These guys are as greedy as they come. I found my dream home here. I never thought it was possible for me to find a home I could buy that I could afford so that I could retire in a couple of years and afford the payments. I was coming from another state. I found the most beautiful place. Space rent can be a real problem. The space rent was 752/mo. Since Arizona like most states has no limits as to what they can charge even though most don't go overboard I found out(and it didn't come easily to find out) that when I purchased it would go to 1105/mo. as soon as I took ownership. Well that was the end of that for me. I was devastated. This is a beautiful and very large park collecting massive fees from many sources. Greed at it's worst. We stayed here for a week for my nieces wedding. The campsites are not level and the location of the water, electric are far behind where you can park your rig. There are two dump sites at every site. One is directly under the RV. I had to use my extra dump hose for the first time ever to reach my tanks. They offered a WiFi for $5 a day. This is the first campground that has charged for that. It's 2025 people! This campground is slowly becoming a mobile home park. read more

Very active 55+ community with something for everyone. The grounds are immaculate and the staff is excellent.

Course was probably in the worst shape I have ever seen it. We paid a higher price than we have ever paid, played for less than 4 hours and then we're kicked off of the course with 35 minutes of daylight left. We should get a $20 refund per tee time. Avoid it during snowbird season!!! read more

Beware of hidden fees. We stayed here Feb 1 to Apr 23. We agreed to a $150 utilities deposit. Not realizing we would be charged per month: Sewer Flat rate: $31.77 Trash Flat rate: $25.65 Water meter: $32.06 Electric Base rate: $20.00 That is $109.48 minimum per month. Also the electric base rate is not subtracted from the electric meter read. Without running our Air the Feb electric meter read was $55.33 and March with 1 Air day was $131.86. You have no way to confirm this since you never get a meter start and stop with your bill read more

This place use to have the best Karaoke I've ever been to. Nice big TV in the back where you could actually face the audience. Great people, awesome KJ, just so nice. It was always packed! Went tonight and it was terrible! 3KJs couldn't keep anything straight? How hard is to put someone in the rotation? The restaurant there is Fat Willys! Not sure who owns what? Ordered my favorite beer they were out, this should have been my sign to leave! So I tried a different brand. Should have gotten a water. Ordered a burger not good! Bun was soggy? I left most the bread... I will say the fries were good, thus the one star. On top of that they charge $5 to get in to the karaoke... if they get the old KJ Back I'll consider going back! This place is enormous and the people living here are the best. For many, probably most, it's a 2nd home. A winter visitor home. Many of the RV owners are Canadians who stay the best 4 months of our year. Smart! And the modern RV is more than livable. It's more like luxury living in RV heaven. Anyway, there is a large, active tennis community here as well. Beautiful tennis facility. Like everything here, pristine. My good friend Chris Langdon directs the tennis program and people flock out for his lessons, hungry for securing a competitive edge. Recently, Chris and his friend Larry Snow coauthored a tennis training book, titled Tennisism. The book is all the rage at Viewpoint RV tennis club. Tennisms contents is neatly 200 pages of concise tennis tips, a zinger of a book. Ask and I will supply details. read more

Honestly, I like this course and feel that it's a challenging little track, which is relatively unknown. The greens are fast and challenging. They keep it in fair shape, even during the summer. My main issue is with the crusty old bastards that work the cart stand. Not only do these guys actively push people away from the course, but they also start forcing people to quit an hour and a half before the curfew. These guys are crotchety humans who are, unfortunately, the main face of the organization. Spend your money elsewhere read more

We are not very familiar with the area and our first spot, which was another RV location was a disaster. Thank goodness that Viewpoint had a spot for us. We've stayed here for 11 days and have enjoyed our stay. The family is very clean and the RV camp spot was very spacious. The welcoming office was very kind and helpful and everyone has been very pleasant. We didn't get a chance to try pickle ball but our next time here we will try it for sure. I liked the pool area, laundry room and fitness centers and I'm sure we will make time next year to try it all. Thanks again for the pleasant stay and see you all next year! read more

This place was definitely not what I expected. We were making plans as we went in our RV. This stop made me change my ideas on that. We made reservations after closing - which it allowed us to do online. As we arrived at around 9pm the guard shack told us we couldn't not park there. After arguing for 3ish minutes back and forth, I remembered I had screenshot the reservation. We showed him our reservation made AFTER closing. He finally gave in and told us to talk to the office in the morning. The office wasn't open on the weekends. This was an awful suggestion now I see why it was the only place in town with availability!!! Highly suggest you go elsewhere unless you are there early and not on a weekend. We did not have the spot we reserved, we did not sewer like we paid for. read more

Stayed here for a week with friends in a fifth wheel trailer for Spring Training. The park is very big almost a must to have a golf cart. We cruzed the park and found a couple of club houses many pools and jacuzzis. Everything is kept up very well. Very Nice people; you wave a lot. Played the18 hole course very forgiving course. We had a great week at Viewpoint and are actually thinking about buying there. read more

We have been staying in viewpoint in the 5100 block of the RV portion of the park. Back in October shortly after we arrived we were told in a series of emails with Amanda that we would have no problem becoming annual residents, we filled out the application at that time and she came back and said that we did not need to process it until March of 2022. We found out completely by accident that they were closing several rows in the park with no notice from management and after posting on Facebook found out that they did give some people notices taped to their RV doors and gave them an opportunity to move to an equal site and then others just got a notice that said they were simply closing those rows and we of course got no notice at all. When I went to the office and hold them accountable the manager was cold and callous and offered us substandard site in the front of the park that was not large enough to meet our needs. Not only did they displace us but it was a cascade effect for 5-6 rows of annual RVer's. There were no apologies, no offers that they were working with other Encore parks to absorb the people. I am absolutely infuriated about how this was bias and that no information was given to us since they very well knew we had planned to stay and because of that we had not made other accommodations at that time! When were they going to tell us? No answers whatsoever. Also I have had to request our utility bills every month and get no definitive answers about when they will be ready and 4 months into our stay I have received on bill for our first 2 months and got a blanket answer the other day when asked about the last 2 months. I am completely disgusted with the front staff office and Amanda for not letting us know anything and we had to hear about only by going to inquire about the covered site next to us otherwise we would still be completely in the dark. Who treats customers like this? Plan will be to also contact Encore corporate and let people know about these bad business practices. read more

One day in Sept we decided to downsize. After several weekends driving from property to property we came upon Viewpoint and kept coming back as it floated to the to of the list. Not only does it have beautiful landscaping as soon as you enter, it also has the nicest sales team. Kathy was our first contact and she made me feel like family. Rebecca showed us the house for 1st tiem and couldn't have more helpful. Lisana (?) took over any issues we had adn Vicki reminds us to breath. thank you all! read more

Stayed here in February, 2019. Nice RV Park but with some undesirable lots. They charge the same price for an interior lot which is nice as a lot next to a very busy road. They should discount these lots by the road as it is so noisy you cannot carry on a conversation on your patio. read more

Well, its pretty hard to please everybody all the time, but the fact that there are no negative reviews should tell you that place must be doing it right. This is a giant park and in the wintertime it is full. Two golf courses, 10 tennis courts, pickle ball, a baseball diamond, four pools, two fitness centers, a great venue for entertainment which there is a lot of, a sports bar restaurant Fat Willys, all sorts of activities. It is 55+. You wont be sorry if you go to Viewpoint and stay the winter or maybe just a couple of months. read more

ViewPoint RV Resort in Arizona is very well-maintained golf and RV community in Mesa. It caters more towards the prefab home style over 55 and long term RV parking. The RV park is way in the back of its 2000 unit facility . We opted to park in front of registration since we were only there for 2 nights. The dog park / walkway was so far away, we had to truck up and drive to the end of the park to walk the dogs. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. read more
