I read all the reviews and was impressed with how many dogs he had trained. Different breeds and ages. I texted him and he provided me all the information and we confirmed a date. I saw a promotional price for Temple City, but since I am at another city, it is a different price. I did text him a day before our appointment to remind him just in case, per our agreement. My puppy is getting the "DOG OBEDIENCE TRAINING: Commands and Problem Behaviors, pulling on leash, dumpster diving, counter surfing, mild barking, potty training, jumping, digging, chewing, nipping, not listening. NOT FOR DOGS WITH AGGRESSION or FEAR!" A total of 5 sessions, once a week, 55 minutes per sessions. This training is done at my place and indoor. By the end of his training, he learned 18 commands in 5 weeks! Please note that it also depends on your effort and if you're training your dog daily with what was taught. Mike is great with our puppy! Turns out he owns the same breed as me. From my perspective, he trained my husband, me and my puppy altogether. If you're doing something wrong, he would tell you. He is patient, always on time, and so kind to my puppy. I especially love the graduation ceremony. I was holding in my tears. Overall, we are very happy with Mike and the result.

We are very happy with Michael's approach to training. He is effective and nurturing, but firm and very patient. We prefer his style of training as it is supportive and encouraging. When discipline is needed, we have firm commands that Michael taught us. He also provides tips for helpful products like corrector spray and developmental and age appropriate toys. His "graduation" ceremonies are so fun! We had a standing weekly appointment, but Michael was flexible when things came up and responds to any calls/texts in a timely manner. We plan to return for advanced training to continue our puppy's learning.

She handled my baby girl Guinness, a 12 year old Shepherd, before and during her cancer fight with such love and patience. She even eventually got Guinness to let her trim her nails! Something no one including me, had ever been able to do. She grooms my 14 year old Chi/Pom baby so gently, she falls asleep in the tub. She's just started with our newest 1 year old pit/weenie mix and also has so much patience with his puppy energy. He's learning how to get groomed from the best! We took our puppy to Puppy Pre-School at Scott-Fox training. It was the best decision! She had so…read moremuch fun & got very socialized. And we got a break on dealing with a very energetic puppy! She went 3 days a week. You can pick how many days a week, and which days your puppy attends. You drop your puppy off between 8-9am and pickup between 4-5pm. This gave us free days to deal with the ramifications of the Eaton Fire. They exposed her to all kinds of sounds (fireworks, appliances, birds, etc.) and worked with her on loose leash walking, coming & staying, and being crated. The crating really worked! We thought we wouldn't be able to handle her crying, but after being in puppy pre-school she goes in quietly, hangs out and naps. We also as owners, learned the importance of sleep for a puppy! They sleep a LOT, and are much better pups when they are rested. We'd love the option of a few 1 on 1 classes with a trainer, since we have a lot to learn also!
