It will cost me between 30,000 + to have it removed. I can't sit out on my porch, I did cry, cause Randy told us that the pole will be on the left side of the house away from any windows and doors. Now I feel unsafe. Truthfully, Champion builders and Randy should pay to have it removed. I believe in prayers and beside NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOR OUR GOD. If I have to pay, so be it. It's unsafe so near the window where the sun hits also.

However, after nearly two years of a perfect payment history, I did contact them to find out if I am able to change my payment date to better serve my budget. As a single mom of three kids, one of whom is special needs, I need to make sure that I am always one step ahead of the game. The representative I spoke with acted as if my request was absurd. She advised that because the owners were "fed up" with other people missing their payments, she was hesitant to even put the request in. I again reiterated that I have a perfect payment history, always having my payment withdrawn automatically and never missing, and stated that it seemed weird to me that I would be unable to adjust a payment date, as most loans will allow for this. When I explained what date I was hoping to pay (2 weeks after the original date), she said "Whoa! That is too far out!" She then suggested that I just pay a month in advance if I wanted that payment date, as if I have an extra $1400 lying around. I thanked her for her time, and ended the call. Do I love my home? Yes. Do I wish I had researched the ability to refinance away from their company prior? Absolutely. Because of the age of my home, I'm unable to do so, and am stuck paying a high interest rate, without the ability to even make the timing of the payment work better for my budget.

Nick is highly conscientious, dependable, thorough, & honest, & his prices are highly competitive. He also does work that's second to none. As far as pricing goes, I'd rather pay a little more for a top quality job than to pay a bargain price for a job that turned out to be mickey-mouse; i.e., crappy. In the case of the latter, it would only cost more in the long run to have the job re-done the right way. He will not overcharge you. His prices are fair. Instead of merely doing patch-work, Nick filled the two walls with rebar & concrete. Although time-consuming, that is the best way to ensure sturdiness & durability. Then, he added stucco to match the original stucco & matching paint. There isn't any job that DIGN Homes cannot do, & I give you my word that you will be thoroughly satisfied with the results.
