I'm definitely a little more awkward feeling and shy than I used to be, but Mahina made me feel so much more comfortable and confident ! A friend of mine asked me (an amateur) to be a model (gasp lol) for some products she was releasing, bags, tees, etc. so I of course was nervous but so happy to help. We shot at two locations on two separate days, the first being a more private secluded area and the second a much more public walk through town. My friend didn't really know what she wanted to do just that she needed these pieces shot so she could do this next launch but Mahina really stepped up, took control, and helped make the shoot as efficient and comfortable as possible. I immediately fell in love with Emily's artistry when I stumbled upon her Instagram! Words cannot explain how beautifully she captures everything so check out a few of the wedding pics I shared along with this review, as they speak volumes about her work. Emily's packages were also very reasonably priced, which left room for my now husband and I to add on a wedding album and USB drive of all the photos to our package. I don't think you'll find a better value for the quality of wedding photos that Emily delivers. Emily is also such a kind and accommodating person! Our wedding ceremony and reception was planned for March 21 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic abruptly shuttered everything on Oahu. So instead of the 200 person reception we planned, we postponed the reception with our extended family and friends to next year and opted to marry in an intimate ceremony with our immediate family instead. Throughout this whole craziness that unfolded in a matter of 2 days, Emily was extremely sympathetic. She was able to still come out for a mini session and capture our intimate ceremony. She was very nice and was more than happy to postponed our wedding package to next year when we get to celebrate with everyone else. She arrived early day-of and was very good at people wrangling too! She guided our family efficiently and got all the family pictures in, and had a way of making my husband feel less camera shy. The day after our ceremony, Emily had already sent me some sneak peeks that looked amazing and that we could share with our family and friends! And within one month she had finished editing the entire gallery from our wedding.
