We had zero communication with the office/"front desk" yet we were hit with a $250 cleaning bill…read moreafter our stay. We were scolded for not having the suite door closed at all times, suggesting "bugs" got inside (weather was nice and we're entitled to a breeze); we were told we were "partying" as some of our very tidied up garbage we left behind included alcohol cans (no party was had); there was zero signage saying you could not smoke *outside* the building yet got fined for that; there was no rule book yet many rules were shared *after our stay. There was no damage, and there were no warnings of any violations during our 2-night stay. Make sure to pack your own food as everything, literally everything closes by 9:30pm. We arrived just after 9pm and had to eat food rations from our car. It's a pretty entitled community.

Absolutely impeccable room: clean, spacious,…read morelots of light with great amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee, tea, plates, cutlery, iron, large flat screen TV, etc.). I bumped the base of the lamp in the bedroom and voila! there was light. Touch it 2 more times and the light gets brighter and brighter. There 2 TVs in our room and dimmers on the ceiling lights. Floors are a nice wood-like finish with area rugs so, your allergies aren't assaulted by allergens that live in carpets. My favourite room is the bathroom. Floor to ceiling gleaming glossy white subway tiles and a nice calming pic over a stand alone bathtub. Need I say more? Wow, wow, wow!

I had no problem finding this location. It's across from a gas station that is still being built. There was plenty of parking. I parked, hauled my luggage and computer bag out of my car, and headed in to check in. I had a wonderful woman with a British accent at the check-in counter help me get all set up. I am a platinum elite member, so I got points as my welcome gift. I got my room cards and was shown where the elevators were. I love TownePlace Suites because you get a kitchenette. My room was compact. If you like roomy, perhaps this place isn't for you. It was roomy enough for me. However, it didn't have a luggage rack. It wasn't a big deal, though. I ended up placing my luggage on the floor and unpacked that way. Anyway, the kitchenette was stocked with an entire full bottle of dishwasher liquid soap. This is rare and a first for me. I have either been happy with a tiny bottle or had to ask the front desk for a bottle. I loved the generosity! I fixed myself snacks and made my smoothie drink with my personal blender. Breakfast is served downstairs. Otherwise, you can always make meals in your room for variety. I slept extremely well. I was on the top floor, which was quiet. The bed was comfortable and spacious. I watched TV from both my bed and the sofa. I was extremely comfortable. The washroom was clean. The shower was great. The water pressure was perfect. Housekeeping did a great job with my room. I was pleased. This hotel is within walking distance from Shoreline Casino, which is next door. You can roll out of the bed and then roll dice at the casino in two minutes tops. I had a fabulous stay at this hotel. I would come back again when I am in town. (338)

The room we stayed in was spacious, clean and well appointed. Great amenities and even a kitchen (full size fridge, dishwisher) that has all the utensils needed to prepare a light meal! 24 hours tea and coffee set up in the lobby area. A nice self serve breakfast which includes hot food. Ample parking and located right next to Shoreline Casino. (You can just walk there!) Highly recommended if you looking for a hotel if you in the area.

For my stay I had booked out 5months in advance and this time I made sure I booked the main inn. Ste Anne's Spa is great for all types of people whether you're looking for a day visit, cottage home retreat or just an all inclusive overnight type of stay. Every visit I seem to fall more in love with this place. Opted for the I love spa package and do I ever feel pampered. Took the via rail to Cobourg and had a shuttle pick up. From there checking in was seamless. Room was spacious and clean. The curated food menus for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinners are all great with many options to choose from. Enjoyed the steam room, cold plunge and thermal pools. Therapists were all top notch. What a difference when you stay at the main inn! Definitely looking forward to more visits in the future.

Lovely property in Grafton. It's about 90 minutes drive outside Toronto…read more You can also go by rail there and they will arrange pick up for you (there is a fee). Extensive grounds with tranquility gardens and lots of walking paths. Day spa includes lunch and afternoon tea. Lovely big pool, plus a variety of hot and cold jacuzzis. Sauna in the locker room too. They have other yoga, meditation and other classes available for a fee. Lots of body treatments including massages and body scrubs. Meals were wonderful. Great place to decompress. Two minor annoyances - 1. Please do as they ask and put away the phones. It is distracting for other guests 2. Don't reserve chairs by the pool for a long time by leaving your belongings there. Some folks did it for over 3 hours while we were there. So not fair to other guests. Otherwise, a wonderful spot and great staff. Note - Do take your epi pen if you are allergic to bees/wasps. There are quite a few buzzing around the pool and gardens.
