The weekend following the acceptance we took a weekend trip to Decatur to see what sort of housing options we could expect. We contacted Sherry with a list of wants and needs on Saturday afternoon and she met us for some whirlwind house hunting on Sunday. Sherry was very friendly, very organized and was extremely attentive to our needs. And when we found the perfect house (to our surprise!) Sunday evening, she very quickly researched the property and gave us the info and advice needed to make an offer. She also contacted the seller's agent and made the offer for us. She also took care of all the inspection and scheduling! She handled everything quickly and efficiently and was very communicative - she made the long-distance home buying process so easy and stress free. We love our new place and have Sherry to thank for it! She also gave us good recommendations for an agent to sell our old place in the suburbs. My wife was…read moreexperiencing breathing problems so I stopped the car for a second to check on her and see if any further action was necessary. An attendant approached her car and rudely told us we could not park there. I tried to explain what was happening and that I had no intention of parking there but he continued to interrupt me and got belligerent. I responded in kind but meanwhile my concern about my wife was primary. The petty little man who wouldn't listen could have seriously affected my wife's well-being, and if it was up to me he'd be fired. I understand you have to have rules about parking but this is ridiculous and this guy was a total moron.
