Everyone was very friendly. The food was outstanding. All the seafood was very fresh. The risottos were also tasty. I had the Argentinian Churrasco. The flavor of chimichurri was perfect on the skirt steak. The mussels were the biggest hit and are still talked about. The prices are very reasonable. We left feeling satisfied.

We arrived around 8pm and didn't have reservations but we were seated within 5 minutes. We shared the seafood pasta and it was one of the best dishes I've ever had. My friend and I ordered one and split it. I had more than enough for my half portion! I will say service is on island time so don't expect your food to come out quickly. However the staff was wonderful and it was worth the wait! While waiting for our pasta we decided to order the large portion of the muscles. We had more than enough to split as well. The bread they give you to dip into the muscles were crispy but still soft in the middle. Additionally, a side came with the seafood entree. Because we split the entree, we only received one side. My friend had their side salad which she said was heavenly and she wanted a larger bowl of it. The salad dressing on the side was homemade and delicious. Finally, we ended our meal with their creme brûlée. It was a smaller portion and didn't come with fruit but I was still happy to be eating it! Because we split each course of the meal the end bill was super manageable!

The property is right on the water with outdoor tables. The balcony from the room overlooks the bay. The room was clean and the staff very friendly. It's also right next to the Dinghy Dock, a popular restaurant and bar. A lot of the locals hang out at this bar... it has a TV too. We paid $100 for the room in the off season (November). We were told that it goes for $140 during the high season. I will stay here next time i'm on Culebra.

I love the open seating area with hammocks, lounge chairs, and other seating arrangements. The staff is very friendly though not always the most helpful (for example, the light above our bed didn't work and the receptionist promised to send someone the next day who never came). But besides those small things and the fact that it's not a luxury hotel, it's a great place to stay on Culebra. Note that the openness of the floor plan does make for a fairly social atmosphere-- if you are staying here with a group of guests who are loud or like to stay up late drinking and talking, you will definitely hear them (but everyone is super friendly so you might as well join them!) Even if you aren't stay here (or if you are), I highly recommend doing a boat charter with Captain Rico. We took the boat out to Culebra with 10 or so other people and had a beautiful day. It was super relaxing-- they had all the equipment if you wanted to paddle board or snorkel, or you could just read a book on the boat. Everything was included-- lunch, beer, booze, equipment! I get very seasick on boats and Rico went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable offering to "let me drive" the boat to take my mind off of the waves. The friendly staff and gorgeous views really make Villa Boheme stand out among other guesthouses in Culebra.

We stayed in a room downstairs that had two double beds, table, chairs, microwave, fridge, coffee pot, plates, bowls, cups, utensils, games, soap, shampoo, books, beach towles and even dish soap and bug spray. You will need bug repellant on Culebra. They also have complimentary beach towels you can take to the beach and the outside seating area is super cute. Mary picked us up from the airport, took us on a little tour of the town and showed us where we could find golf carts. The hotel is just a couple blocks from the airport so it's walkable. We departed early in the morning and packed light so we were able to walk to the airport in the morning. The golf cart and jeep rental places are also nearby and right across from the airport. There is a grocery store down the street that we stopped in daily. I'm from a city and used to walking so we did walk to town one night for dinner which I didn't think to be a bad walk and took maybe 15 to 20 minutes. I would recommend renting a golf cart or jeep since you'll want to check out a few beaches and the best way to see the island is to drive around. You may miss out if you try to walk everywhere.

Toilet paper and towels were also in there. The owner had shower towels and big beach towels in there. Other things that came with room~ books to read, checkers board game, a blow dryer, an ice chest for your beach adventures, and beach chairs (really nice ones) They did not have a tv but who needs one when your at the beach all day. Things close by~ there is a little supermarket walking distance (right around the corner) and the famous Flamingo beach is also very close, The airport is close by as well and dinghy docks which has amazing food and highly recommended is very close to the lighthouse. Service~ Mary and David are the owners and live right upstairs so they are always there to help with anything you need. They are very friendly and originally from the states so speak English. All in all~ this was a GREAT place to stay at. We were going to originally stay at a hotel but they were all booked so found this place on trip advisors. Hotels were much more expensive and here we got everything we needed and more. I would HIGHLY recommend this place to everyone. Great friendly service, clean and they have everything you need. Love love loved it!

We were given a lot of personal attention and the ride was amazing to say the least. The view above water and under water were breathtaking in their own ways. We saw a lot of coral on the reefs (that haven't yet died because of bleaching... but sadly it is more prevalent that we would've liked) and colorful fish and even reef sharks. The spots we were taken to were exclusive too. We were pretty much the only people there to enjoy the glassy water and a deep blue ocean with a coral ecosystem so beautiful that our camera cannot do it justice. Taz was a great captain and had lots of interesting stories to share. All in all, this was an amazing experience. I would recommend - just remember to allot a bit more time because, you know, island time.

I went out for two dives with Taz. I'm still a very new diver, and I explained to him that one of my ears needed extra time to clear during the descent. Because of this, and a problematic mask, it took me several attempts before I was down on the sea floor the first time. He was clearly out of patience by the time this happened. Then, thanks to him underweighting me (even though I told him I had worn more weight during all my other dives), I found myself on a runaway ascent to the surface halfway through the dive. Scariest experience of my life!!! And it was very dangerous too--I could have caused serious damage to my lungs. Taz tried to blame it on me, but later grudgingly acknowledged I probably should have been weighed down more. He never apologized though. On a side note, lunch was nothing to write home about. Ham and cheese sandwiches and chips. The bread was stale. If you value your health and safety: Stay away. Far away.

The hotel has a restaurant but it is currently closed (since the pandemic started). When it was open the food was really good. Great selection of beers. The rooms don't have kitchens but you are in town, which means you are close to everything. Zaco's Tacos is across the street. Pancafé Bakery (Pandeli) is perfect for breakfast and is 1 min away. Dinghy Dock, Caracoles, and Mamacita's are very close for lunch, dinner, and drinks. Heather's Pizza and The Spot (dive bar) are a little further away, but still walking distance. You also have Colmado Milka close to stock up on food and drinks for the beach. And you have La Galeria de Regalos nearby for shopping, as well as a few other businesses. In other words, the location is fantastic. The only negative is that being in town means you are far from the beaches. You will need to rent a jeep/golf cart or call a taxi to reach beaches like Flamenco, Tamarindo, and Carlos Rosario. The hotel has private parking. Also, note that there is no front desk. It is self check-in and you are basically on your own. I recommend this hotel if you are staying in town.

From the moment we arrived after a quick ferry ride from St. Thomas we were swept up in the vibe. This spot is basically a no-holds-barred beach bash in broad daylight: cold tropical cocktails flowing, live music pumping (especially on Sundays), and everyone from locals to visitors cranking the energy to max. It's not just a bar and grill; it's where "daytime beach party" gets redefined. We got there early, grabbed shaded lounge chairs plenty of amenities like paddleboarding and snorkeling are a nice bonus), and before we knew it, the place was packed with groups laughing, dancing in the sand, and toasting like it was midnight at a club. Pure, unfiltered fun kids these days might call it getting "Crunked Up," but for us, it was straight-up thriller-level partying under the Caribbean sun. The food hits the spot too: fresh locally caught fish, juicy burgers, tacos, and salads that feel perfect with your feet in the sand. Service can lag when it's slammed (which it usually is, in the best way), but who cares when the atmosphere is this electric? Fun facts that make it even better: Dinghy's sits right on Honeymoon Beach, one of the calmest, clearest spots in the USVI, on tiny Water Island (just 3/4 square mile easy to explore, big on vibes). It evolved from a spot called Joe's Beach Bar when the current owners took over around 2013, turning it into the go-to for boozy, sweaty, sultry beach days that feel like the Caribbean's version of a legendary cantina hangout. No wonder it's racked up thousands of glowing reviews it's consistently ranked as a top beach bar for good reason. If you're in St. Thomas and want a place that kicks off the good times early and doesn't let up, Dinghy's is it. 5 stars would party there again in a heartbeat. Cheers to epic daytime adventures!
