Her condo was perfect for me. It was fully furnished, and I mean with everything!!! All I brought in were my clothes, food, and all my personal bathroom product ;) The furnishings seemed brand new, and the condo building had all the amenities of a workout room, and even a swimming pool......so I was able to get my workouts in while I was out there for 6 months. The building was secure, and I felt very safe. I have certainly passed along the info of Furnished Homes To Go to not only my company's HR Dept, but also to my friends that may need a place to stay. Unspectacular, But…read more.... The Colburn Hotel is unspectacular, but there are some really cool things about it. First, Charlie Brown's is attached. If you don't know, Charlie Brown's is a piano bar with killer food and atmosphere. That's worth the trip right there. Now, I wouldn't want to stay over at the Colburn Hotel, however this ole building was once the residence of American poet and counterculture figure, Allen Ginsberg. Pretty cools stuff right there. Oh, and there is a lotto machine in the lobby. I like to go in to buy scratch tickets. I'm pretty class like that.

Plus there was a closet in the hallway with more amenities. We felt right at home while there. Close to food and points of interest. Parking is in the lots nearby. After my visit, I emailed the manager with a few tips on how to make the space a bit more user friendly-like adding hooks in the bathroom. It was nice to get a response that seemed to be appreciated. Next time I'm in the area- I hope to stay at the Acoma House.

I've stayed…read morehere a few times (different rooms) and it's one of the most unique hotel experience you'll ever have. Each room is designed by an artist, who you can easily follow on Instagram. The art is SO colorful and photogenic. Each room is decently equipped with amenities, with extra supplies in the hallway. There isn't a front desk. You receive instructions for accessing the building and your room via email. It's cozy and quaint. Street parking can be a challenge, but the stay is worthwhile. I arrived a little early for check-in and right when you enter, there is a tiny waiting room with an elevator. They had a sign that said between certain hours, you can actually head up the elevators to the next floor to check-in on an Ipad. I ended up trying that, but it didn't work haha, which honestly is because I booked the hotel through a website for work so I'm assuming that's why. I waited another ten minutes in the lobby area and when 3pm hit, they opened the doors to the hotel lobby/restaurant area. Also, I need to mention how incredible it smelled in the lobby. Seriously. This entire place thought of everything, even down to the smell. I loved it. Omg how dreamy and beautiful it is!! I was able to check-in with one of the girls in the lobby and it was seamless. She told me all about how the hotel worked. Typically, they don't have anyone there after 7pm but they have numbers in the hotel room if it's an emergency and you need something. They also sadly had a buyout for the restaurant so I didn't get to experience it, but definitely will come back and check it out next time I'm in Denver. Okay now for my room. HOLY WOW! I was on the third floor and the ceilings were soooo high. I've never had a room like that before. These rooms are so clean and beautiful. I felt more like I was staying at a friends cozy guest room than a hotel, which was amazing. They also came by the next day and made my bed and freshened up my room, too, which was so nice. The bed was also super comfy, too, which I appreciated. The location of this hotel is also super ideal. There is a restaurant across the street and a couple steps further is a coffee shop. Seriously such a great spot to stay within walking distance of some cool spots. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Horrible experience!! I had a family emergency and booked quite last minute. I paid in full and…read moremissed the first night as we made a mistake... no communication from the hotel! We showed up late around 10:30pm from our flight and they have no front desk just an IPad to check in! I am with my 19 month old baby and husband and just wanted to check in and got to sleep. I kept putting in my information and it kept rejecting it... again no person or phone number to contact. Finally another guest who stays there a lot reached out to the manager and he said we were a NO Show even though we had booked two nights and THEY GAVE OUR ROOM AWAY AND TOOK OUR MONEY WITH NO COMMUNICATION. When we tried to explain to the hostess who I guess also runs the after hours, she was so rude and asked why we didn't call them!!! We are the customer and they took our money and also booked it out!!! The team was absolutely rude and snappy! THEY SOLD OUR ROOM AND TOOK OUR MONEY!! HORRIBLE customer service! We ended up having to book another hotel - the Brown Palace and they were beyond gracious and understanding!

Being the energetic person that I am, I went for an amazing run at North Table Park which was very close to the hotel. I came back and was thrilled that Gab wanted to play a little volleyball with me. She is very skilled and was patient with me when I didn't quite pass the ball accurately. Dinner was delicious and my favorite sponge cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream was served up for dessert. The portions were huge! My room was super cozy and very tastefully decorated. I felt like I was at home. It was a wonderful stay at the Mesa Hotel and I will definitely return to this place again.

We had room 1-8, which had a valley view and was beautifully appointed with artwork created by the owners. For exercise, you can run, ride, or hike right out the front door around the Mesa which gives the B&B it's name. Or, for the adventurous, Gab will spend time with you jumping on the trampoline or you can take a unicycle lesson from her sister Anna. When the weather permits, meals are taken on the back deck with stunning views of foothills to the west. The chef, D'Gaw (French i think) was creative in his use of the smoker and grill. D'Gaw's wife Stephanie rounds out the the B&B staff, running the hotel shuttle and preparing generous and delicious deserts. We enjoyed the stay so much we plan to come back soon. Highly recommended.

Staying one night before an…read moreearly flight out of the nearby Denver Airport, here's our experience. 1) Check-In: Truly, the oddest customer service we've every had at a Hilton. Since Hilton is known for their service, it was shocking. The woman behind the desk said "Hiiii" in a very tired, sarcastic, and mocking way. She never smiled, asked us any questions. She was clearly annoyed to be doing her job. She then shoved our room keys at us and didn't even say "bye" or "have a great stay." It was so weird. 2) Rooms: Our suite was great! It was clean, spacious and came with a living room. The king-sized bed was so comfortable. 3) Space: The hotel is beautiful with an open lobby and bar. 4) Parking: Sadly, parking costs money so we parked outside of the hotel on the street.

We just stayed in The Library at the Patterson Inn, and we are certainly planning to return to…read morerepeat the experience. I'll try to keep this short: the Patterson Inn is a delightful boutique hotel with glorious original interiors that have been refurbished in a way that both honors the historical original and gives attention to the modern comforts people expect nowadays. So many small perfect details, storage everywhere in the room, good WiFi throughout, beautiful areas to relax, the on-site 12 Spirits bar, the great breakfasts served in a beautiful area and featuring made-from-scratch-on-site and local goods . . . and most of all the welcoming and helpful staff, who quickly feel like friends. (Cheers and so many thanks to owner Chris Chiari and innkeeper Steve.) And what a delightful neighborhood - safe, walkable, FUN, with all manner of entertaining things within an easy walk. The Library was large and SO comfortably appointed, with tons of storage, space heater and cooler and a great modern bathroom - just couldn't have been happier. On the haunting front - first of all, I'm not into this stuff. At all. But. When we unpacked, I'd left my (large, hardshell) suitcase on top of the luggage rack on the side by the entry door, and I'd put a large hardback book I was reading it dead square in the middle of it. Went to supper, had some drinks. Came back six hours later and my wife lay on the bed (on the side away from the entry) to check her messages. I was over at the desk by the windows (on the side away from the entry) plugging in my phone to charge. It had been maybe three minutes since we entered the room. THUMP! over by the entrance to the room. We looked at each other. We both said, "It wasn't me." I went over to look and . . . my big hardbound book was now lying on the floor about three feet from the suitcase on the luggage rack. Weird. Weird enough that we were seriously trying to figure out how it had fallen (there hadn't been an earthquake, no one was jumping around, it was totally still and getting later in the evening) and eventually one of us said, "Hey, what if it was the ghost?" Ha ha. Told the staff the next morning as kind of a ha-ha thing and they were remarkably unsurprised and gave every appearance of having heard this sort of thing a lot. It was weird to us, though. Anyway, forget about that - the Patterson Inn was a great stay for us, and we are really looking forward to a return. What we're up in air about is whether we want to stay again in The Library (which we loved) or check out another room.
