Such an iconic place to see. Who doesn't want to eat and jump off a pirate ship looking restaurant. There is no wait staff so you have to order your food at the counter. We ordered our food and we had to wait about 45 minutes for our food to come out. It wasn't even busy. While you're waiting you can jump off the second story of the restaurant. There is a sign that says no jumping or diving but there are lots of people that are doing it. It's a fun atmosphere with decent food. read more

One star here is purely to call out Olivia the bartender that wanted a $100 for "a" cigarette and when I said there's no way I'd pay that, she goes and says, "He's cheap", to someone else that gave me a pack of smokes, and didn't want a dollar for it. The two guys that were bartender's, both were awesome so if they did away with this immature girl that was not only disrespectful to her customers, while also trashed on the job, this would've been an awesome spot to end the night. read more

Was at Willy T's way back in 2008. Leased a 44 foot cat and set sail around the BVI's. Three other couples on board. Snorkel and cruise by day, eat and drink by night! Jimmy Buffett on by 9 AM and all day long! Hit Willy T's one evening, and it was the old rowdy Willy T's !! Had a blast! The people make this place, it's truly iconic!! This floating bar off Norman Island is an absolute blast and unique experience. We visited around noon with a group of adults, young adults and teens, so fortunately for us, it was pretty quiet at the time. We heard this place can get pretty packed and rowdy, so it was nice to have the whole boat to ourselves. Jumping off the top deck is a must! The kids could have done this all afternoon. The pub grub and drinks were very good. They had menu options for everyone. Service was very friendly. Definitely an experience worth trying if you're in the BVI's! read more

Worth a visit in Bight Bay. Seriously, if you are into people watching, mainly rowdy, drunk, happy, boaters drinking Painkillers, ... you can't afford to skip this place. Viewing people getting in and out of their dinghy's ion the dock was hilarious. Not to mention others diving off the back deck of the second floor bar ( in front of the sign that says 'No Diving'). You know, when you are in the islands, you do what the islanders do. We were here last year, though the boat was located in another cove. It is back to its original spot now. It is a party boat and that is it, so do not bring children here, do not think it is some great restaurant, do not think it is anything but a big party boat with lots of drinking and people jumping, pure and simple. We knew what to expect after our trip last year and our very large group had a great time! We were disappointed that they do not serve food during the day any longer. This place is a must do in the BVIs. My second time there and it was better than the first. Food was super fresh and tasty. My fish was very crunchy! Everyone in my group loved it. Willy Ts is a "dive bar"ge in the middle of Bight Bay off of Norman Island. It is set on an old steel ship that resembles a pirate ship. It has a deck on the side of the boat that can accommodate probably 8 boats/dinghys, however I went there on a busy day and powerboats will tie up side by side to create more "parking". There is a bar in the back and seating up top and main level. They serve a good amount of landlubber food that definitely isn't a cheap alternative to fish lovers. They do a catch of the day special that is freshly caught, and boy is it tasty! Also, unlike many other island establishments, you don't need any reservations. Overall I give it a 5 out of 5, of all the places to eat on the islands when yachting, this is the place! It's got a fun casual atmosphere and doesn't take itself too seriously. The food is of good quality and portion, and has that "locals hotspot" vibe. read more

I visited here towards the end of a 6-day learn to sail trip, with our captain and 2 other student sailors. It is exactly how everyone else described it: an old steel ship you have to boat out to; we took our motorized tender dinghy to the Willie T. vessel. Our captain knew the crew and maybe she had some pull. The special of the day I was there was tuna steak: cooked to perfection! It was worthy of a much more expensive restaurant. Other people in my party had several drinks, which they said were generous. We stayed after dinner and danced for HOURS to excellent, loud dance music; I danced with people from all around the world! The other guests were diverse and the vibe was fun and friendly! Our party was a lot older than most of the others but no one cared; it was super fun. It was a high point of my BVI sailing trip! read more

This is the perfect spot to get your island buzz going during a day of island hopping. I'm talking about $6 painkillers, on a pirate ship off of Norman's Island. I loved the environment at Willy T's!! The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars: I was a little disappointed that some groups decided to bring young children here since this was clearly an adult atmosphere. But hey... things are different out there. You can expect to find seriously beautiful views of the islands and the clear blue water from the top deck. We even saw a barracuda swimming below! A very unique experience and a great place to start off an obnoxious Virgin Islands holiday. Willy T's is a wooden ship that is no longer mobile and has been converted into a no shoes bar/restaurant of some sorts. When I was first told about this place I was cautioned that it would be an "adult" night out and you can quickly see why. Food is OK if you are expecting bar fare. The bar really gets hopping after 9-10 where people from all of the surrounding yachts keep coming in. Get ready to take shots off of a surf board, acquaint yourself with topless females and dance to 80s 90s top songs. Everything about this place screams seedy spring-break bar, but despite (or perhaps because of?) the disgusting bathroom, the teenagers that run the place, and the constant highlight reel of snapshots of topless women that grace the TV screens, it's so much fun. I came here on a Thursday night while on a sailing trip through the US/BVI and had an awesome time. Located on an old wooden ship that's permanently docked in the waters of Norman Island, you can dinghy right up to their dock and jump on board barefoot. There's a second level that people will jump off of that can be entertaining to watch. This place is a very seedy spot. Dirty. Do not go barefoot. I did and thought I needed a Tetanus Shot. All that being said, anyone adventurous and not easily offended needs to go here. Lots of mischief. Decent price drinks compared to other local spots. Heck, it is a boat that sits in a great spot and has pics that would offend many on their TV but would amuse most. I am glad I went but my wife was ready to go after drink 1. I had my daughters with me as well so had to behave. If you are in the islands to party, go here. Heck, you may stay here. Jump off the top naked for a free shirt but your pic will probably live in infamy so suck in your gut, hope its not too cold, etc. We were there early so missed most of this mischief but thankfully the pics streaming on the screen made us feel like we were there for some of the fun. Great spot to have a drink before dining at The Club on Pirate's Bite. If my wife reviewed this place it would not be pretty but if we visit the islands in the future I will be back for a drink. And if not with my wife, may stay for a buzz! And will probably suck in the gut and pray for warm weather so the future photos of me will not be totally embaressing. read more
