (day we left). No response. We called Tradewinds (the B&B this is in) six times over that next week to rectify the situation, but Samantha never returned our calls. We emailed her after a week of no responses with all the photos we'd originally sent and a request for a conversation. She finally responded and told us to write this all in the Airbnb chat. We did. She never replied and denied our refund request. She wouldn't offer us anything and ignored us completely. Our stay itself was worth one star, but we didn't expect this customer service to be so disheartening. We've never had a stay or experience like this and have stayed in $10 hostels that were cleaner and nicer and we paid $200 for this! As a business owner/host, I would never let my guests get to this point - let alone have the experience they had. We are extremely disappointed in every bit of this experience. There are much cuter, cleaner and kinder places to stay in Vieques.

My family and I stayed at Villa Flamenco Beach for 3 nights and it was a dream. It was so…read moreunbelievably beautiful to stay in a beachfront property on Flamenco Beach!! Also, the price was very reasonable for what you are getting. The room was comfortable and we loved that we had a kitchen to cook in. We went to the local grocery store to get food and prepared it in the kitchen. We also loved that there was no TV in our room because we never watch TV on vacation since it reminds us of being back home and it wastes the trip away. lol :) We loved that they also provide beach towels, aside from the bath towels. My daughters enjoyed swinging in the hammock in the front of the property. Juan greeted us personally and showed us around when we first arrived, and we felt very safe staying here. The property feels very private and quiet. It is away from the public beach entrance side of Flamenco Beach which is nice because the beach in front of this property doesn't get so crowded. While staying at Culebra we took a water taxi to Culebrita Island for a half-day trip, and that was breathtaking and a must-do. Staying at Villa Flamenco Beach was a wonderful peaceful retreat away from city-life and we loved every minute!! The location can't be beat! We HIGHLY recommend Villa Flamenco Beach to anyone. It is a gem!
