At the end of the shoot I paid for the services and kindly asked that my photos not be used for promotional purposes or shared online. I am a very private person and was not ready to share my pregnancy with the world or better yet have my bare body online!!!! The photographer appeared to be upset and stated " the pictures belong to me. If you don't want them posted you have to pay for the copy rights" ($200 additional). This was the first time I experienced anything like this. Unfortunately I had to pay $200 for my photos not to be shared on social media. That is wrong. The ONLY reason I didn't get my attorney involved is because my photos would be shared hours and that did not give me enough time to have him served. I paid what you requested for a service. Then had to pay an additional $200 to NOT be exploited or used for promotional purposes. It's rude, disrespectful and distasteful. Do Not Use this photographer.

She is friendly and enthusiastic, but also manages to blend into the background so you don't feel like you're performing for a camera. She may suggestion exploring a certain area of your surrounding during the shoot to get a more interesting backdrop, but otherwise mostly just follows you around clicking away. The pictures that Amy takes are arrestingly beautiful. She is able to see and capture beauty that you didn't even know existed. I am bias to the pictures she's taken of my family, of course, but I've seen lots of her work and I'm taken in by pictures of people I don't even know. It's like she sees invisible threads of connection that exist in a family, and is able to record those special moments. Even in the ugliest hard situations, Amy is able to see and capture that beauty. Our son was in the hospital for almost a year dealing with some serious medical complications. During that time, Amy came to the hospital and took some "day in the life" pictures.
